Real experts and great communicators with a splendid selection of work by interesting artists. They're framing service is very good too... Super posh museum quality glass, strong wooden frame with a classy canvas mount I'd not seen before.

Don,t feel intimidated they don,t bite. From the positioning of the Gallery and the window you may not think it but they have prints drawings and paintings at both the high end also works for those of us on a tighter budget. And they keep in touch with buyers . They have regular exhibitions and i,ve never been bitten.

Great watercolours remain an undervalued art medium, where finesse trumps shock and where the accent is on skill of execution rather the transient fashions of concept. Abbott & Holder have what must be the largest stock of 20th, 19th and 18th century watercolours in London, with a reputation to match. This is a place for both the serious collector (who will already know the gallery, and need no introduction) and those who wish to explore its possibilities. Both can rely on the authority of Philip Athill, the Managing Director, and trust the prices asked to be a fair and reasonable reflection of market value.
