Reviews of Emirates Aviation Experience
Y. O. O.
This is an interesting place for aviation enthusiasts as you get to see a model of one the Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines which power the A380 with a mock-up of the nose of the aircraft. There are also flight simulators for the B777 and the A380 but they are not free to access. You get to play around a fake cockpit of the A380 which I found not accurate, but it is okay. The rest is just a cafe where you can Emirates souvenirs.
Overall it is great for a quick visit when you are done with the Emirates cable car.
J. W.
So fun ! £11 for the cable car and museum . Best experience in London ever . Cable car is impressively high with stunning views . We didn't have to queue or share our car. And it was amazing . The museum was small but interactive and really fun and we'll designed . Particularly enjoyed the plane changeover game on the touch screens and going inside the cockpit of the plane
D. S.
Great interactive activities for kids to see how the airplanes work and the systems in place to make traveling efficient
K. B.
Absolutely amazing place. It was a birthday present for me and I absolutely loved it. I got to fly an airbus a380 and a boeing 777 for an hour in an actual cockpit. It was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Everyone is so lovely and the museum and the gift shop afterwards are spectacular.
H. P.
Great experience especially for Av Geeks! It’s short and basic, but can’t complaint when it’s free. They have a 3min clip showing the journey of checked in baggage. For entry, was asked for Emirates SkyLine Ticket but if you’ve paid by contactless they let you in. Gift shop and cafe at end and prices are ok.
J. C.
Fun flight simulator for first timers with a helpful instructor that guides you throughout the whole experience
G. A.
Me and my girlfriend went for the aviation experience a couple of weeks ago and I cannot compliment Ali enough. The experience was fun but with the addition of Ali it just made it much more interesting and exciting. He gave us information during the experience was always very knowledgeable and approachable. Going forward I would always make sure Ali is there before I take other family members as I genuinely think he adds to the experience. Emirates have got an asset there!
A. H.
Amazing Experience, although it seems to be that the Flight Simulator is Outdated. It needs to be updated to the latest one. Apart from that, it was an amazing experience with friendly staff. Will definitely come here again in the future.
S. B.
This is my second time visiting and I've had really nice experiences! The staff is helpful and friendly and the facility is really clean. Really enjoyed the cable cars, it's roughly 10 minutes each way. The aviation museum is included when purchasing a round trip ticket on the cable cars and although it's quite small its perfect if you want to get to do more stuff in the city. Overall greatly enjoyed visiting!!
O. F.
The flying is very fun and the experience was amazing. More controls would be highly appreciated but its nonetheless very entertaining
M.
Beautiful place for both AvGeeks and the regular people! Although the museum isn’t as big as others, its layout makes it a very easy and immersive experience. The staff was very helpful and I will remember this experience forever! :)
J. E. M.
Great experience, bought as a gift for the hubby and he loved it!
Great day out!!
A. A. P. (.
Paid for the airline experience and this. It was well worth the extra money. Great time in the experience after been on Emirates Airplanes plenty of time. Great place for Tourist. Staff in the shop also friendly.
V. T. E.
WOW what an amazing experience, booked through Groupon as a gift for my Mother's Birthday and she was so thrilled with the experience, we had such a good day out. The staff are so friendly, extremely accommodating and super informative throughout the whole experience.
I recommend you book a flight simulator experience and not just a tour although the tour will have great photo ops for social media if you're on a date for example, but the actual flight experience was well worth the money and the instructors are young pilots in training who already hold a licence so trust me they know their flight path *Good Luck with everything you do in the future and work hard for those exams* - wonderful experience and money well spent.
5 STAR TREATMENT
If you are running late give them a call and let them know, they were pretty flexible on the day.
Really nice cafe on-site and a really well priced affordable shop, I took a photo in the cockpit of the fake aircraft seating upstairs and had it printed as a souvenir for just £5. Great little memory to have.
A. A.
Loved it..... You will get ride and aviation experience of Emirates ..... Also you will get discount if you have Oyster card. Emirates did a great job. You will love it. You will get the feel of how our lugagges were loaded into aircraft and you will also get to know about the flight cockpit .... If you can upgrade your ticket then you can feel the fly of pflight as well....😊
D. C.
Been on this twice. First time was great, was fun, for a tenner, you get to cross on the cable car (ExCel to O2) and check out the aviation experience on the other side (get to see the inside of a plane, cockpit, luggage, before retuning (more for the kids or those who haven't experience flights).
Decided to take the rest of the family and some close friends between Christmas and New Years. When buying tickets, asked if the aviation centre was open and included and it still was. After crossing, found out that due to staffing, it wasn't available to all (it wasn't busy, only 3 before us and inside downstairs was empty but they said that they had bookings, so had to cater for that). Went for a walk by the river instead, came back, and saw the centre still wasn't busy, went to cheekily ask to go since we were there and looked quiet. They said no but the tickets were available for the month but as we're not in the area anymore, it's unlikely to happen. It was still good for the kids but since I had the expectation of the Emirates centre as well, it dulled the experience.
I'd advise, for the full experience, double check with the aviation centre directly as they may have strict rules in place (mix of covid, Xmas event) and it wasn't clear on the site and even the ticket counter said it was open when booking (just not the VR part as you'd have to book it in advance). But the cable car part was fun either way, so if you just rock up for that, would be fun (as long as you're not afraid of heights lol)
K. V.
Well worth it! Tickets are reasonable, staff helpful and the actual experience is awesome. The way the cable cars work is very slick. If you want to save queuing time buy the tickets first.
S. M.
If you're an aviation geek and want a simple experience of flying then this is a good basic starter! Somewhat realistic but not 100% pilot simulator style... For example, we took off without flaps, landed with gear up etc! But good basic start to controls and basic systems and basic flying.
K. S. S.
Okay, my review will be coming from someone that already has a pretty good insight of the aviation industry.
The simulators are very very basic, it does help the visitor gain a basic insight as to how big an actual cockpit is, it helps to understand some of the flight instruments on the panels and a feel of the steering yolk (or column). The distance of the pilot in command and first officer is very accurate.
Where Improvement are needed: it does not offer the visitor the feeling of wearing the three point seat belt that flight dedk crews wear, it does not offer headset for simulated air traffic control instructions. It does not vibrate during the course of flight and the jet engine sounds are very quiet. The place is fairly small and could do with a nice expansion.
M. A. M.
Great way to introduce A380, it's cabin, engine, luggage management and simulator. Fun place for kids and aviation enthusiasts. I loved it. Rhe only disappointment: no more A380s to be built 😢
J. P.
Booked a flight simulator experience on an A380 for our son. The instructor was amazing! He could see that our son had flight knowledge and previous experience with other flight simulators and challenged him with different airport takeoffs and landings. The instructor also made sure our son got to try the 777 to see the difference. We all had a blast!
If you or someone you know is a flight enthusiast, this experience is a must.
J. E.
Flight simulator experience.
I wish our experience was more hidden from other people's eyes. As everyone keep talking and staring .
N. S. P.
Wow what a fun little ride! Only thing was I didn't know u can depart other end and walk around shops and return again.. we just stayed on! Great day out! Esp go o2 after.
O. F.
The flying is very fun and the experience was amazing. More controls would be highly appreciated but its nonetheless very entertaining
A. T.
The kids loved it and made a great event when combined with the cable cars. Would recommend as a free place to look around.
P. A.
The Emirates Aviation Experience provides visitors with a unique insight into the world of modern commercial aviation and the opportunity to take to the skies in one of four state of the art flight simulators.
With te Gondola ride you can see whole London.
A. P.
Boeing 777 and Airbus 380 avaition experience available.(£40 -£60) for one session. Apart from the avaition experience, there are few other things for kids, like a giant airbus 380 model. There is coffee and gift shop as well. Apart from the flight simulation which you need to pay for, this is included part of Emirates cable car ticket.
S. M.
The Emirates Aviation Experience provides visitors with a unique insight into the world of modern commercial aviation and the opportunity to take to the skies on board an Airbus A380 or Boeing 777 flight simulator.
It's a must visit along with the Emirates cable car...
W. E.
Bought a combined ticket for Thames Clipper and Emirates Air Line. Both fantastic ways to see London and the Aviation Experience finished the trip perfectly. A good trip at an excellent price!
A. C.
Loved it. It's interactive and you can wonder around to do different things. Also there is a good coffee place where you can have a coffee after trying the A380 simulator.
R. P.
Great views of the dock and river. Also useful to cross river. Cheap if you have travel card.
L. M.
Staff couldn't have been better, clean safe friendly and great views
M. D.
Absolutely amazing a must for sure staff were helpful and happy. Dealt with a request like it was no hassle at all.
I.
Great place to visit if you are for a short visit! The Experience in my view will take more than 25 mins to complete when you have children...
H. M.
Flight experience was good fun, on my friends recommendation we picked the B777 which you get to fly with a yoke so a more involved experience compared to the A380. Included in the price is the entrance ticket to the exhibition, which is fun but is very small and wouldn't otherwise be worth the £5 entry fee if purchased on its own.
S. S.
Great evening here, very friendly staff and lovely canapes. I was rubbish at first but got lots of help and then managed to get a flukey good score! Would recommend
R. B.
Much better than expected and probably cheaper than a ride at the fairground. Take Oyster or travelcard for best price. Wheelchair friendly thanks to staff help.
L. H.
It was a great view, but windows tinted and reflecting back. Will do daytime to see difference. A bit pricey
J. v.
Gives you an experience of the Emirates Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircrafts. There is a Rolls Royce aircraft engine model, seating and cockpit. It houses a flight simulator with realistic cockpit controls. You can pilot an A380 or 777 aircraft for yourself after training by the staff for a little additional cost. Its a one time experience. It also houses an Emirates merchandise store and a café.
M. S.
My children enjoyed this super idea great and friendly staff well worth the trip
A. S.
The staff in the Cafe were extremely friendly especially the man taking orders. We had a turkey, stuffing and cranberry panini and it was outstanding. For an engineering student this whole experience was accurate and definitely worth the money. Suitable for all ages and especially good partnered with the cable car next door.
Covid measures were great and the entire museum was disabled friendly. The staff were super attentive to my needs and I really hope this praise gets back to the staff working during the afternoon on the 12th June.
Recommend for sure!
S. R.
Amazing place to be. You can actually understand the way a Jet engine works, all the different things about the plane and we can understand the intense pressure the team bears while managing tbe things before and after taking off of tbe flight and landing. A must visit place in London.
L. B. -. B.
Amazing experience, it is a must for all the av geek! Museum only 5£, definitely worth it.
L. P.
Great views, reasonably priced. Well worth the trip
A. P.
I did an Airbus A380 simulator session under the guidance of Tony and it was awesome, one of my better lifetime experiences.
G. O.
We visited the emirates telepheric trip for approx £5 each (there are reduced prices for holders of oyster card). Nice experience and view from the top. You also see O2 arena -see photo.
The aviation experience is nice for children -included in the price we paid. There is a showroom of an Emirates plane machine and guidance to understand parts of it. Also, emirates plane chairs and a room where you feel like you fly the plane with instructions.
There is a room for photoshooting too and photos are printed at the end of the tour at £10 each I remember.
The whole ecperience may take just 30minutes. Can be a bit boring for adults.
E.
Had a amazing time and got some great pics, well worth going on
N. L.
Pretty good, only one in London, good family day out.
A. B.
Very educational and interesting. Plus very nice view and ride in the cable cabin.
J. W.
Brilliant way to cross the river.
Fantastic views.
H. M.
Queued for an hour for a 10 minute ride that cost way too much over the river. Would've been more worth it to just get a Uber boat and zip around the river instead.
P. S.
Great experience and a must do attraction if u visit
S. G.
Very nice experience, reasonable price. I bought the 360 tour experience which gave me access to the Emirates aviation experience too. Cup of espresso at the end of the tour which was fairly good.
W. L.
An excellent couple of hours on the simulators - was luck enough to be able to try both B777 and A380 - helpful friendly instructor who made the whole experience most enjoyable
P. M.
It's a small museum type place worth the extra couple of pounds if you're going on the skyline cable car, interested in aviation and behind the scenes of what goes on in an airport. Can probably see the whole thing in an hour.
P. F.
Birthday treat for partner. New experience. He loved this. He was able to try the Boeing 737 and the Airbus A320. Flying in Dubai, Australia, Singapore, Heathrow... the closest to visiting during this lockdown 😀 Lots of concentration needed! Thank you to Nazia our experience host.
L. D.
This is a really underrated attraction for aviation lovers. It’s quite short for those not doing the flight sim, but the few exhibits they have are very interesting. I did the flight sim for 30 min and loved it. Ali is a great instructor & top guy!
D. B.
Nice views. Worth a visit.
l. s.
Excellent.. Staff were so helpful, friendly and the actually experience was lovely.. See all down the Thames, very quiet.
Only one thing, they should have a audio and how it was built. Didn't understand the audio that can be downloaded while in the capsules, no relivance.
M.
This place was a nice bonus on top of the cable car, only small, but very interesting to have a look around.
M. j. D.
Amazing, kids loved the ride. Scariest part was it was so windy and wet which made this more enjoyable. Another exciting activity within the Se10 region including Arsenal football club. Hopefully my next team after Man Utd.
I. A.
Didn't know about this place the Mrs booked it as surprise birthday pressie was awesome.
E.
Lively experience for family specially children to learn out aviation
d.
Well worth the money.
Jackie was great and an asset to your business. Request her for your instructor, she's the best. :)
l. m.
Lots of different sections to explore the kids really enjoyed themselves and when they went upstairs into the aeroplane they could push buttons and was a recording telling information about the aeroplane
S. B.
Had a go in the 777 and A380 sims. Not as easy as you'd think, but a great experience! Recommended!
C. W.
It's alright if you have a small interest in aviation and just want a very simple simulator to play in. The sim itself is very basic. The panels are mostly 2d photographs, with no real working switches. The software is also very simple, and doesn't look particularly realistic.
The Airline Experience at Fairoaks, or FlightPad at the University of West London offer a lot more in terms of immersion, and at a very competitive price!
A. B.
Great views and supetb value
A. H.
Fabulous experience, very reasonable and great fun!
V. O.
The places included in the package are really awesome and we had a nice experience with them. The another noticeable thing was it is in link with TFL service sector, which also provide transportation.
M. L.
The museum was very small, although our son did enjoy sitting in the plane cockpit. There are a few interesting interactive bits but not a great deal. To be fair, the main experience is the cable car ride across the river, so don't worry too much about the museum bit at the end!
H. F.
What a cool place! The best part is the stimulator!!
V. B.
Really Good experience with this..
Emirates Air Line and Exhibition really fantastic
J. S.
Very exciting, we really enjoyed our visit
S. C.
Exhibit reasonable, shop and cafe less so..just slow service on this visit.
J. D.
My Grandson loved it and the staff were very good at managing the crowds
D. G.
Fascinating place to visit after taking a trip on the cable car over the Thames. You can see so much on the trip but also enjoy a visit to this place, especially during this quiet period!!
K. M.
Amazing views although not for the faint hearted on a windy and rainy day.
A. A.
Fun views over East London
S. T.
Amazing journey +view ♥️
p. s.
Staff are lovely, excellent views from the cable cars, which were very stable and felt safe. Nice little museum. All round good value for money especially in London
A. Š.
Loved it. Great experience
P. A.
Go for it. Take the cable car one way from the south side, get the river boat to the Cutty Sark, Greenwich and walk back underneath the river. Check it out. (Or do it the other way round of course). Get maps on your phone so you don't get lost.
D. 5. L. J.
It was EPIC great experience. I felt like a real pilot
T. D. (. L.
It is interesting dominant for children.
M. K.
It is very nice experience to try to fly one of the big airplanes. You will be quite busy at controlling the behemoths and 30 minutes is definitely not enough to get used to the simulator. I strongly recommend taking full 1 hour.
The exhibition itself teaches a little bit off how the planes work and is good to go through before the simulation.
S. M.
Awesome experience. Even though the ride is rather short
M. T.
Spent maybe 15 mins here after the cable cars. Was OK as didn't cost much on top of the cable car ticket. But not much there really
N. N. (.
We pretty much got forced into buying the more expensive experience ticket even after asking about the simple contactless payment option. The issue wasn't paying more but rather that no one explained what the difference is. All in all the ride is a good experience but the staff should be more helpful and better at explaining what you are paying for.
G. H.
Great flying experience. The instructor was very good and informative. I tried the A380 Airbus but that is just like a computer game and fairly easy. Try the Boeing 777 it's much more of a challenge to fly!
K. B.
This place is great if you have an interest in aviation as there is lots to look at, play with, and learn. Also they provide a Simulator Experience which you pay extra for which is well worth it. You can also get the cable car to and from this place as it is part of the same building.
S. S.
Did not seem very busy at all when we went on Sunday morning. We traveled one way with Oyster card which was £3. It was quite blowy on our crossing but it felt very safe. This crossing was much higher than I expected but great view and views and experience.
A. C.
Nice place to visit. Good experience
H.
Great time. Caught the clipper from Greenwich which was an interesting journey. We then caught the cable car over the river and back, awesome views and well worth the ticket price. Very nice coffee shop and really friendly staff.
K. S.
My Son thoroughly enjoyed the hour flight experience. His instructor was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. My only suggestion would be to perhaps give a certificate or small momento after the "flight" as a keepsake. Exhibition was interesting. Toilet facilities could be better.
A. C.
Amazing view, something a bit different to do on sunny days
R. P.
This is a great place that has a look at aviation with a little museum that is interactive. You can sit at a mock up of a Boeing and have your photo taken. This was a very interesting place and is next to the cable cars so you get great pictures to while having a coffee in the cafe on site. The shop is reasonable we found which is rare in London these days. All in all 5 stars for this as the staff make it worth while here..........
M. J.
The cable car ride was the highlight of our visit to this place. Weather permitting and if you are upto it, you may try your hand at speed water skiing. Lots of other activities and ride back to London Eye in a water taxi to end a beautiful day out in London.
L. M.
It was a cheap and exciting day out for 3 of us. About £55 , not a lot more (my daughter's treat) Up and down the river from the Wheel to Greenwich as often as we wanted and no queueing. Included was the Emirates Air Line. I was a reluctant lover of the ride which was quite long and mercifully we had a pod per family We also had free access to the museum... there was very little there !! We had cakes and soft drinks in the cafe. Not a memorable eat. All in all a great day.
H. I.
Wonderfull place. A lot adventures. Worth to visit.
r. k.
A pleasant place to visit after going across the Thames. My son really enjoyed it. Didn't take long yo look round.
M. A.
I was given this experience as a birthday present, a slightly apprehensive but wow is an understatement. A great present for those that have had most, this came left of field and to be honest absolutely brilliant. Thank you Jill 😘
A. C.
I took my Father and son here last weekend for a double birthday treat. I had tried to book 3 sessions in two simulators so they could experience both cockpits & I chose this venue as all three of us would be able to share each in other's experience.
Unfortunately I made a mistake and had booked both simulators for the same time slot. This is where the excellent service we received from the staff we encountered made our experience even more extraordinary.
Firstly Jackie who greeted us at the door and was clearly very busy was aware of my mistake and immediately made time to assure us that they would find a way to resolve the situation, called the Manager during which time Jackie discussed with us various aspects of the venue and made us all very informed and relaxed .
Clare the Manger then came and explained that although they needed to do some rearrangements she would ensure that we were able to enjoy what we had requested. She selected what felt like a tailor made instructor.
The instructors name is Wilson a personable young man. His professionalism and ability in making my father and son feel like they were real pilots for that hour and a half will live with all three of us forever.
All three members of staff went beyond that of which would have been expected of them and all three deserve a pay rise, as excellent customer service deserves to be acknowledged acknowledged,. I personally went back and thanked all three them. I hope that everyone is as lucky as we were.
Thanks Jackie, Clare & Wilson.
P.S. The simulators were excellent & I would definitely go again. (Mainly because of the staff as well as I didn't get have a go!)
G. M.
Nice place for some who don't fly tonsee how big is Airbus a380, you can see engine so close. You can see cockpit small souvenir shop and is not very expensive i like. Was free with tickets for cable cars
C. N.
Bird's-eye view of London from the sky....amazing.
D. M.
A good place for a beginner in aviation enthusiast to visit and learn new information about aviation. It is more than just a museum. It is in fact, where you can experience aviation, as its name suggest. Suitable for youngsters and adults. The interactive quiz is presented in interesting mode. I would definitely suggest this place for any aviation enthusiasts. 😊👍
R. P.
Very good experience with my friends
B. B.
We only went in here because it was included in the cable car ticket, but we really enjoyed it. The jet engine and how it worked was done really well and was great to see. Our daughter liked the interactive game of the plane landing and preparation. The type of the baggage was interesting. On the outside it did say fly an A380 but we didn't see that - maybe an old exhibit?
R.
Marketed as an amazing and insightful experience for those that are interested in experiencing what it's like to fly planes. When we arrived we found it was a simplistic simulation that was not worth the money. Perhaps a good attraction for younger families, but not for those expecting full-featured simulator.
However, customer service was amazing, they took the time to listen to our concerns and ensure that we were treated well, that's why it's 3 stars and not 1.
M. M.
Good fun however the experience could have been more realistic if all other controls (not just the main ones) were available to use. Having tried other flight simulator I can say that being able to switch on/off the lights, landing gear, cabin pressure and all the other bits and bobs including cabin vibration makes it more real and you really feel like you are flying a plane!
I. J.
This is one of my favourite tourist spots. One can take a Cable Car ride and enjoy a Panoramic view of whole London. Then take a Ferry ride to Canary Wharf a heavenly ambience for people looking for extraordinary fine dining experience. So u take a fantasy ride in Air,Water and Land.
J. W.
It was a great experience full of information about aeroplanes and some hands on experiences for younger children especially the pilot cockpit though with it being the school half term we had to miss out on some of what was on offer due to it being busy. (The cable car was awesome!!)
L. W.
A great experience and another wonderful view of London
A. H.
Loved it well worthwhile doing and inexpensive
V. B.
Booked this as a birthday present for my daughter. Thought £45 was expensive but didn't realise until she went in that it was for up to 5 people!. Bad website Emirates as it puts many families off. We read other visitors experience on TA who also thought it was a lot to pay. The experience meant that two people sit on the computerised non hydraulic cabin and chairs are available for others. You can swap seats too so it was ideal for our family group. The exhibition is also interesting and the staff helpful. It's not very big but explains a lot of the mystery of air travel and the journey that our luggage takes. Better than we expected and would recommend it.
C. S.
We were ready to visit the cafe in the aviation experience by the time we returned to earth from our aerial experience. Great fun followed by great coffee. There was great snacks and games and trinkets can be bought along side other more expensive related items. There was also the only public toilets I could find. Queueing seemed to be continuous. Oh there was a paid for experience of a cockpit view and simulator for a price. A pleasant stop on a round trip on the cable car.
D. G.
I paid £90 for 1 hour on the simulator. I found it enjoyable but frustrating. Enjoyable because was immersed. Frustrating because explanation of controls could have been much better e.g use a real pointer to point at dials not a light pen. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic but I found the graphics unrealistic. Overall I thought the experience could have been much higher quality for the money
D. M.
Great experience with the family.
A. K.
The overall experience for me was good, this experience gives an insight knowledge about the 2 aircrafts B777 and A380.
The detailed layout structure is nice and bright and well presented with touch screens.
The simulator experience was fun but it could do with some improvement. Such as the feel of more controls, switches etc..
A. U.
Small but interesting exhibition suitable for both young and grown-up kids. Has got some really cool stuff, for example a cockpit where you can pretend to be the captain for a few minutes.
M. S.
Great experience! Beautiful view reasonably priced finicular
T. F.
I'm a 320 captain and it was a great opportunity to show my young kids a bit of what I do on a daily basis. They are static simulators, nothing like full motion trainers. The flaps/speedbrake/sidestick/thrust levers work but it's not designed to show system failures. It's a fun insight. A bit poorly organised but friendly guys who run the sim.
A. B.
A very good and entertaining museum, considering the size of the location there is a lot to learn. Along with the museum there is an additional flight simulator which is £60 for 30 minutes. This seemed a little bit pricey due to the fact that we used the 'Advanced' simulator but it only really had the basic controls and not much else. And possibly due to my career in visuals for live events the blend area between the two projectors really distracted me although that might not bother most people. In all fairness it was an enjoyable hour and a half and I learned a lot but I couldn't see myself spending more than two hours there.
c. m.
£50 for both boat and cable..value for money
W.
It was windy and a bit wobbly but amazing.
P. K.
Cable car was good, The information was interesting but I've had to knock stars off as damaged screen in part about baggage handling, warn out parts on simulation of cockpit with screens off (photo bit not working). The whole place is just in need of maintance. Coffee/gift shop expensive and busy run out of lots of things saved by freindly staff who are run off feet. Whole place needs renovating and more toilets added. Note if seats in simulated cockpit same as rreal 380-800 I can't see pilot going more than 30 minutes before needing a walk round the plane.
S. M.
Very poorly organised. When we arrived, they couldn't find our booking, even though it was shown on thd flight board. The coffee machine was down, so we couldn't have a coffee and even though we were 50 minutes early, our flight was 10 mins late so we had to cut it short because we were on a deadline.
A. S.
It was slot of fun where else can you feel like your actually crashing a plane. On a serious note it's a good experience however I would wait for it to be on Groupon personally other than that I would recommend it to anyone interested.
U. S.
It was good to see and do flight simulation. Rope car was really very nice experience and can see canary wharf and other places from skyline. City airport landing and takeoff was a sight to see. Overall it was a wonderful experience
a. s.
Good views. Nice and clean. Friendly staff
D. M.
It's truly an amazing experience, even for grown ups... You have the same feedback as you are Inthe real airplane... Kids learned quite quickly the main commands and with 30 min experience the two boys have both a chance to be the captain, so they were able to switch the role between captain and the second so no fight between kids... It cost a bit but it is really worth the price.
G. G. A.
Thought it would of been better i.e. simulator would be more interactive. However it was good. Staff were friendly but a bit annoying as they hovered over us like flies. But overal, good experience.
S. H.
The experience itself is brilliant, the simulator feels realistic and the staff are incredibly helpful. However the price is far too high, it's not worth £60, try and get a discount if you can.
N. K.
The aviation museum was good and was included in the package we purchased but i was expecting it to be a bit bigger and also some of the features were of extra cost although they said that the museum was free.
s. h.
Must watchable place
K. C.
Good time killer for the o2. Nice ride, not bumpy. Nice views. Wasn't busy. We just stayed on the same carragie there and back.
V. J.
Excellent views of London, O2, City Airport, river and docks
E. T. (. S. F. H.
As we entered, there was the real Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engine which has been dissected to show you the mechanics and parts that make up this powerful engine. The touch screen interactive display will show you all the information and details of the engine.
both my children love the interactive touch screens to play games and find out information about the airplane. The ‘Be the Baggage’ film was very interesting and takes you on an incredible journey through Dubai’s cutting-edge baggage handling system. There are also plenty of replica A380 economy seats where you find out what happens ‘behind-the-scenes’ on the aircraft during a long-haul flight.
We then went onto the Simulator Experience. The instructor was very patient and kind to us. Love the experience.
J. T.
Not a huge amount to see but worth sticking your head in if you're passing.
M. H.
This place is just amazing we were a family of 12 had a great time if you like aviation then this place is a MUST to visit! I would like to say the staff that we dealt with were so nice (Jackie & Kojo) fantastic customer service also on the day there was nice young lady in Costa friendly too! I should say avoid the French guy boy he was so miserable & not the nicest person (avoid him) especially when we are celebrating a birthday!! Will definitely go back the A380 & 777 were an amazing experience thanku Jackie & Kojo AGAIN!!!!!!
D. S.
Great way to see the different part of London from above. Best time is to go on the weekdays as there wont be much rush and you can get a car to yourself!
r. o.
Fun and a good experience for young kids to have a go on a cockpit plane. Cinematic and fun for everyone. If you ride the cable car you will have a good bird's eye view of Central London
D. C.
Small but interesting museum that was included in the price of the cable car ride. The lady in the cafe was very friendly and the food was good. Also has free wifi
H. J.
This was a great little experience my dad and I stumbled upon after we had been to the O2. Really pleased we went in as big aviation fan and loved looking around. Stopped for a coffee and cake too which was very nice
u. m.
Its alright. A little expensive and location isn't too great.
C. E.
This is one of the best things to do. You have your own pilot to assist you but you are fully in control. Night flight in Hong Kong was a challenge.
H. S.
The views on the cable car are good. The museum lets down the whole experience because there is very few displays and it leaves you feeling you've just paid to be advertised on how great emirates airline is then learning more about aviation.
K. Y.
The aviation experience is the most interesting part of the whole Emirates airlines project in North Greenwich. The view from the gondola is not overly impressive and nothing special about London, maybe just the view of O2 or the city airport. The small exhibition is nice and informative for aviation geeks.
S. K. R.
My wife got me the aviation experience in the cockpit of a 777 for my birthday. This was an amazing experience for me and I would highly reccomend for any aviation enthusiast. We had an instructor I believe his name was Anish, he is an absolute credit to the team. His passion for flight really came through and we learnt a lot from his aviation knowledge. 5/5 👌
M. S.
Great experience, just if you want your family to go with you, they need ticket, which is not expensive but you need to go in the shop and buy it there. Otherwise fun for the whole family.
M. G.
Worth a visit thought there would be more .
But gives you an insight as to how airports work and the experience of getting into the cockpit of an air craft and seeing what the pilot see s when flying.
Watching the baggage rail working and the complex net work is amazing
M. F. (. P.
Very nice experience, it takes 10 minutes and it cost £3, so good value for money, but if you want a breathtaking view of London, well, don't expect too much.
P. D.
Good fun. Being windy made it much better. But definitely far too expensive. Would not recommend. Unless like wasting money.
K. M.
What a day with the kids. Absolutely loved it.
C. B.
Smaller than I expected, and simulators can for some reason only be booked the day before, even though the website suggested some spaces had opened up later in the day - but what I did see was interesting and well presented.
A. J.
I love it. My family had a great time out on our visit. We plan to go back again
S. M.
Yes, I never forget that's amazing experience was i visited 2018 New year DAY and that's time very havey raind but I was enjoyed full of fun with beautiful new year DAY.
M. G.
Worth a visit after you've done the Emirates cable car. Interesting facts about planes and the option to try a flight simulator if you upgrade your ticket.
I. C.
Kids and Adults with time to spend will enjoy this.
Fantastic London views
Friendly environment and super friendly staff.
Tickets are priced reasonably.
H. H.
Grandchildren loved it. Museum waste of time and very annoyingly they charge £16 for the best bit. Therefore you pay twice. Rip off.
S. S.
Great experience and had a fab time with the kids. Def worth going again and such knowledge staff who helped with the flight stimulator experience!
C. S.
Great, and amazing staff very welcoming and helpful.
S. Y. L.
A great place to find out about aviation! There was a game at the back of the room but the touch sensitivity was poor. Walk up the stairs and there is an A380 cockpit where you can take a picture. The simulator costs around £45. I sat in the Boeing 777, I had half an hour and a great instructor beside me. Although the dials are not all real it was very exciting to sit in a cockpit and fly the airplane, it has a range of destinations where you can take off and land. Although it was a bit expensive for the simulator, it was well worth it.
C. F.
Attended the flight simulator excellent birthday treat for my teenage son
H. B.
Today we went to the Emirates Aviation Experience and from the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed, we did the 30-minute simulator experience and learnt a lot about aviation thanks Jackie and a newly qualified pilot. Thank You!
D. K.
Really good. Free entry as part of our trip on the cable cars. Would love to do the flight simulator here. Maybe next visit.
J. H. a. C.
I loved the A380 Mock up simulator and they also have real Boeing 777 simulators too which I'd like to try out one day as the Boeing 777 is my most favourite Aircraft. ☺
O.
Good for one visit. £90 for an hour would be ok if the experience from start to finish was good.
M. Z.
Nice experience that helps you understand flight. Worth a visit. Younger ones will really enjoy it. You can spend a good half hour here
T. S.
Good experience and makes a good gift.
N. O.
Beats the London Eye on price and could have 3 return tickets for the same day if you wanted to spend that amount. And on the clear day that it was the views were excellent
M. W.
Good fun with children, very informative, café, shop, next to south station for cable car. Tickets for simulator are booked online but well worth it!
A. A.
great experience for children
S.
Our daughter enjoyed the hands on equipment. I am glad we didn't pay full price as I would have come away disappointed.
C. B.
Fantastic, one of the best attractions in London, recommend stopping off for a coffee on the other side, love Greenwich, catch the bus to Greenwich Park.
K. W.
Purchase a private cabin no queueing taken straight to cabin.
Very friendly staff would recommend this way good value for money £60
P. T.
Museum mainly for the functioning of aircraft. I feel it's mainly for kids. There is a session for experiencing the aircraft cockpit and it has to be pre booked via online and it is chargeable.
P. A.
Great to learn about how planes work and get some photos of a realistic cockpit.
And you can take the cable car ride just next to it and a walk around the 02.
A. A.
Very nice! Amazing experience with Cheap prices! Kids was super excited!
M. R.
Very well worth the visit if in the London area. Book a simulator experience in advance to secure an opportunity to use it.
M. V.
Good value as it's free to enter if you buy a cable car ticket but not worth it otherwise as it's quite small.
P. O.
A great experience I think it's better than the London Eye friendly staff keep up the good work
M. L.
Nice trip, and very informative. Enjoyed the cable cars...although my husband is still trying to figure out how they work!! Lol !
M. R.
It's good, we had fun but it's very short distance
L. É.
I surprised my husband with the cable car tour for his birthday. It is beautiful and a very good experience.
N. N.
Quite small but a good break and sit down. Looked good if you booked the flight simulators. Kids enjoyed it.
J. S.
Wonderful view of London above Thames. We got a discount on the entry ticket too. A must visit experience
A. D.
Good view on Themse
R. P.
Great for a good time when you like aeroplanes not for the real fanatics, the staff are friendly but inexperienced must say.
L. F.
Excellent experience that came as part of the cable car ride at a small extra - worth it. The kids loved it.
B. K.
Excellent and exciting experience. I would certainly recommend going on the cable ride and visiting the Aviation Centre too.
Z. N.
My kids lived it. An amazing day experience with kids. Don't forget to choose a sunny bright day for adventure.
L. E.
10 outta 10 fantastic staff, friendly and bubbly. Admittedly I only went to the cafe but would definitely come again ;D
t. i.

m.
Great. But break it down minute by minute it's expensive.
E. L.
Loved our visit on the cable car and the museum. Nice little cafe too with friendly accommodating staff.
W.
Staff are brilliant, kids loved the exsperience. Something abit different or getting the kids ready for there first flight abroad.
L. P.
Had a great time on the cable cars, thought the actual experience would of been bigger with a bigger shop but still enjoyed it.
A. B.
Nice cable car cafe doesn't have much choice not much to do either side of the river
A. A.
It is an enjoyable experience. I tried the simulation for the first time in my life, experience how it would be if I pursuit my dream to be a pilot. If you care about aviation it is a must to do experience.
K. E.
Kids had a blast here .They really enjoyed it
J. F.
Brilliant views of London from cable cars, the flight simulators and all the Imformation about flight gives a better understanding of the airline the staff were real friendly and helpful giving the experience that little bit extra

Great experience but do not go if it is windy. ♡

A great place to go if you're in the area. It shows you what you would do if you work for the company. Great simulators and building. Excellent!
S. N.
It's amazing just buy your tickets online and you have a lot of benefits.
A. L.
Fairly disappointing really. Not much to do. Tiny room. It's mainly for flight simulators upstairs which you book or practise your real flying.
A. B.
Its nice place and kids have lots of fun
L. M.
Great views right over the River Thames on cable cars, plus a flight simulator experience where you land an Airbus A380!

Nice place for a tourist visit, great coffee, and by the tames river. After the cable car, you can have an aviation experience.

Not a full simulator, with limited controls and no movement, but an experience nonetheless. The café is great as well.
C. D.
Fantastic, every one was lovely. Good value.
J. C.
Attached to the cable car at Greenwich, this small free museum is worth a visit.
S. L.
Boris may have something to show for his tenure as mayor of London.
But unless you have a oyster it's too expensive.
But London shines
S. Q.
Had lovely sunny day with clear skies so saw amazing sights and really enjoyed it.
H. R.
If you are in LOVE with airplanes this is one of the best experience possible you learn a lot about the Airbus A380 and there are two full size A380 simulators and two B777 simulators which I highly recommend to fly.
