Great art work, would recommend for anyone who loves art. Staff were really friendly and had amazing knowledge about questions I had.
Free entry for a year as well if you get your ticket stamped so definitely coming back again, as could spend hours staring at the amazing art works in the gallery. And the gift shop had to many deals and items available too. So go check it out if your In the area, it's definitely worth your money.

It is a great venue for a day out alone or in the company of friends or family (Covid restrictions allowing). There are many interesting Royal portraits and art by artists with Royal connections. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed the possibility of visiting the surrounding park too.
M. D.
Excellent exhibitions of the Royal Collection--thought through and well presented. You can convert your ticket into an annual pass, which is well worth it.
M. S.
The Queens Gallery is right-sized for exhibitions. Large enough to give a good array, but not so large as to tire one. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the artworks top quality or have a good story. Masterpieces was an array fine paintings (most, but not all, being masterpieces), Flemish and Italian, with a accompanying commentary on a select number.
D. M.
Small but intimate gallery. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Also, there's a 1 year free pass for every entry ticket that can be used in the next exhibition - great little place
A. B.
I particularly visited to see a special exhibition of Holocaust survivors portraits commissioned by HRH The Prince of Wales. Very well laid out, rooms were easy to move around. Good selection of 'Old Dutch Masters' also to be viewed. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
D. D.
Soooo enjoyed our visit to see the holocaust survivor paintings. They were magical. I was very emotional as the painter had captured their very souls. Well worth seeing.
M. L.
Beautiful immaculate venue. Helpful staff. And most of all, the opportunity to see a collection of paintings in one location, beautifully presented and preserved despite being hundreds of years old.
L. W.
The Seven Portraits of Surviving the Holocaust, which was commissioned by The Prince of Wales is on show now. Also on show are the master pieces from Buckingham Palace, it is worth a trip to The Queens Gallery.

This is not an ordinary place ,but a place which consists of history and the great British past .the price is really affordable and every tourist should pay a visit to this unique British Gallery. Not only do you admire the magnificent premises and priceless sculptures ,but also you can be easily informed about the whole history section by means of headphones and video staff which are provided on the entrance .Moreover ,you must not miss the wonderful souvenirs which are the best gift for your beloved family members or friends and accompany the gallery .Last but not least ,we shall respect that London is the heart of the globe and should be kept clean again and again .
S. D.
Gallery shop - Varieties of gift items, went during February half-term for Leicester school, no wait time, not busy at all, had a nice walk around and children obviously wanted to get all the stuff in the stores, nice and welcoming staff.
P. I. B.
Fantastic exhibition of master paintings coupled with brilliant staff makes this a great place to visit 🥰
M. S.
Love the art and the regular high quality shows but if I'm being honest I think the exhibitions of the Royal collection should be free.
J.
This is always a great little gallery but the 'Seven Portraits Surviving the Holocaust' now on show are outstanding - wonderful portraits, incredible stories.
C. H.
Wonderful! Exquisite paintings. Just perfect.
K. R.
Absolutely amazing place, exhibition and staff are so friendly. Can't wait to go back to see the next exhibition.
S. W.
Anyone who loves art must go to the Queen's Gallery and look at the outstanding paintings on display there.
If you get the opportunity to listen to any of the short talks, please do as they are very informative and the audio guides are fantastic. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
D. S.
It's lovely seeing the temporary exhibition, but I was disappointed with the gallery itself. I was coming to Buck Pal, and expected to see some grand architecture etc. But the gallery space etc was just bland.
D. P.
We went to the Queens Gallery on a recent trip to London. With the London Pass we only had to go in and buy tickets, and then wait for out time slot. They did do a very good job at giving us options. Especially given there was a wait they told us to go run to the royal mews and back. Something that worked perfectly for our schedule.
The actual gallery is pretty small. It was kinda cramped inside, and there were a couple of times I was slightly squished. I do understand why they have to limit entry.
Overall the gallery was clean, and well lit. The actual exhibit that was on when we were there was strange. It was mostly all drawings.
Worth a visit if you like art, or have already purchased the London Pass, but otherwise I would pass.

Opportunity to view private royal art collection, in quiet surroundings

Masterpieces exhibition.
Excellent. Brilliant audio visual commentary. Paintings superb. Lighting perfect. Can't recommend highly enough.
P. S.
Nice collection of items related to queen.
I. M. M.
Very nice and helpful staff. Thanks to Sarah and Paul, who made easy for me to enter. I had booked online for a visit on sept 2020. With the Covid, I had to cancel my trip. But fortunately they let me in. I always appreciate their exhibitions.
D. C.
Booked our tickets in advance and there are 3 large rooms with amazing paintings to see from Rembrandt and Caneletto for example. Definitely take an audio guide and if you are there, listen to the free talks. Engaging and interesting curator discussing one of the specific paintings. There are good toilet facilities here as well as a gift shop.

I do enjoy visiting all of London's galleries and museums, and this little one tucked away next to the Palace truly was amazing. Hosting exhibits from the Royal Collection and from other sources - it proved to be quite a pleasant afternoon activity!
When I visited, they were currently presenting their exhibit on Russia - with some artworks that frequently show up in historical documentaries and books on the subject of the Romanovs. As a bonus, they also were exhibiting photos from the Crimean War.
Audio guides were available for free, and while small, it still took me quite a while to get through, as it was quite easy to just stand there and take it all in
j. j.
I went to the store to pick up pre ordered China for Christmas presents. every person I met in that store was a ray of sunshine. The lovely lady on the door was so friendly and welcoming, the lady who retrieved my order, Vienna, was a joy, she obviously loves her job and it shows. Anyone who wants to know about customer service should go buy a suvignier at this store. Thanks Ladies!

Selected items from the Royal Collection on display at the Queen's Gallery. The current exhibits from the Prince of Wales' tour of India contains some amazing objects. Very good value if you live in or visit London frequently as then entry fee gives access for 12 months from the date of your visit.
d. j.
Great gallery, with changing exhibitions from the Royal collection.
Some fantastic things.
The building itself is pleasant, with a large shop.
Audio guides are included in the cost of admission.
Tickets can be used for a year.
C. H.
Certainly a magical place. Just wish we had the opportunity to take a tour of Buckingham Palace but they have not done them for more than a year and a half. The palace is currently under a 10-year construction plan and they are five years into it.
A. M.
A stunning space and with currently The Splendors of South Asia exhibit. The exhibit contains many beautiful treasures as you would expect for the Queen's gallery. Certainly above par when compared to other similarly sized exhibits.
P. M.
I visited for the Da Vinci exhibit and along with the multi media guide it was very interesting and I really enjoyed it. There was a small queue to pick up prebooked tickets, luckily I wasn't far off my entry time so got to go in straight away. Going through security was easy, my bag went through a scanner and I stepped through a detector. You pick up the media guide at the top of some steps then into the exhibit through the left hand door. It's a busy exhibit so it was difficult at times to see the drawings, the occasional oblivious person would block the view or step in front of you but mostly people were considerate. I used the toilets while I was there, everything was clean and tidy but the lock didn't work adequately and someone opened my door while I was using the facilities. Then at the end I tried to get my ticket stamped to 1 year pass but the person I asked must have misunderstood, just waving me towards the exhibit. A minute or two later she asked if I needed anything, then I got it stamped. The shop was well stocked and a wide variety of items.
D. A. M. M.
One of my life's best visited galleries. All the painting collections are one of its kind. Either advanced life, Eternal, Mythology, Future, Faith, etc... All are under collection
N.
The Queen's Gallery is Amazing! The ticket cost 13.50 £. The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection.
T. a.
Always good value and particularly so after being closed for so long. The pictures are choice, particularly the Dutch masters, and Artemisia Gentilesci's self portrait, which must be one of the greatest pictures in the Royal Collection. The staff are especially to be commended for their enthusiasm, friendliness and helpfulness.
F. B.
Always interesting and beautiful exhibitions. Stunning building itself with an incredible history. Don't forget to have your ticket stamped for the yearly pass.
v. K.
The staff are excellent and attended to what I was wanting very quickly. Good service and a lovely museum the paintings were fantastic, we had a talk about Rubens and that was good too.
M. G.
When we visited there was a collection of 65 paintings. It was a very cold day so it was nice to go inside. Otherwise not a must.

Excellent exhibit. The building, interior and it's architecture is fascinating. There's this clock that is amazing. Great visit.

Saw the paintings of the holocaust people extremely interesting .

It definitely deserve a visit if you are around Buckingham palace. Interesting journey through the Victorian dynasty that influenced more than 60% of European monarchies of the . Price is 13.5 pounds, 23 if combined with the royal mews visit. You have it for free with the London pass.

Excellent place, beautiful paintings very well explained on the gree audio. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our visit.
M. B.
The Leonardo da Vinci exhibition was wonderful and the fact that you can upgrade your ticket for free to membership for a year is a huge bonus... love it
M. L.
It’s not for everyone - but if you are the kind of person that buys a ticket for an art exhibit you will not be disappointed
It is a unique look into the unfinished work and sketch book work of Leonardo
The audio tour gives much insight into his Carreer and misc life’s work
Provides a new respect for Leonardo
M. W.
A truly stunning display of pieces from the Royal Collection, with over 500 items of Russian origin in the collection it would have been nice to see more of Queen Alexandra's faberge animals all based on animals from Sandringham.
J. T.
Loved both exhibitions
S. R.
Great space show-casting a wonderful collection of art and other things. They provide headphones to listen to their audio tour, and it's very fancy. They give you a narration and description of the most popular art pieces. There's restrooms and a souvenir shop. There's also a small room for kids, and if I remember correctly sometimes they have small events there. And best of all they let you take pictures!
T. C.
Great afternoon out at the queen's galleries to see the da Vinci exhibition which is on currently. Excellent selection of work from one of the most prolific, artist / designer / creatives the world has ever seen and at a reasonable price. The art is amazing and well worth the visit.
The gallery rooms themselves are quite disappointing with the spaces not living up to the work they hold. They seem very small for the amount of work they hold and people they pack in. This makes it feel very crammed and uncomfortable, shoulder to shoulder constantly with other guests. The walls remind you of a primary school classroom and the frames don't help. Lighting is also very poor, not complementing the art on show. The staff were great apart from one lady called May who was very rude and unwelcoming, phrasing everything as a demand.
S. S.
Remarkable exhibition space and ofcourse the exhibition as well.
R. D.
Very fine exhibition, and they even use Molton Brown soap in the Gents /Ladies and have great cloakroom staff
A. e. A.
Impressive collection in a Historic environment, woven with English history.
T. S. T.
King George IV exhibit was quite nice. Loved seeing the Rembrandt paintings and other lovely pieces of art.
C. B.
Good if you like art. But pricey for what you get - £16 in my case for basically three (large) rooms of paintings. Try the Wallace Collection first, it's free and has a nice cafe too, which the Queen's doesn't have.
J. H.
Wonderful exhibition of masterpieces. I have been twice now as a reprise is free with the ticket to the first trip. The audio guide is good, and the pictures wonderful.
H. M.
The current exhibit was DaVinci drawings owned by the Royal Trust, many of which have never been displayed before. A wonderful exhibit, nicely curated, well worth a visit. Plan on 1.5 hours to thoroughly see the drawing, read the captions and absorb the magnitude of DaVinci creativity.
A. M.
Magnificent exposition of Leonardo da Vinci's drawings. Easy admission and at £13,50 full price for an adult, I would consider it very affordable.
j. W.
Brilliant to see the masterpiece paintings so close, very knowledgeable guides and excellent audio description
R. V.
A great exhibition of some masterpieces from the Queen's collection. For me, the Ruben's, the Claude Lorraine's and the Canaletto's were the best.
M. S.
Beautiful gallery with beautiful exhibitions
J. H.
Went to the Queens Gallery for the latest exhibition - Charles II. Though on the small side, absolutely wonderful and interesting. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful...a great morning
A. W.
Wonderful unmissable exhibition of masterpieces from royal collection. Canaletto, Titian, Reubens to mention 3 of the many artists featuring. Expensive to get in but you can have your ticket validated which allows free entry for 12 months. Superb high quality shop and luxurious loos. You would love it.....the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.
Z. a.
A great organized gallery, for rembrandt’s fans
R. M.
Thoroughly enjoyed. Wonderful collection. The exhibit was beautiful and informative.
P. B.
Visited the Queens gallery while the Da Vinci exhibition was on and really enjoyed it. I'm not a particular lover of art, but the gallery takes you on a journey of Da Vinci's life from apprentice where his main interest was painting through to anatomy, to botany to cartography to military invention to his final days where he was haunted by visions of a tempestuous end to the world. The gallery provides audio descriptions of key exhibits via a handheld device you can pickup at the entrance. The whole tour took a couple of hours (at a leisurely pace) and it was thoroughly enjoyable!
M. B.
The current show is the "Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace", and they truly are.
There are three rooms; in my opinion the first two featuring Dutch/Flemish art are the most impressive. I stayed for about 2½ hours, during which time, I caught two 5-minute talks about individual works, which were great: informal but informative and added greatly to the visit.
Room 1: Dou to Vermeer - Paintings from the Dutch Golden Age displaying scenes of everyday life
Room 2: Rubens, Rrbrandt and van Dyck
Room 3: Italian paintings from 1510 - 1740.
Entry is £16.00 for an adult with standard concessions available. Its hard to think of anyone less in need of my hard earned cash than HM, but I put republican principles aside and was glad I did because these paintings are truly the best examples of their period. You can get a member of staff to endorse your ticket, which gives further free admission until the end of the year. (ID is required to reuse the ticket, so don't get any ideas about passing it on).
A word about the staff: they're truly helpful and knowledgeable. You can linger, retrace your steps, and you're met with friendly smiles the whole way. You leave feeling your visit was valued and that's rare for such a heavily touristed venue. Exceptional service. They've recruited a great team and trained them well. [I wish who ever trains them moves on to Westminster Abbey, where staff hostility to visitors is palpable].
M. A.
An amazing art gallery with special and unique pieces from the collecrion of the palace ✨ 🖼🎨👩🎨👨🎨🔥
B. S.
This is a small gallery of part of the Queen's collection of paintings, generally each exhibition has a theme. A chance to see high quality paintings that are rarely seen. The attached shop brings all things royal to a whole new level.
D. I.
We visited an amazing Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. What a talent and genius he was! Many exhibits were exhibited with fairly informative descriptions. Free audiogides in most common languages available. And the coolest thing was that entry ticket could have been upgraded to yearly pass. So definitely going to another events.
M. G.
You need to see this ! Rembrand, Rubens, Van Dyck ... 5 Stars
H. S.
Great gallery, excellent value. Ask for your ticket to be stamped and you can go back as many times in one year as you like! Good quality gift shop too. Well worth a visit and the exhibitions change regularly.
m. w.
Went to see the Da Vinci exhibition. Da Vinci left his drawings to his student who passed them on to someone else who had them bound in a book. One volume came to the UK and was acquired by Charles 1 and entered the Royal collection. The drawings have been removed from the book so they can be individually mounted and displayed. This exhibition shows these drawings. It’s on until 13th Oct to mark the 500th anniversary of his death.
Truly amazing.
It’s busy so allow at least 90minutes to get round and you could easily spend longer if you study each one...
Best to book ahead of your visit.
K. F.
Last time we saw Botticelli which was excellent. This time we went to a superb exhibition of Leonardo Da Vinci. We had a great time. Didn't wait long in the queue and it was very cheap. Lovely building and surroundings. A nice treat.
T. K.
We saw the Da Vinci exhibit... it was awesome to behold!
His artistry is phenomenal. His insight into the science of the natural world and of human biology is, and was at his time, unparalleled!
T. C.
Great exhibition, loved the talk on headphones about the artwork, some excellent works of art, Rembrandt, Reubens, Vermeer, Canaletto, all superb. Beautiful. 🙌
M. W.
The current collection is brilliant. Fabulous examples of Dutch Golden Age and Venetian art of the 17th and 18th centuries. Excellent talk available at midday too. A real treat!
J. M.
Good balance of paintings from the Queen's private Collection. However, one gallery not open at the moment and it is rather expensive.
J. L.
A chance to see the queen's art collection buy a ticket and use it all year, there is always an interesting exhibition on

F. C.
Amazing place! Great exhibitions and a great opportunity to know the royal collection. That male lavatory is unique.
D. S.
The Queen has an amazing art collection and this is the gallery that showcases them in themed exhibitions that are always well curated and thought. Highly recommend.
W. R.
Fantastic tour left by tour guide Lynn. Really fascinating and a must-do!
R. H. M. B. H.
Absolutely astonishing place, one of the best gallery you can find in London, the gift shop is great and you can find many things like Prosecco, Gadgets even Jewelry
Staff are very gentle and they have high knowledge in customer service.
I'll definitely go again to get more stuff
Also got a Corgi Peluche, it's adorable!
D.
What a fantastic collection of of Leonardo Da Vinci drawings. Visitors are able to take photographs.
M. R.
Recomend to get tickets online. You can walking for 2 hours.Really recommend to visit this place.Good variety of arts and perfect service.
A. W.
Great exhibition. Thought it was a bit odd seeing thr Royal Cypher had been added to bottom corner of many drawings
K. H.
Busy, but not overcrowded as they require reserved time slots, at least while we were there for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibit, going on through October 13th, 2019 (if you miss it, it's traveling to Holyroodhouse Palace in Edinburgh Nov. 22, 2019 - March 15, 2020). Apparently they haven't shown all of these sketches at once since the 1950s, so this was an obvious must-see while we were in London. Audio guides were provided for free, and cost check was free as well. We paid £13.50 per regular adult ticket. Book in advance!
P. P.
Amazing place, don't seem like your in the palace seems more like a museum, shame can't take pictures for memories.
d. c.
Excellent George IV exhibit... well worth visit
J. K.
A stunning window into the Queen's art collection. An interesting and informative display of artistic masterpieces.
R. G.
Outstanding Leonardo drawings collection. Extraordinary. The shop is fun too!
L. G.
Nice little house 🏡🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣a must visit purchase ticket early, set for a time and date. Price is high.
J. W.
Wonderful selection of renaissance and baroque painting. Super helpful staff in a great setting.
E.
Fabulous! Great art, lovely Buckingham Palace location, not in the least crowded.
D. W.
Lovely building but Disappointed by bad organisation and boring exhibits
J. C.
Saw the paintings of the holocaust people extremely interesting .
E.
Interesting seeing how QE2 & Prince Philip are (distantly) related (see photo 'family'🌳tree) but the Romanov exhibition didn't float my boat/lacked impact.
Whereas the Crimea war reporting carried the experience and spoke to me more so, touching seeing the painting of a wounded veteran cradling his daughter.
Free for Armed forces after midday (plus 4 guests per ID card 😉)
h. j.
Amazing experience and very well organised. I've never been able to get up so close to masterpieces. It's an experience of a lifetime and well worth the entry fee.
A. N.
Just a snapshot of the Queen's collection of paintings. If you like art, its well worth the visit.
D. J.
Very enjoyable and interesting special exhibition on at present featuring Masterpieces that normally hang in Buckingham Palace.
M. G.
Helpful staff, granson late for timed tickets, no problem. I expected furniture and pictures based on pre publicity. There was no furniture but art was interesting.
J. M.
Wonderful experience, the family audio information was interesting and fun, the gardens were beautiful and the garden cafe served very tasty food and a super cup of tea at reasonable prices
K. B.
Beautiful in the places you could actually see and visit as the queen was in residence
י. ב. ז.
An interesting tour and the staff is amazing, kind, funny and professional.
M. H.
Some fantastic works of art, especially the Dutch masters. The colours and realism by Rembrandt are amazing given they are 400 years old.
B. A.
Very nice old paintings.

The Queen's Gallery is a public art gallery at Buckingham Palace, home of the British monarch, in London. It exhibits works of art from the Royal Collection (those works owned by the King or Queen "in trust for the nation" rather than privately) on a rotating basis; about 450 works are on display at any one time.
The gallery is at the west front of the Palace, on the site of a chapel bombed during the Second World War, and first opened in 1962. Over the following 37 years it received 5 million visitors, until it was closed between 1999 and 2002 for extension work carried out by John Simpson. On 21 May 2002, the gallery was reopened by Elizabeth II to coincide with her Golden Jubilee. The extension added the current Doric entrance portico and several new rooms, more than tripling the size of the building. It is open to the public for much of the year.

We enjoyed the visit
D. M. B.
The opulence of the Romanovs, reflected by the Windsors (Schleswig-Holstein-Biederburgs) right royal gallery.
A. T.
Temporal and regular expositions are great
These photos are from Da Vinci drawings
G. C.
A little taste of Palace no booking needed to visit the gift shop
A. L.
Great place to visit
Z. H.
We came again to see the fabulous George IV exhibition. The objects on display are outstanding and all have a direct connection to the King. Allow at least 2 hours for a good look. Now is the perfect time to go as it is so quiet.
M. B.
Leonardo da Vinci's drawings, the selection was amazing. Weak point: audio guides in english only.... really? Not professional for a turistic town such as London. Still in Europe or not?
A. U.
We saw the superb exhibit of Leonardo’s drawings. A must see for any fan of Da Vinci.
S. P.
Excellent collection of Art. Must visit.
S. L.
Excellent exhibition.Beautiful building, helpful and friendly staff.Very interesting and very professional.Well worth the visit.

Not exactly what I expected, but one to cross off the bucket list. Good access via public transport or tour buses. Expect big crowds on the weekends.
M. A. (.
Lovely exposition of Lonardo da Vinci drawings
P. S.
Beautiful. Lots to see if you are a fine art enthusiast.
M. W.
There are a lot of elegant souvenirs which are worth to buy
C. T.
Great place showing wonderful exhibitions. Current (Jan 2022) is some of masterpieces normally in the Picture gallery in Buckingham Palace.
B. P.
Wonderful works of art on display and free audio commentary. X
E. D.
Loved walking and learning about the long history between the Russians and the English
T.
Royal collection around 60 paintings to see. You can find here paintings of Rembrand, Canaletto, Van Dyck, Titian etc. Highly recommended.
R. I.
Ticket price is too high comparing the resources they offer!
D. Y.
Boring...could be better than that as a royal collection...didn’t have that WoW amazing expression...
i. c.
Today visited the recently opened new Collection exhibition. Mostly 17th C and mostly Dutch and Flemish masters, with some Italian, collected by George IV. The Vermeer, Rembrandts and Rubens were highlights. A very good little show.
W. G.
A wonderful exhibition in a grandiose setting !
A. C.
Wonderful experience! Efficiently managed large number of visitors. friendly & courteous. Very informative and fascinating. Loved being able to walk in the gardens and take a royal cup of tea! The shop is extremely tempting too! Lovely to think my ticket lasts for a year... I will be back
P. E.
Wonderfully curated exhibition - George IV Art and Spectacle. Paintings, china, furniture, cartoons, costumes and more. A very good audio visual and helpful staff. Not many visitors, which was good for us, but not so good for them. Do go, you won't be disappointed
P. C. i. l. Y.
Happy to served United kingdom as our most safe tourism place
v. v. a.
An extraordinary collection of the most relevant painters of the Art History
A. E.
Good exhibition space which has informative displays and lit well. Audio guides are also straightforward and add to the visit with additional information without being gimmicky. Well worth a visit and you can get your ticket stamped at the end so you can make further visits for free for a year. Some very good exhibits are held in the Royal Trust so they have new exhibitions 3-4 times a year.
M. K.
Saw Leonardo da Vinci exhibition here. Fantastic and they have a great shop.
D. M.
A fantastic gallery with excellent exhibitions, largely drawn from royal collections. Good ticket policy, one ticket, if one gets it stamped, can be used for any exhibition for a year. Well worth the price.
A. J.
Must visit place in London, but check the visitor hour schedule before going there.
A. Y.
Beautiful place and very informative session.
I. H.
A really pleasant visit to the wonderful Leonardo da Vinci exhibition. We had booked tickets and numbers admitted were limited which was great as not too crowded and plenty of time to view the drawings. Staff were discreet and courteous. Really enjoyed it!
T. R.
If you have a love of all things Indian don't miss this current offer
J. C.
Great experience, recommended to anyone although we did buy the garden tour add on and couldn’t enjoy it due to weather. Cafe is fine (not spectacular) but much needed at the end of the tour. I would note there aren’t restrooms/toilets along the tour so you do have to wait until after the tour to use the facilities. Overall a must do for anyone who likes interiors, architecture, history, or art (not just Royals).
F. H.
Beautiful, lovely staff, all very polite. The Da Vinci exhibition is stunning and such a fantastic display of the Royal Collection. I did take pictures but I don't want to spoil the exhibition so I just added one. Highly recommend a visit and ticket prices are very reasonable. Free cloak room which is very handy as it was warm in the exhibition rooms. Only small issue is that it was very busy, but it is London and that is to be expected.
g. c.
It's an all time classic tourist trap. I mean, it is a shop where different items (more or less useful and more or less beautiful) but all somewhat connected to the royal family are for sale. I guess if you are in London as a tourist you should pass by and decide by yourself how long you should stay and if you should buy
R. B.
Really nice to vist, great selection of pictures, well worth a vist
S. K.
Very security aware but friendlier than airports. Excellent exhibitions of unique items from the Royal collection. As a regular visitor I make my ticket a donation and can visit as many times as I like for a year. Prices are quite reasonable compared with exhibitions at major London galleries and museums.
R. B.
Nice collection of the Dutch school and the Italian school of painting..
R. L.
I loved seeing these parts of the palace! So so beautiful! It was exhausting waiting in such long lines! If I've purchased a ticket in line I shouldn't have to wait in line to have my voucher scanned. You should be able to scan it at the door. There should be places in the palace that it should be ok to take photos!
D. K.
Great place if you like hestory of Queen

Definitely worth it! It would be great if they could add more interesting historical tidbits to the tour, like older apartments and clothes, but overall very worth your while. The palace is very airy and bright, and we see a lot of famous spots around the grounds.

Over 500 million dollars worth drawings of leonardo Da Vinci at display
D. I. M.
When I went there it was on display a collection symbolising the relations between Britain and Russia. There were many great items, the rooms were stunning, the paintings were quite a contrast to those in the National Gallery. I enjoyed the experience, though I would recommend one should go there after purchasing the London Pass since this is one of those attractions that I wouldn't deem essential and the price does add up in the end.
N. B.
The current exhibition of some of the works of Leonardo Di Vinci are excellent, it's amazing how much and how varied this artists work is and how well it has been preserved. You do have to purchase timed tickets in advance and when we went it was busy, but well worth the security checks and the number of people in the galleries.
J. G.
Very interesting important to keep safe in this country. The paintings are mind blowing like they had been painted today vivid colours. Bringing the past to life. Fascinating Royal history. Beautiful rare ornaments and relicks. Such a sad ending to a lovely friendly time in the Russian Royal family and British Royal connections.
T. A. A.
An excellent smaller gallery. The exhibitions are generally lovely and historically educational. There's usually an entertaining free 10-15 minute talk at 3pm from one of the helpful staff. Remember to get your ticket stamped on the way out, so you can return for free anytime over the next 12 months. The toilets are the cleanest in London and suitably regal! There's no cafe on site or nearby, but a stroll through Green Park to Piccadilly will give you lots of options.
U. Z.
Amazing exhibition. The lighting must be changed as there is a reflection from the drawings and it is impossible to take poctures.
J. B.
They have excellent well-displayed exhibitions. We went this time to the Leonardo sketchbooks. And you can get your ticket stamped to be an annual one and return for free. If only I lived in London!
R. C.
Excellent, if not huge, gallery which deserves to be better known. The Royal Collection is one of the best art collections in the world and the gallery has many unique exhibitions which are expertly curated. It's a well organised place with beautiful rooms and the staff are exceptionally helpful and polite.
D. R.
I attended an "Escape room" in the queen's gallery based on the life and work of Leonardo DiVinci and I thought it was amazing. It was challenging, fun and informative all at the same time. I highly recommend this experience! The staff working the event did a great job and deserve a lot of credit for making it fun and providing the subtlest hints when needed!
H. P.
The perfect gallery, perfect size. No exhibit we've ever been to see there has been less than scrumptious. Perfectly hung and arranged, jewels of paintings, sculpture, often with lovely furniture, music and other things for context. A great gift to myself everytime. And wonderful gift shop.
V. R.
Must visit and enjoy old masters and their masterpieces.
H. C.
Loved this. We saw lots of Leonardo Divinchi artwork, it was amazing. There was a headset so you could listen and learn about the sketches and drawings. There was also a cloakroom so you could store your umbrella and coat and there was some airport security you had to go through at the start.
V. R.
Always enjoy visiting here. Although yesterday felt there were far too many people allowed in at a time. Terrible bottle-neck made worse by people sketching and having to be asked to move so I could look at items. What surprised me most of all was that photography was allowed. This was very off putting as people armed with phones pushed their way in to take photos, at least those with proper camera were more polite.
B. S.
Great venue for diverse exhibitions of items from the Royal collection. Well designed and gracious new addition to Buckingham Palace. The architecture echoes the Nash Original. The shop is excellent and has an outstanding selection of royal inspired goods, porcelain, books, postcards, trinkets and gee gaws. Staff are very friendly and helpful, befitting the place. Currently exhibition of Leonardo drawings is a huge draw and well worth seeing.
p.
We saw the India collection ...
stunning!
V. S.
Small gallery but well maintained gallery.
Visited for the Da Vinci drawings exhibition.
For entry, there appears to be an offer you essentially get an annual membership if you get your online printed ticket stamped.
Effectively makes it a bargain and would definitely recommend it.
B. L.
The exhibit of Victoria's son's presents from India were impressive..lots of gold and swords too. The other gallery had many impressive small paintings and good explanations of their contexts. The whole place is really nice. I like that the monarchy shares their treasures with the public with the changing exhibits.
M. W.
Great experience that allowed you to enjoy the paintings up close and in your time without crowds.
-. I.
Did not go in but it's a beautiful place from the outside.
D. T.
Fantastic building, lovely exhibition space. Not crowded, quick entry when we visited. Amazing display of the da Vinci drawings. First time I've been to this gallery, I'm ashamed to say, though I'm a regular at the Tates.
P. N. A. G.
Absolutely amazing attraction an display. Superior art designs throughout.
B. D.
Excellent exhibitions, well done and informativ audio guide where you can choose how much you want to know: and overall view or more details to selected pieces. Saw Leonardo da Vinci and George IV exhibition and maybe able to go again for the Japanese one in July. So getting the ticket stamped did the trick and than the price wasn't to much. Booking is advice and if you want to be sure to get in at a certain time I can highly recommend to do that.
C. S.
Excellent exhibitions. However visiting can be spoiled by lack of available seating whilst waiting for times ticket entry. Also complete lack of coffee / tea facilities whilst waiting to be admitted. Folk sometimes travel long distances to come (and wait !) and therefore deserve not just more consideration - but any help ar all. Staff very friendly and helpful though.
D. S.
Went here for the DaVinci exhibit. The drawings were displayed nicely and it wasn't too overcrowded. The audioguide is good but could have been a bit more elaborate and explain more of the drawings but I understand that our knowledge about DaVinci and his work is limited because all of this happened such a long time ago. All in all, it was great!
A. J. M.
I went there for the Leonardo Da Vinci expo on at present. If you wish to enter the mind of one of the greatest forward thinking and creative human ever, then don't miss this expo. As for the Gallery, be impressed from the moment you step inside. The regality of the place is obvious with Roman columns, elegant stair cases, and halls with high ceilings where Artists' works are displayed. A portable audio system is available as part of the entry fee, very handy to know more about what you are looking at. Staff are plentiful and helpful. But be prepared to wait for security checks, and it is best to book in advance as it was very busy on the day I was there. Enjoy.
E. B. G.
Lovely visit as usual, staff were amazing and Bridget gave an excellent talk- her knowledge is extraordinary
R. T.
Although compact the current exhibition is incredible. We went, having read reviews saying that it would be a 20 min visit, and after 2.5 hours we had only done half of the gallery. Thankfully, you can change your ticket from a one day to an annual one. We will be returning for the rest of the exhibition another day. The downside was there was no café or anywhere to get some water/light bites. The gift shop was interesting and very much targeting tourists. It saddened me that things like marriage are being used commercially. It was also priced for tourists.
S. B.
A fabulous display of Leonardo de Vinci drawings.
However the venue was surprisingly not that inspiring. Having shown tickets and been through a simple search procedure the entrance to the gallery was via a small anti room. This room was small enough for people to have to work around each other to see the displays, even though it was not particularly busy. Once in the main exhibition space the rooms were much larger but for some reason it was still quite tricky to get to some of the pictures, particularly in places where there was a significant or famous display. On reflection it was not that busy. But I think the lay out caused pinch points. Some parts of the exhibition were quiet and others, around door ways and narrow passages quite claustrophobic. There were a lot of pictures on display, which necessitated hanging them quite close together. The rooms were large and not that inspiring. Organisation was ok but a couple of the staff were a little grandiose, particularly in the search area. The shop was full of beautifully made stuff that I have no use for. Very old school and no better for it.
F. C.
Beautiful gallery, some halls even bigger than my house :D It was very exciting and interesting experience to be in the same house as the Queen is. The paintings were beautiful too.
T. L.
This is a beautiful gallery with some very interesting exhibitions. Your ticket lasts for a year so you can revisit, making it good value. The guides are helpful and knowledgeable and the facilities are also clean and pleasant
A. A. A.
A nice gallery showcasing wonderful paintings and other pieces of art. We reached 1 min before last admission time and our tickets were scanned, but after speaking to the supervisor we entered the gallery although the lady at the xray refused to allow us to enter.
M. B.
World's best finishing art ever I seen. Very well managed and we'll articulated with audio .
C. P.
Exhibitions always fascinating. Tickets very good value if you go more than once a year.
k. w.
My review is of course not entirely reliable, as it is based only upon the "Splendours of the subcontinent" exhibition. Overall, the exhibition was excellent- there was a wide array of artefacts on display, each clearly labelled and dated, certainly interesting- if you like that kind of thing. However, i found the exhibition to be in slightly bad taste. Most of the exhibited goods were essentially tribute's to the British Raj or BEIC, being given over, if not at gunpoint, under threat of punishment. As with the Egyptian Museum,, i agree that these goods should be given back to the people and country which made them, rather than being used as a means to extract £10.50 from tourists.
G. R.
Da Vinci collection is good
D.
Over the experience was great, had a very informative and interesting talk/tour tell at 3:00 pm the staff doing the talk was very good! Was only disappointed that I wasn't able to buy a corgi soft toy because my wallet couldn't justify the purchase.
J. D. (.
I booked the Royal Day Out experience and the Queen's Gallery was the first stop. The exhibition in the gallery was about the life and work of Leonardo da Vinci. It was quite interesting and had lots of examples of how he created his art work. The media tour was useful as it guided you through what you were looking at.
A. W.
Some amazing paintings on show
D. C.
Decent place, great De Vinci exhibition, very crowded due
f. k.
Had airport style security check.
Long queues even if you book online. People are pretty helpful. There's an audio tour as well. Photography isn't allowed. Overall, a decent experience.
i. c.
We pre-booked for the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition... FANTASTIC. Beautiful drawings, so detailed and so accurate in their execution, the whole exhibition was a delight. Add in beautiful surroundings, helpful and efficient staff and you have a sure fire way to spend a couple of hours in London. Pre-booking for this exhibition is crucial but well worth it...just GO!
S. M.
Went to see the LEONARDO DA VINCI: A LIFE IN DRAWING
collection. Was very good. Only loses a point because there is a bit of a bottleneck to get in as a little understaffed. Nothing against the staff though they were very friendly and courteous, even under the pressure of a big queue. Would recommend
l. S.
Highly recommend visiting after going Buckingham Palace. The staff are so friendly and polite.
R. S.
Fascinating exhibition of the work of Da Vinci. Well organised and easy to book. The only problem with reviewing it is that the exhibition is only on for a few more months, meaning that as a review of the Queen's Gallery it isn't informative if you go after that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so I assume all future exhibitions will be equally enjoyable.
J. T.
A bit difficult to find but well worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff. The accessible loo is a tight fit and check before visiting if your wheelchair is a nonstandard size. Exhibits are well displayed and signage is large. Ramps between a couple of the rooms makes transition difficult so, if you're using a self-propelled chair, you will probably need an assistant. Tickets for assistants are included in the admission price BUT you have to write or call beforehand to get their tickets. It can't (currently) be done online, which is a bit annoying. Get your ticket "stamped" before you leave and it's valid for readmission for a year. But each time you come back you have to jump through hoops to get a ticket for your assistant/carer.
S. A.
Phenomenal Davinci drawings collection currently on display is a must see while in London. The large crowd allowed in for viewing during the time slot was the only drawback during our visit. Made it difficult to adequately see items in the collection.
M. J.
Excellent venue with interesting exhibitions. Display of presents passing between the Royal families of England and Russia showing opulence to the point of vulgarity. Wanted to take home silver statuette of horse Persimmon but not allowed. So many sad female faces in arranged marriages. A few tantalising glimpses of serfdom and war.
M. S.
Nice paintings and sketches from Leonardo da Vinci
A. B.
Very traditional space in keeping with the palace. Went to see Da Vinci exhibition- out of this world experience and the chance to redeem your ticket for a years pass is an added bonus.
N. W.
The Rembrandt paintings are stunning.
R. G.
It was a very nice experience . All the goods and things present here belongs to Indian Kings and queens. We can easily get a clear picture , how wealthy the India was . Moreover we come to know how the Indian artists were well equipped in technology , art, design making.
C. H.
This is a superb gallery. Exhibitions are always well curated, there are curator talks and facilities are good, although I don't think there is a café. Just seen the Russian exhibition which was informative and interesting. Audioguides included in ticket usually.
C. B.
Depending on the exhibition it could be of interest. I went to see some historical photographs of India and found it fascinating. Free entry for a year following the visit if you get your ticket stamped.
P. S.
Absolutely must see gallery. Created around 2002 to showcase the Queen`s Collection, exhibitions move on to Holyrood Edinburgh. The architecture, design and lighting are perfect for viewing art. The ticket lasts for a year so it really is excellent value. Shop but no cafe, although plenty locally.
S. C.
Always a great experience here. Relaxed, photographs encouraged, beautiful gallery rooms. Toilets are always so very clean as well. Only thing missing is a small cafe or somesuch.
A. S.
Loved the ambience and lovely paintings for art enthusiasts
Z. R.
Excellent value not you live in or near London, your ticket (if you sign it and get it stamped) allows you in free for a year, so you can see three exhibitions throughout the year on the one ticket
I went to see the George IV exhibition, you get an audio guide, there is also a free cloakroom, I'd say this would take you around 60-90min to go through in total
C. M.
Well laid out, brilliant artworks, restricted numbers means v. enjoyable viewing/space.
I. W.
Da Vinci exhibition. Wonderful exhibition but our visit at 3.45pm gave us far too short a time in which to see all the exhibits. Also far too many people in the exhibition which meant I felt crowded out and pressurised. Very disappointed with the 'shop' - hardly anything available to purchase to do with da Vinci as 95% + was Royal (very expensive) tat. Once you have bought your entry ticket you can visit as many times as you like within a year but for tourists (and people like me who live 80 miles away) this really doesn't help. Disappointing visit to an awe-inspiring exhibition of da Vinci's work.
P. V.
I'm not sure I was in the Queen's gallery in. Somehow I was in Buckingham palace but there's nothing really to do there. I was in the gallery of the Trafalgar square. It is way more interesting. I'm not sure who have you ever go into the Queen's Buckingham palace. Maybe only Queens fans. If you visiting London UK please find more interesting place to spend your time in. Regards.
J. B.
The Leonardo is a must-see exhibition. Well organised and well presented one comes away in wonder and awe at this great artist's genius. An artist who touched upon all human experience. It is unmissable.
F. T.
Excellent exhibition. Good cloakroom where I could leave my bag (there is an x-ray machine at entrance).
Queue should be better managed. We were told to go to the back of the queue when we showed our timed ticket. Did so, then nearly missed our timeslot and we were right on time. That's my only criticism, and should be easily remedied with more communication and checking of the queue by stewards . They need to move away from the door and speak to people in the queue.
A. T.
Amazing artwork. Great history lesson on England
C. L.
I went for the Russian exhibition on the Romanovs and the Crimean War. I'm not that much into royalty, but I much enjoyed it. I had no clue they were related to British royalty nor that Brits of that day were into Russian [styled] objects. The photographs were fascinating and extremely insightful into a rather messy period in history.
A. P.
Wonderful various displys and exhibitions at various times so do check their website for current event. Worth a visit. The paintings and historical items and gifts given (some may be taken/stolen from the huge past British empire and other places) by the rulers of those countries are magnificent, artistic, highly valuable, ancient, precious and rare. Some of these can be seen at the gallery depending which theme or exhibit they decide to promote. You can convert your ticket into a one year pass so check details on their website. Merchandise in the shops is very expensive but tourist will certainly pay the high prices. Other related merchandise can be bought outside the gallery around the same area in quite a few shops which are on the same street. Cheaper entrance tickets or free access to the gallery may bring more people to visit and sell more merchandise at the same expensive prices.
J. H.
Current exhibition has got some stonking stuff you don't often get to see.
J. F.
such a smart museum! and what a treasure house they have to draw on! The Russia exhibition although presented in a bit of a muddle is full of wonderful and moving exhibits - worth seeing for the Fabergé eggs alone not to mention the Tsarevitch's little jacket.
S. E.
Excellent but depends on your interest in the exhibition. Great value as one ticket can be used for free readmission for a year.
p. -. (.
Very impressive. My one qualm is that the site understates the amount of time the exhibit takes. The website suggests an hour with the multimedia guide, and I was there for at least two and a half hours.
k. m.
Very beautiful! I quite appreciated the large print guides by the entrances so you can walk around and read about the things you're looking at without having to get within a centimeter of the plaque on the wall.
M. S. K.
We went to visit for a baby concert and was an amazing room we saw and the staff were very friendly and directed us well. Facilities were good didn't find the baby change though.
J. P.
The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace has an exhibition that is part of the Royal Collection Trust. This display changes from year to year and is worth seeing. On the back of the entrance ticket, there is information about, turning that ticket purchase into a free re-admission for a year. Good idea because I did not have enough time to see all the details in Leonardo Da Vinci's, A Life in Drawing.
M. K.
Beautiful. Go visit
c. m.
Enjoyed learning a bit more of English history and seeing some special treasures and works of art. Sevres porcelain and also special Sevres boat also on display at Waddesdon Manor House.
C. R.
Really fun gallery that was featuring Da Vinci. Very small compared to the other galleries around town. It is a quick hour+ trip if you are already near Buckingham.
A. G.
First visit and I learnt so much about the artists and styles from around the world. Can't wait to visit again when they change the paintings.
J. T.
Excellent . Magnificent display of art and artefacts from a wonderful historical and worldwide collection. Child friendly and a ticket can convert to years pass. Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff.
j. c.
Great that you can take photos (without fash) on this Charles II exhibition.
J. E.
As a gallery to tour goes, it's not worth £10 entry when compared against the larger and free-to-enter options that London has in abundance. Not to be confused with the touring of the palace state rooms in the summer months. The gift shop also offers some really bizarre options that are ridiculously expensive. Nobody tours a portrait gallery and then visits the gift shop for a £10,000 vase.
D. V.
The place is well run and organized, given the the huge numbers that attend. The exhibitions are of top quality.
You should book in advance to avoid the disappointment of not getting in.
J. B.
It was lovely, but it's not the best museum in London, by a long shot.
The Wallace collection, the National Gallery and even the British Museum have better art.
But it has some very historic stuff.
I. K.
I liked the history of Leonardo Da Vinci presented through his paintings and etchings. I think there should be a better way of getting customers into the gallery in a timely manner. Find a system better than passing out timecards of when you come into the exhibit. Also fifteen minute increments for the timecards is not going to get people through faster if it takes longer than that to process each timeslot.
D. V.
Must See! Take a guided tour through the Buvkingham Palace. Highlights include the throne room, the art work, the table Napoleon and kings planned wat moves on and the room where dignateries meet-- and a secret access door. No pictures allowed in the palace.
A. R.
Wonderful exhibition, beautiful building, helpful and friendly staff, plus I had my ticket stamped so I could return for free anytime in the next 12 months, which is a great offer!
D. T.
I loved this little gem. Because it is royally owned, they have some whopping treasures. If you're a reader of Alison Wier, history or historical fiction of England, you may see miniatures or portraits of the court people you've read about, here. All that money, intrigue, hoity toity, pride, supposed sophistication, royal connections, royal favorites, royal mistresses, etc. Gone now. But still fun to see what they looked like, what they wore, the hairstyles, the little diaries, the jewelry, the great ones.
D. P.
George certainly knew how to collect art
K. 1.
J. A.
Situated along the side of Buckingham Palace, the Queen's Gallery has a multitude of objects and paintings to put on very interesting exhibitions. Great value if you're a London resident or are able to travel to London two or three times a year: once your initial ticket is stamped you can return during the coming year for free.
M. D.
Awesome gallery with a chance to get free entry for a year if you mark the ticket price as a donation upon exiting the gallery. Nothing to lose for such high quality works!
Artemisia Gentlileschi's work was my favourite, as well as the surprising work of Prince Phillip!
-.
Small gallery that can put interesting shows from the substantial art collection at their disposal.
The "Leonardo da Vinci - a life in drawing exhibition" would be interesting to newcomers to the genius drawings, it illuminates aspects of his creative process.
There were 2 or 3 very well known drawings, his obsession with the Sforza horse well documented here.
M. M.
Went to see exhibition od Leonardo drawings. Excellent. It's a lovely gallery which shows stuff from the royal collection. Previous monarchs bought well.
C. R.
Having in mind that you are in London, at. Buckingham Palace... And that VERY probably the Queen herself must fill up the tea bags and hand paint the tea sets... Prices are OK (spoiler alert: ironic). On the other hand, products are delicate, detailed and good quality. Not my cup of tea...
N. A.
Beautiful art works
T. R.
There's not many pieces on exhibition and the tour to Buckingham palace was close. Love some of the royal furniture but not really impressed
M.
This is a rare opportunity to see special exhibitions of art from the Royal Collection. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are on holiday and would like to buy suitably Royal gifts for your loved ones back home in the adjoining shop.
b. r.
Excellent for buying some soveniers. The lady incharged of the juweliers has an extended knowledge about the items on display, about the cut, shape, material of each item and when and by whom the originals have been worn.
C. M.
Staff is really kind and nice. They didn't have a spanish audio guide for my mom but they gave her like a script so she could read and know everything about the pieces we were looking at
K. S.
Really enjoyed the Da Vinci exhibition. Fine selection of drawings, useful audio guide, free. Ideally book tickets before going
D. N.
Small set of gallery rooms, which will either be hosting a themed exhibition, or a permanent display of art from the Royal Collection. Very pleasant staff at security and in galleries. It's quite small, so you do not need more than an hour or so. They also host programmes of lectures, workshops etc on the themes. Also contains "Royal Shop" for china, teatowels and other memorabilia.
p. k.
It's is absolutely charming with affordable prices. If you want to send friends or family gifts with a Buckingham Palace branding, this is a place to get them! Absolutely charming!!
D. Z.
Went with family and loved it, you can go with your stroller and also the diaper bag or a backpack (for kids stuff) but not carried by you (it has to be carried by the stroller).
You can take pictures without flash.
E. C.
Exhibits change every few months. Quite small one-floor galleries but def worth a visit. Remember to ask for a stamp on your tix so it becomes valid for 1 year!
V. C.
Beautiful gallery - such a privilege to be able to tread within the palace premises and feel hosted by Her Majesty herself! It is a great gift to the public.
d. z.
Amazing collections. Great costumer service.👍👌
A. H.
An interesting and informative stop in the lineup of historical tours whilst in London. A good inclusion if you are browsing the Royal offerings. Gets very crowded in Summer with the influx of visiting tourists.
V. C.
The Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition was absolutely amazing the only thing that let it down was the rather dry and dusty audio tour. I have to admit that the building was worth the visit
C. L.
Decent sized gallery. Helpful staff. Great Leonardo exhibition. Entrance ticket can be reused for one year to different shows.
g.
Saw the Queen's hoard of Da Vinci drawings..absolutely marvellous..the drawings, that is, because I believe Prince Charles had a hand in deciding the 'look' and design of this gallery fairly attached to Buck House..and frankly I think it's kitsch!
H. N.
Beautiful gallery hosting the great Master Genius Engineer and Artist, Leonardo da Vinci this summer. Jolly good. Please bring your family friends neighbours and colleagues to the Queen's Gallery in Buckingham Palace. This is a ticketed event. Audio guides are available in several languages. I requested the Chinese language audio guide in the Queen's Gallery, and offers due credit to the Chinese - English translations. The Leonardo da Vinci exhibits are world class, in-depth and saturated with data. I enjoyed myself very much on my first visit, and will return this weekend. I have requested a 1-Year Pass for re-entry. Thank you.
S. h.
Amazing place and great for gifts which are reasonably priced.
R. A.
Nothing special about this place where most of the internal architecture is fake. DaVinci probably deserved a better representation, especially with curators not careful in indicating the appropriate sequences of the voice guide on the wall.
M. V.
Gorgeous place. Never fails to amaze me. Exhibition of Prince Charles favourite pictures including his two boys. Went on a Saturday and it was heaving. Will try a weekday next time
R. H.
Beautiful gallery and the exhibition we saw was fab.
W. J.
Saw the da Vinci exhibition here - beautiful gallery, lovely staff and a great experience all round. Recommended for any age.
S. E. I.
Beautiful tea/coffee ware. Exquisit everything!! However, I suggest you have much money if you want to buy more than a micro tin of tea, or postcard!!
C. H.
Visited the exhibition of the royal collection of Leonardo da Vinci works. Well organised and informative. The palace retail shops sell high quality items. Highly recommended.
J. G.
Great show, illustrating the relations between the monarchs of Britain and Russia. Lots of beautiful portraits by great painters, including Winterhalter and Keller, but also many pieces of china and jewellery, some Fabergé pieces, letters and clothes. It was very moving to see a very affectionate letter written in English by Tsar Nicholas II to his English cousin, which he signed "Nicky".
I. F.
Classy institutional gallery, niche but in-depth exhibitions.
N. T.
Was not what I expected but nice to be able to say saw in side part Buckingham Palace
C. W. I.
I wonder how many were willingly donated and which were stolen by the infamous British Empire gang
D. M.
Wonderful event Reagency cincert💐💐
A. P.
Wonderful place to buy a special present so many beautiful magical ornaments that will last a life time.
S. M.
I recommend to take a look around the souvenir shop and they were very kind
T. L.
If you want one very good history lesson. One you will remember, one you will want to recap by going back, then this is the one for you.
Just one disappointing thing: there are paintings of King Charles' mistresses but of Nell Gwynn just an etching. Poor Nell.
Worth every penny.
P. W.
Fabulous Leonardoexhibition and private talk by curator. Staff very friendly and helpful, a refreshing changes from some galleries. Insane prices in souvenir shop!
R. M.
Incredible space with amazing exhibitions
C. W.
Some great items in the exhibitions but they were both very short. I recommend getting a 'Royal Day Out' ticket which includes the gallery, palace, and mews.
M. S.
Amazing anatomy drawings. Great for kids as well !
R. M.
I love this place which represent UK culture specially with the royal family. A lot of valuable items that you can buy for gifts going back home.
A. S.
Lovely exhibition. Good social distance measures. Felt very safe. Found out a lot about George IV.
K.
A busy, popular exhibition with a great many of Leonardo's drawings showing some of his genius. I have to go back as I couldn't take it all in in one visit.
J. A.
The Queen's Gallery is a part of Buckingham Palace and was established in 1962. I did not have the privilege of visiting this art gallery, but I was able to visit the Queen's Gallery Shop which is very beautiful, impeccable, and perfect for fans of the royal family because this store is entirely dedicated to the queen and her relatives.
V. R.
The Royal Gallery is one of the best in the world for the presentation of paintings and fine art. Many compositions are combined with sophisticated elegance and knowledge of art.
Ł. T.
Great Leonardo’s drawings
m. l.
Small gallery and the same souvenir shop as everywhere else the queen should make a lot of money with it but please don't tell the visitors that the porcelain has a good quality 😂 definitely it's ok but not for the price you sell it better buy KPM or other good brands.
J. K.
If you cannot get the ticket to the palace, come here
P. A. S.
A curated selection from the Royal Collection, one of the best art collections in the world, is on view in these galleries. I am just confused sometimes - does this art belong to the nation or to the royal family?
C. C.
Definitely not worth the price we paid, and the queues were huge outside. Fine selection of art, but way too crowded inside the exhibition.
J. A.
First class exhibitions and great value for money if you live in London: ticket needs to be signed and stamped to allow free access for a year.

Friendly, helpful service, busy but not overcrowded, well signed and very accessible. Converted our tickets to annual passes and would recommend that you do the same.

The building that originally stood on the site of the current Queen’s Gallery was designed by John Nash as one of Buckingham Palace’s three identical conservatories or pavilions in the form of Ionic temples. It was constructed on the south-west corner of the Palace, facing the garden, and was completed in 1831. The conservatory was converted into a private chapel for Queen Victoria in 1843, but destroyed in an air raid in 1940.
J. C.

Love
This
place
The series focuses on Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), a woman who wakes up in the afterlife and is introduced by Michael (Ted Danson) to "The Good Place", a Heaven-like utopia he designed, in reward for her righteous life. She realizes that she was sent there by mistake and must hide her morally imperfect behavior and try to become a better person. William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil and Manny Jacinto co-star as other residents of "The Good Place", together with D'Arcy Carden as Janet, an artificial being helping the inhabitants.
The Good Place has received positive reviews since its premiere, with many praising its performances, writing, originality, setting and tone, as well as its first-season finale's twist ending. On January 30, 2017, NBC renewed the series for a second season of 13 episodes, which premiered on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, with an hour-long premiere, before moving to its normal time slot Thursday at 8:30 pm, beginning September 28, 2017.[2] On November 21, 2017, NBC renewed the series for a 13-episode third season.[3]

Signage could have been better: Buckingham Palace is, obviously a big place, and when you need to get to somewhere specific (eg The Queen's Gallery), some signage would help
