Reviews of The RMS Lusitania Propeller Pier Head

A touching memorial to the 1198 people who lost their lives when the Cunard liner Lusitania was torpedoed by a German submarine on 7th May 1915, during the First World War. It was a moving experience to look upon a propeller salvaged from the actual ship that still lies on the seabed off the coast of Ireland. There's an exhibition about the Lusitania in the nearby Maritime Museum.

Beautiful reminder of the loss of the ship and the 1191 men, women and children who perished when it sank in1915. This propeller was retrieved from the wreck site.

nice equine sculpture by Judy Boyt (I believe its a monument to the working horse) next to the propeller itself...
