Reviews of Autograph

Thoughtful and insightful exhibitions and events. Highly recommended

This gallery was very well curated. The collection of world they had were different, but very cohesive. They made great use of the space. The only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is because the space was quite small and hard to navigate when there's a lot of people.

Went to Autograph for First Thursdays Art Crawl with a large couchsurfing group. Autograph made for a great place! Lots of space for the exhibition which included a second floor. It made it easy to walk around while chatting to people. It made for a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and seemed interested about where we'd all appeared from.
I've been here a few times on previous art crawls and always had a great experience. I thought it was great!

An essential gallery exploring world issues that are often not discussed within the public domain. Also a great building in the heart of Shoreditch.

There are comfortable seats where you can spend time drawing or studying the various art exhibits.
It is quite spacious so.it is not difficult to walk around and spend time viewing g the various art pieces.
The last exhibition I attended was of a new and upcoming artists and I was impressed with the way the space was organised.
Well worth a visit.

This exhibition was mind-blowingly terrific. It ends on the 25 of January. Worth the visit.

Non-profit organisation and agency promoting and exhibiting mainly emerging photographers 'from culturally diverse backgrounds.'
Top- notch curation, exposition and contextualisation in a purposed contemporary setting.
Free admission here and deserving of repeated visits.

In a top tier location right in the heart of Shoreditch, this gallery really lives up to being in such a hotspot. Consistently great exhibitions that are challenging, engaging, and tackle worthwhile topics.
Most recently, they did absolute justice to one of my favourite artists, Lina Iris Viktor. Extremely well curated, it amounted to one of the best exhibitions I've seen in a long time. I really cannot stress enough how beautiful a display it was.
The gallery doesn't just do the highest end, it also meets the basics. It's fully accessible and with a good amount of toilets too. A beautiful space too.
This is one of the best galleries in the City, by far. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite independent galleries in the city. Always something thoughtful and beautiful to see here. It usually has important political or social implications, but their taste doesn't veer toward the heavy-handed or didactic.

Beautiful gallery in Shoreditch, set up to promote challenging art by black artists, some of them for the first time in the UK. The exhibition was very inspiring and the invigilators were kind and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to their next exhibition.
