Reviews of Martlesham Heath Control Tower
Very easy to find and plenty of parking. The chaps (volunteers?) are friendly and full of information and stories. Plenty of things to look at as it is an old RAF and USAAF site.
Brilliant venue, well worth a visit.
Closed when we went there but control tower and grounds well preserved and presented
Worth a visit for a important time in history.
very interesting and informative. just give a donation to help the volunteers maintain this lovely piece of history..
Love this place lots of history withing the building and in the surrounding woods
Lovely morning out, we picked a good day as they had a fair on with an old car display along with a local RC flying club had a display of model planes amongst other displays and food stalls . The lovely weather helped.
Lovely museum
Really nice, enjoyed it very much. Sadly insufficient toilets for today's car show but it's appreciated what they're doing.
Always have a very positive experience when at the Martlesham heath Control Tower, and all the people who come to visit really enjoy the experience, and also as we as a team at the tower are in the process of giving the place a bit of a smarter appearance, we all hope it will be very popular with all who come to visit or are just passing by.
Just amazing. Museum is fantastic.
Large collection of information of aircraft from days gone by, also the part that Martlesham played in the war the famous legless pilot Douglas Bader, flew this airdrome
