Phil transformed a tired old Les Paul copy into a vintage classic by a great setup and re-wire. Most of all, his advice on affordable replacement pickups was top notch and he went out of his way to source them. Overall, a very good service with great communication throughout. I will be taking other guitars his way for sure. Highly recommended!

Wow! Took an old and neglected Tanglewood Earth 200 to Phil and it is transformed! He spent little over half the budget I gave him, consulted and informed me throughout the process. It plays beautifully now. My next purchase can be mid range and will go to Phil after 3 weeks. I know it’ll come back playing like a guitar double the price. Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Astounding transformation: strat action was way too high. Reducing it meant choking out. After the BGT service (it was a "raised tongue problem" apparently) it now plays beautifully. Can't recommend his services highly enough!
