Very lovely printing gallery next to the southbank. Although it is not too big it has a lot of very nice things to watch. A good thing they do is the amount of prints from different artists they sell, and the fact that behind most of them you can find a lot of information about the artist. There are some very affordable high quality prints. Different techniques and styles. If I were to make a nice present I would get a print from here.

Small, friendly gallery, that allows you to wander round without hassling you. You can usually buy an exhibit and take it away with you. Exhibitions last a couple of weeks, so its constantly changing. There's a small shop within the complex that sell books, cards and prints. And other original works are available for sale in display folders. Overall, much better than the Tate gallery next door, and you don't need to walk so far.

Nice and interesting gallery next to the Tate modern on the Southbank. I saw a post about an exhibition that looked interesting and dropped in. It is commercial and works are for sale. This does give you a chance to see works you might not see in a physical environment - not digital. Worth a visit and maybe they will have a work you need .

Absolutely love this am all gallery - it's amazing how cleverly the wall space has been organised to display a lot of art without being obtrusive. Would highly recommend if you have a spare hour - I'd rather come here than the Tate on some days.

This small gallery has a number of paintings and etchings for sale. Prices ranging from £70 up to £1000. There is a small book shop selling are related items.

Small, local and interesting gallery to see if you're pottering about near the Tate. It has some excellent works which are on sale. The curators are non-intrusive and helpful with any questions, it's pretty special how with the almost shopfront style and location they are able to augment the features of the site to give the most favourable lighting appropriate to each peice. Worth seeing.

This is a real gem sat right next to the Tate Modern. Whilst we all really appreciate the Tate Modern and what it does and the artistic intent and drive. The Bankside Gallery is a totally refreshing "take on Art" and the way it has to be. It was opened in 1980 by the Queen and is a registered Charity. They regularly present exhibitions by members of the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter - Printmakers. It is vital we support such places as the Bankside is actively engaged in the educational sector and helps along young people who need their guidance and help. Whilst I love the Tate Modern the Bankside Gallery holds a special place in my heart and mind. Please go and visit you will enjoy the experience.

Great home of the watercolor and painters and printmaker society with an exciting program of group and solo exhibitions a stone thrown out if the Tate Modern and by the Thames. Art lovers should certainly pay a visit.
