Reviews of Wellpark Brewery
Hands down the best brewery tour I've done. Our tour guide, Tony, was brilliant. Very interesting and a very nice pint to finish it off. Highly recommend paying the fiver extra and doing the tastings of the different beers. 10/10
Excellent trip around Tenants brewery, very informative finishing off in the bar for a beautiful creamy pint
Brilliant tour! Since restrictions have been lifted we were allowed to see inside the brewery which was super cool. Dan was a great tour guide and afterwards we got to enjoy a fresh pint of unpasteurised tennents straight from the source! Would really recommend if you’re a lager fan or just looking for something interested to do while in Glasgow. 🍻
Was a great day out, and the pints taste even more glorious straight from the source. Our tour guides Dan and Ian were both great, would recommend this to anymore!
The tour was really interesting and brought back memories looking at the old cans. Our tour guide Tony was excellent, knew everything there was to know. At one stage I was waiting on him telling me my mother's maiden name, a really knowledgeable guy and a good laugh. I would really recommend this tour and the complimentary pint in the bar at the end topped it off nicely.
Great tour taken by Tony. Would recommend to all. The export beers at the end were the highlight and a real shame we can’t buy elsewhere in Scotland.
We had a great time on our recent tour. Tony is an exceptional guide and we had lots of laughs. Definitely recommend the flight tasting at the end of the tour. A “must see” if in Glasgow.
Lovely way to spend an hour or so, the tour was fascinating & the guide made it with his delivery & humour. Not to mention the tasting session at the end. 🍻
Daniel, our guide, was very accommodating and hospitable. I loved the tour and my only regret is seeing that others got 3 or 4 samples at the end in addition to the advertised pint. We got two and were happy with it.
Myself and my brother had the tour on 1st February and found it to be very interesting and informative. Unfortunately painting was taking place on the stairwells and doors during the tour. We and the rest of the group were careful not to touch the wet surfaces but I had paint splashed on my jacket from somewhere above me. I mentioned it to the guide and he was somewhat offhand by saying that the danger was signposted. Since the tour, a matter of 7 weeks has passed without any resolution to my claim for compensation despite numerous phone calls and a letter. I have been passed from pillar to post with no-one in the Visitor Centre or the facilities accepting responsibility. Why the painting was being done while tours were taking place puzzles me. Surely overnight would have been best time. Another day has passed without receiving a promised phone call and 7 weeks is 6 too many. Just going now to have a few pints of their great lager but leaves a slightly bitter taste now
Very good tour. With a pint of your choice at the end as well as 3 glasses of export beer. Tour guide (Marco) was very knowledgeable and friendly. Didn't feel like he was rushing through the tour.
We went on Tennent’s tour the day that restrictions were pulled and it was amazing. Our guide explained all the brewery’s history and all the tour guys were very warm and welcoming (they also gave me a shirt as a gift 🎁) we had beer tasting as well and tried at least 4 different beers.
Recommend 100%
Worked with company for 40 years. Back tonight for retrial goodbye for me and everyone else who had retired during last 2 years of covid tonight!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Thank u Tennent Caledonian Breweries Ltd …
Good tour. Tony knew his stuff and was entertaining. Not a lager fan but enjoyed the stout and IPA at the end.
Gonna take the Canadian cousins when they visit in the summer.
Great tour. A must do if you're ever in Glasgow. Our tour guide Tom was very helpful and explained everything to a T.
Getting an in depth education on the history of one of the oldest Scottish products was one of the most enjoyable times of my life, they took us through the entire brewing process and then you got a free pint afterwards! Need I say more!
Thanks to tony for our 12 o’clock tour yesterday it was very interesting and you were so enthusiastic we will definitely recommend you.
It was interesting about the super lager story
Interesting tour, the tour guide was outstanding,.... funny, friendly, knew his stuff.
Recommended it to everyone since being.
Great.
Not what I expected the tour is not very professional or inspiring kind of "cold" and "dry" some areas very noisy to the point that you can't hear the guide. Overall poor.
Really enjoyed the tour. Tony our guide was great and a cracking pint at the end.
Good tour and great sampling of different beers made on site.
On holiday from Australia and couldnt miss out on my favourite beer
Decided to book a tour
We had real issies trying to have our credit cards accepted online
Decided to call the following day
Received perfect customer service from Ross while msking psyment
I have a bit of mobility issues at the moment and struggled during the tour climbing so many steps
Danial was the perfect guid
Gave everyone a great history lesson while throwing in a few laughs
The pint at the end was worth the cost of entry alone
We just had to stay for another
For his customer service alone dan the tour guide man gets 6 stars
Only two small negatives
The online booking issues and anyone with mobility issues will struggle on this tour
One thing to add
Maybe create a replica of the old cans as a gift on leaving?
Excellent tour. Sam was absolutely brilliant and delivered the tour with enthusiasm and some seriously awful puns! Both Sam and Tony were very knowledgeable and were great to chat to whilst we enjoyed the pint at the end. Another reviewer recommended paying the £5 for the three tasters; I second this!
Fantastic tour. Would recommend to anyone
Great tour, especially the tasting at the end!
Great tour lasts for a hour and at price well worth it very informative paid extra for the samples at the end

An amazing tour, so worth the money great experience I would recommend to anyone, the tour guide Craig was great and had good humour, the pint and tasters at the end were amazing
Scotland favourite 🍺. Good tour and a great pint to finish it off
This is the best tour ever in glasgow 😜😜
Really enjoyed the tour.
Wellpark is simply amazing
Good collection
Great beer
Larger brewery than it initially appears from the outside, within reasonable walking distance of the center.
Beautiful murals decorate the wall, and there are also some beautiful ones elsewhere on the grounds.
Tour not very special or surprising. Perhaps the best choice during the week because everything is in operation. We were with a small group (6 in total), so everything was easy to follow.
Afterwards I tasted 1 pint in the bar/shop (choice of lager, ale, cider) and a sample of 2 bottles.
An excellent destination and use of time, especially on a day with moderate weather
After visiting Glasgow's main museums, I decided to visit this distillery, and I did so at the right time. I was lucky enough to have Craig as my guide, who combines knowledge of the art and history of beer making with a sense of humor. I learned a lot about beer and the history of beer in Scotland. The highlight was at the end, when I was able to drink a pint of lager and try the other varieties produced by Tennents (don't miss the IPA), which was excellent in every way.
They give guided tours of the factory, and then invite you to do a beer tasting. Very good deal.
Tour guide was good, knew a lot and could talk with humor. You got a good idea of the history, construction process and the tour ended with a pint of tank Tennents.
Highly recommend doing the brewery tour. Fun and informative 🍻
And was 10/10
Good employer
Generous and informative tasting🍻
I heartily recommend it, first class beer
A very good tour of Tennent's and an enjoyable experience
Honestly the best thing i have done.the tour guide was amazing, i think his name was Daniel or David, all staff so friendly and wrll coming. Value for money and super interesting.
My partner and I went on the tenant's brewery disabled tour because if you're in a wheelchair, you cannot access the factory. But it is highly worth. we were met by Nick who took us outside into the brewery and told us what each building does and the history of tenants. Then he took us to the side. Let us smell all the hops and grains that Tennent's use. After that, he took his inside to the museum and showed us a video of how the Factory works. He was very knowledgeable friendly and couldn't do enough to help Very nice person . Then upstairs s for a pint of Tennent's that was drinkable this was because it through immaculate copper pipe system And unpasteurized. Then we had a look round the museum they have these large interactive screens with people from tenants history telling you about what they did and how they changed tenants. If you're disabled or a concession, you get a discount for the tour which includes a free pint. You must book before attending. No disabled access problems had everything you needed. A lovely little shop with gifts all tenants branded of course. Highly recommend a visit.
I am yet to take the tour but I just adore this building, the array of artworks always raise a smile, that 70s wallpaper and TV that reminds me of grans with the adverts flicking on it is a little slice of genius and yes the 70ft beers leave me parched every time. Well played Tennants.
Tony was an outstanding guide. Funny, engaging, knowledgeable...the tour was great, and we added on the extra tastings at the end to get a taste of another 3 types of beer Tennents makes. Great tour, definitely recommended!
