I contacted Andrew, to have a vintage trumpet chemically cleaned and serviced. I must say, I could not be happier with the results, the service, and the overall experience I had visiting his workshop.
It's a pleasure to deal with someone who has a passion for what they do. This is is evident in the extreme care and respect he shows for every instrument that comes through his workshop. His attention to detail is amazing, and he is happy to share the benefit of his experience, offering advice and guidance along the way.
Andrew seems to have the ability to combine modern technology and old-school craftsmanship to meet any repair or servicing task that is needed.
I wouldn't hesitate to entrust any of my instruments to Clennell Custom Brass, and I look forward to our next encounter.

Fantastic place to have your musical instruments repaired! Highly recommended! Repaired my daughters trumpet to a super high standard overnight at no extra charge. I will never use anyone else!

Superb work and a top guy! Andrew did a screw bell conversion on my 1967 Conn Mellophonium. The screw ring was custom designed and manufactured by associate Ian Kingshott, and Andrew did the assembly. A far from straightforward job because the ring needed altering to fit precisely, however the end product looks spot on. The hooter came back well within the agreed timeframe, and whilst the price wasn't super cheap (it wasn't a cheap job of course), it was in line with the initial quote and the rough price I had in my head. I was slightly apprehensive about sending the instrument in its gig bag, even in a heavily fortified/padded out box. It was returned to me super securely packed in loads of bubblewrap and even more polystyrene chips. Great job all round!! Please check Clennell Custom Brass out.
