Reviews of Lydiard Park

I had a fantastic day yesterday at Lydiard Park, Swindon. My crew and I went to film an interview and we automatically fell in love with the venue, the staff was friendly as well. Lydiard Park is over 26,000 acres what a beautiful place, it …

Wonderful free public park on the edge of Swindon. Great open space for games, picnics and walks and plenty of great play equipment for the kids. Take a break at the cafe or grab an ice cream. Don't miss a visit to Lydiard House to see life from a bygone age.

Lovely park, nice walks and good facilities. Ample parking which is reasonably priced (you can pay via app). I find something new every time I go.

Lovely park but beware parking charges. The signs are easily missed because of overgrown trees and the pay machines can get hidden by cars. The parking attendants spend more time finding than advising people to pay, not impressed Swindon Council.

Great place for a peaceful walk and a picnic. Couple of good cafes, walled garden, lakeside walks and a well equipped play park for the kids. Lovely space for a picnic when it’s sunny.

The best Council House I have ever been in! And would win the best landscaped garden competition!
A great facility for local people and tourists alike.
