I did not book this hotel, but was redirected there, my email message, from the Grange Clarendon due to Covid complications. However, when I arrived their system had not been updated to reflect the change. It took some time to very that I did indeed have a room there and was eventually give a key to my room. The room was large and comfortable. The phone rang to offer me a complimentary drinks voucher. The hotel is well appointed and has a lift. The complimentary continental breakfast was available from 7.00am and had a good variety of tasty cheeses, meats, eggs, fruits, cereals and croissants. Hot toast was also provided and provided a pleasant conclusion to my stay.

Reasonably priced accommodation for the area when visiting London and located not far from The British museum and other attractions.
The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome, the place is kept very clean and tidy, comfortable beds in the rooms.
Even the breakfast was beautifully cooked first thing in the morning, a little on the small side for the money but tasted very nice.
These staff members really make the place and you guys are great. Thankyou.

Good location, close to the British Museum. Room 14 is in need of some care and attention due to warped paint on bathroom door and some warning signs of black mold developing, not to mention the bed giving me back pain upon waking up. Would argue that the hotel ought to be classed as 3 stars however, its simply not the calibre of hotel I would expect of a 4 star. Staff were professional but don't seem to communicate well internally as we were sent to our room (after the stated check-in time of 3pm) while housekeeping was still cleaning it, leading to us having to take our luggage with us for another couple of hours.

Spent one night in room 15 LG. The staff were very kind and professional. The room was very spacious and a twin room just as requested. We did have an issue with the milk in the room for tea. The milk was out of date. Reception called us to check how the room was and they quickly can with a jug of milk for us. This lady the helped us was incredibly kind and and is deserving of the 4* rating however due to our room’s position (right outside where the bins and rubbish is put) and a few odd quirks in the room (bed was an odd shape, the wires from the tv were showing etc), i have knocked a few off stars. I would however stay there again but perhaps request a different room.

Great stay at the Beauchamp. The hotel is really well located, within walking distance of many of the attractions. The room was comfortable and had the highest cleanliness standard. The staff were really lovely - Sema and Kanchuka in particular! Would stay again.

Despite a botched booking (which was the previous week), the Grange staff were very accommodating and managed to find me a room in the Beauchamp (apparently pronounced Beecham, but I prefer the French pronunciation: Bow-shom).
The room was spacious and clean, and I had a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was a cooked breakfast and was very tasty and a good size.
The staff were very polite and accommodating. I like to stay in the Grange hotels because of the lovely old buildings, and you get a feel for London living, whereas staying in a Travelodge or other modern building you could be anywhere. If I'm in London on business, these are my go-to hotels, just a short walk from Covent Garden an the office.

Lovely hotel, Staff were very accommodating, service was great and breakfast was also great. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious for a townhouse hotel. I would stay here again

A little quirky but that's part of the charm. Great location, and the staff are superb and so helpful. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, got a free upgrade to a massive suite - Very nice 👍. Very helpful staff and very close to leicester squre/Covent garden - about 20-25 min walk

Ideally situated in Central London in a quiet street, next door to the Penn Club which we have used as our base for many years, now, alas, no more, a victim of the Covid restrictions.
The staff unfailingly polite, the English breakfast of a good standard. Room comfortable and clean.
Some niggles, cold water would not flow from the dual option tap so instead we were offered a jug of water with ice cubes.
A tapping noise disturbed our sleep during the second night.
Other than these issues an enjoyable stay.

Brilliant little hotel. Nice continental breakfast with social distancing.
Lovely staff. Our suite was fantastic.

Stayed for 2 nights just after lockdown restrictions were lifted.
The day before arriving we were told we would be moved to the sister hotel, but would get a welcome drink. We messaged to say ok but that we were visiting for a special occasion. No reply.
Arrived at sister hotel, and told we were back at the original hotel....no welcome drink...They had messaged that morning but we hadn't seen it as we were travelling, and they didn't reply to our original message.
Room was ok. Clean but small. On the 3rd floor and lift wasn't working. Shower nice and hot with good water pressure, but cold water tap didn't go cold, just luke warm. No minibar or fridge, and we noticed glasses and room service trays were not cleared on the day we arrived.
Staff were friendly but seemed a little disorganised. Location good.
Overall reasonable for the price paid.

Hotel has good quiet location, very close to The British museum. Room was small but functional. Tea and coffee facilities available. Bathroom was fine. Room was a little tired, the wallpaper damaged in places and cushion covers well worn. Issues were to do with hot water for washing and shaving. On the Saturday we had cold showers in the morning, advised room service who said they would look into it. When we returned in the late afternoon, we were advised that the heating engineer was attending to the issue. We went out for dinner and on our return we were advised that the problem had been resolved. On checking, the water seemed better. In the morning, we were able to have warm showers, which although ok, left us feeling disappointed. We advised the man at the front desk as we checked out that the water was not right. Let's hope they fix the issue for the next clients.

Excellent location and extremely quiet at the same time which is rare in this area of London. Room was clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Only thing to mention was the loud vent that was located in my particular room and right above my bed. This made it difficult to sleep. Hopefully it was only in this room and I can avoid it if I return by requesting a different room location. Did not try the breakfast but it looked decent. Also please consider to put plugs near the bed. This was an annoyance that could easily be rectified.

Attended a training course at this hotel in its meeting room. The staff were consistently lovely, friendly and helpful. The air con was luxurious. The food for lunch was great every day of the course, really delicious. The rooms looked very nice too. The staff really make a difference.

This has been one of my most enjoyable hotel stays! The staff has been absolutely phenomenal, and our family has greatly appreciated their hospitality. We're traveling with two elderly adults in wheelchairs, and upon seeing our group, they made the generous decision to upgrade them to an executive suite! They also made accommodations to put out a permanent ramp in front of the hotel for the duration of our stay. Room service has been attentive and the rooms are comfortable and modern. Breakfast has also been tasty and there is a wide selection of food. I think in general, this hotel has amazing staff and is very comfortable and quiet, and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in…
Great location!!!! I was here on a business trip, and walked pretty much everywhere and was able to relax at night time in a very large comfy hotel room. The staff is exceptionally wonderful, caring, attentive, professional yet friendly. Their restaurant is very good as well! I ate lots of healthy meals! If I would give them six stars If I could!!!
E. W.
For a 4 star hotel I would really have expected more. The location is really the only plus I can say, and the staff is generally nice and OK. The rooms are small, which is to be expected in central London, however, the beds really need changing. The floor is noticeably tilted in the room and our bed was so worn that the feet were noticeably higher than the head. We ended up sleeping the other way to avoid waking up with a headache. Upon check-out, we mentioned this to the staff who just said "oh OK" without any concern. I wouldn't stay here again until a thorough renovation is done.

Lovely over night stay, great staff and really good breakfast

We had a lovely stay here for over a week. A room upgrade on this occasion was a real bonus and much appreciated. Staff delightful helpful an charming. We arrived well before check in time but we checked in and then left our luggage with …

I went to this hotel for a meeting. When we arrived we waited 20 minutes because they had no record of our booking. Then someone arrived who remembered the booking and we finally got into the room. They hadn't ordered any tea or coffee and the room wasn't set out right. It all hit fixed very quickly and the staff were nice but it wasn't the best start to the meeting.
S. H.
Lovely hotel, room was amazing and staff were friendly and helpful. In a great location too. Will definitely stay here again. We stayed in a twin room and it was huge!! Really quiet too which in London is a huge bonus.

Room was small yet comfortable. Odd smell upon arriving (most likely ciggarettes) though this was quickly solved by opening the window for a few minutes. Staff is friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast not adviced. There are a lot of nice cafe's nearby for an equal if not better breakfast. Breakfast at the hotel is pricey too! Overall great hotel. 7-7,5/10
T. M.
We recently stayed at this hotel for a couple nights and while we weren't totally appalled at the place, we most definitely didn't leave with great impressions. Good price range considering London location. We spent most of the day out …
T. M.
Very clean tho. We did not have a peaceful sleep due to constantly being woken up by people/members of staff walking up and down the stairs all night and shutting doors. By London standards it offers good value for money. A 10 minute walk to Covent Garden. We would highly recommend this hotel.
O. N.
Although a fairly small hotel, it's very clean, bright, fairly modern, and in a nice central location. Food was very nice, the staff extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and bright, although due to the arrangement of the building, easily overlooked from the outside. Definitely a worthy contender for anyone looking to stay in central London
T. M.
I was upgraded to a double room and it was SO NICE. Tea Coffee making facilities & flat screen TV There was a newspaper under our door the following morning complimentary a nice touch. Hotel is great for travellers or families who are happy to share a room without going over budget.
S. W.
I stayed on the second floor in the room facing the front of the building (superior double). I found it pleasant enough, but not great.
Room
Contains coffee/tea facilities, bedside tables, bedside lights, power points, desk, safe, SMALL hanger wardrobe, queen size bed (which I found rather short at 6 foot), air con / temp control (but not very good at providing a warm room in winter).
Bathroom.
Fairly sizeable, contains a bath/ shower, has the bath towels, face towels, bath robe, single use toiletries. Goes without saying a toilet and sink too.
What let's it down though is the noise. This can't be helped due to the age of the building. However you can hear people above you walking around, flushing toilet, shower/bath and general movement (next to your room as well). You can also hear traffic and general noise outside as the windows are only single pane sash windows (obviously listed).
Advice : ask for a room at rear of the building and think about taking ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
The rooms are also quite compact too.
Service
Cleaned every day, chocolate left on your pillow, a national geographic and economist magazine to read for the week as well.
Breakfast
They have cereal, English breakfast, continental breakfast, yoghurt, fruit, croissants and other pastries. So a good selection to choose from. However, I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the English breakfast for the price!
Choice of fruit juices, teas and filtered coffee to drink as well with condiments for the toast (marmite, honey, jams, marmalades).
Restaurant
They have this service as well but I wasn't really impressed with the curry option as it lacked flavour.
Have a public use computer for internet / email too.
Location
This is ideal for walking distance of the major attractions / areas too.
H. D.
Staff were excellent, we got upgraded upon arrival....great start!
Room was a huge Junior suite. Bed was comfortable, as was the sofa, only small feedback would be I felt room needed a refurb.
All in all a good stay, would recommend.
H.
Nicely decorated rooms, if a little small. Lovely toiletries and good coffee/ tea facilities. Some minor faults which could do with correcting, like cracks in the bath etc. Very helpful staff. Great continental breakfast, one of the best I've had. Fab location.
L. A.
Great location, very very close to the fantastic British Museum. Hotel is good value, if a little dated. The bed I slept on was comfortable, there was a kettle and an iron in tge corridor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The tap water was a little warm to drink and tgere was no bottled water provided. The TV was a bit rubbish but I wasn't there to watch TV!
K. V.
The hotel was good and staff was nice as well. Only problem was there is no AC so you have to keep the windows open all night to quite a noisy street. Dinner and breakfast were alright.
N. I.
Place was OK. Close to the Russell park station just across the park. Hotel is more of a 3* with a reasonable sized room but is in onder of the b&b style places in London. Breakfast was very basic. I stayed in the room below reception and was very disturbing as the floor is creaky even people walk on the entrance level.
T. M.
Great location near museum but not in a loud, busy area. Suite was large and very roomy. I appreciate staff are working 24 hours a day but I think a little consideration is needed for those in rooms near the stairwell. Thank you very much to all, and will look forward to staying with you again during our next visit to London.
M. D.
Clean, elegant and central. Literally five minutes away from the British Museum, on foot. The staff is welcoming and ready to help with any information or request. The breakfast buffet is rich and delicious, and as a cherry on top, it is in a very quiet area, with minimum traffic during the night.
T. M.
All the areas and the room were very clean. Having booked a superior double room I expected a decent sized room well I was wrong. Value for money. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in an active part of Central London who plans on visiting the sights.
C. P.
More than what we expected. Staff were extremely helpful and made our family's experience even more pleasant. The family room was perfect for us. It was clean with all the amenities.
S.
Really good location and good sized rooms. Have stayed in similar places at similar prices and had rooms half the size, definitely a bonus. We could seem to figure out the heating/air con and our room seemed to get very warm during the night. We had a room overlooking the street so had a bit of occasional noise from cars beeping and such but not much. The continental breakfast was included in our room and it's pretty much what you'd expect, nothing special but nice. The location is definitely a plus here, in the middle of Holborn and Russel Square stops and walking distance to Covent Garden and Euston station. (About 15 minutes either way)
J. K.
It started raining in my bathroom. A nice feature for a minute. Then, they said they were booked up for the night and couldn’t move me. See pics, and screenshot from the video I took. Carpet soaked when it started pouring down the wall. I’m very disappointed in this hotel. REVIEW EDIT: They moved me the next morning into a room that didn’t rain from the ceiling, and a free upgrade on my extended stay. I’m happy with this turn of events.
T. D.
Stayed here because there was no water in sw17 after the Thames Water pipe burst. Booked last minute on the evening for just £75 online, our room was upgraded as it was a quiet night and they supplied us with complimentary water. Great to know a London hotel looks after Londoners when there are local issues with the water pressure.

I’m traveling with my brother. This hotel is nothing too fancy but the staff is very nice and the room was quite comfortable. Great location. Good price. I would stay here again.
T. M.
We had just a fabulous stay at the Grange Beauchamp Hotel. The room was very quiet, we all had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. We would not hesitate to book the Grange Beauchamp againthank you to the staff for a memorable visit.
P. B.
Bed was not level, sloped towards headboard and also dipped in centre.. TV was stuck in 4:3 mode despite being capable of 16:9 it was impossible to select this.
Staff are very nice and friendly and hotel is in a quiet and good location.
P. D.
Stayed here before and enjoyed each time. Good value for money, comfortable, clean rooms and professional staff. Good location to walk to lots of attractions, theatres and restaurants.
B. L.
Lovely hotel in a great location. Some of the fixtures show some signs of ware but nothing serious. Spotless cleanliness and friendly staff.
N. S.
One of the good rated hotel chain's hotel, located in peaceful street but main market road is just 5 minutes away. Near to Holborn Tube station. Located centrally, can walk to Piccadilly, oxford street, Covent garden walking from hotel. Hotel is clean, rooms are daily cleaned, beds are comfortable, rooms are good for family as well as bachelors as well. Breakfast are good with great variety. Hash browns are must. However, reaching to your room would be a task if you are allotted in below ground floor, you have to literally cross 4-5 doors to reach to your room. Rest is very good. They can offer room service to carry luggage to room if they have single girl/women guest. Carrying luggage and crossing floors and several doors is bit tiring..lol
H. S.
Very nice and a copy hotel. Rooms are small but clean and very cosy. Staff is mostly east European but very friendly and helpful. Hotel is at a walking distance from Hollborn station and British museum is again just a 5 mins walk.
E. W.
We got upgraded to a superior room for free because we were there for a birthday weekend - room was massive and bathroom likewise. Were also brought complimentary cake to our room for the same reason. Staff very polite and eager to please. There was free wi-fi (maybe a change since older reviews), although there was a pay service available if you wanted dedicated bandwidth.
Hotel well-situated just around the corner from the British Museum. We walked to it from St Pancras in 15 minutes, but it is also close to Russell Square tube.
If we were to have any gripes, it would be that the heating was over-enthusiastic (we were there in January, but it felt tropical in our room). We could also hear faint music from the bar as our room was above it, but not so as to disturb us.
I. S.
This was a great hotel for a single night in London in one of their small cabins. Quiet, well located, comfortable beds, and good service rounded it all out. I paid $69 USD for a night in March 2017.
s. d.
Lovely clean room and staff are all excellent. Very polite and helpful.
L. N.
Great location down a quiet street 10mins walk from Covent Garden. Nice big rooms but unfortunately we had a room in the basement directly under reception and could hear the staff and guests walking across the lobby all night so did not get a good night's sleep. Continental breakfast ok
R. E.
Small room with king size bed. Fine for our stay
R. J.
Hotel was ok but put in a room next to outside air conditioning unit so noisy all night + could not turn off air con in room when it got too noisy. Food was good and staff very polite
H. Y.
Overall it was very good experience, the staff were mostly friendly . Had some trouble during the first 2 to 3 days with internet connection to whatsapp myself and my colleague we couldn't make calls, it was inconvenient specially because we didn't have UK numbers and very much reliant on communication via social media. But it was finally resolved. I would stay there again but I will confirm internet connection.
J. S.
Superb location, close to tube and local bars and Covent gardens. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was massive for the money, with a small balcony overlooking the street with a large bathroon and the usual facilities. If needed would use again.
M. F.
Fantastic hotel. Very clean and tidy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend and would stay there again. 5*
J. O.
We stayed there while finishing up a 3 week trip to the UK. It was your basic average business hotel. Nothing special. The best reason to stay there is the proximity to the British Museum.
K. V.
Incredible stay! They took care of us and made our stay very special. Since it was our honeymoon they treated us extra special. The rooms were incredible and the staff was helpful.
A. W.
Nothing really wrong with the place. Comfortable and good value. Could do with a revamp because the windows are single glazed and have gaps in them to the outside. However, they are probably restricted on what they can do in that area (planning rules, etc)
A short walking distance from Euston Station, British Museum and Tottenham Court Road.
J. H.
Good hotel, nice prestation. Nice people welcome you for check in, the rooms are clean, cosy. You can chill out and relax properly after a long walking day in London's streets.
S. C.
Visited for a business meeting. Easy location to find from tube. Good welcome and good coffee. Lunch buffet was quite basic and mixed vegetarian with non vegetarian sandwiches although there was also a small plate of separate veg sandwiches.
J. B.
Nice hotel...clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfasts were very good. Quiet street if London.
