Beautiful glass sculptures, shame there wasn't more as my 10yo son found them interesting too. Fun in the kaleidoscope workshop!

Small but interesting - they do have a good display on at the moment as well.
I was a little out off though. I was asked to put a mask on, even though wearing my mask exception tag, I’ve had to stop wearing one as I’m incredibly heavily pregnant and keep having bad Braxton Hicks that I have to breath through. The staff member was ok about it but it made me very anxious and feel really guilty.

Had time to kill in Leeds so popped in to the institute. Current exhibition of Portable Sculpture was fascinating, and I'm sure my pictures don't do it justice! Well worth a visit.

The museum itself is easily accessible and FREE, so awesome!
We saw the Julia Crabtree & William Evans Slip collection and it really made one think.
It was a good day of meditation for me

A great place to spend an hour if you're stuck for something to do in Leeds...it's free entry x

This library is a sculpture lovers dream. In all my years of going to Leeds I have always seen this place but never did I really explore what was to be.
I am re thinking of adding sculptures to my private interests once again and wanted to see what it was all about. Thankfully not only do they have access t0 some great books/pamphlets etc. They also hold regular exhibitions. Although I am a classic man myself it's great to see the library offering variety. Will definitely be back again.

Got talked into an afternoon of culture, so popped into this sculpture gallery. I was actually impressed with exhibitions on display, even if somewhat limited by the current pandemic. The staff are nice and informative and the gallery is quite a relaxing place too. Naturally, you have to provide your contact trace details, apply handgel and wear a face mask, but that did not affect the time I enjoyed here, definitely recommend this gallery. Parking for obvious reasons is an issue, but I found somewhere quite close and entry is free 😁👌

Nice experience, a bit small space

Always interesting, but then I am a Sculpture Vulture! Henry Moore is still a vast source of knowledge and inspiration.

A lovely and calm space, with great exhibitions. Right next to Leeds Art Gallery, in the city centre. Close to the train station. Well worth a visit! 😍
