Popped in here on a rainy day working in the town, great little shop.. Lots of great stock and found a lot of gems, the friendly guy behind the counter gave me a free tote bag and a nice little discount on my purchases. Great spot for a dig..!!

Hopefully, you’re lucky enough to be able to visit this gem of a record shop in person, and if not then the website and online service is incredible! Iain & all the Staff make you feel like you’ve been shopping there forever, vinyl selection, quality and knowledge is off the scale, if you’re after something new or fancy a bit of a punt, they can recommend loads of new to you stiff based on what you already likes. 5 star recommendation as there aren’t 6 stars available 👏👏💛🖤💛🫶

Very friendly owner, I have been in the shop many times. Very knowledgeable in music, his collection is outstanding and good quality or mint LP's and CD's. You can even order on their online shop or if you are after something you can ask to reserve on facebook. I am a big collector and never left down ever! Prices are amazing and on multiple buy you could have a little discount if you are regular! I hate big record shops where no personal touch so I highly recommend Longwell records where you always have the personal touch and care form the business owner!

Not just a vinyl record store and Steve Merchantdise , but also a magical set up full of nostalgia that’s lasted over 5 years and has battled on through the pandemic. Great camaraderie can be had and networking has attributed to well known acts performing in the court yard and across the road in the Space hall which proves itself in a worthy location Temple street in Keynsham Town owes its sparkle to Longwell Records May it continue.

It's impossible to shop and longwell records and not have a good time. Not possible. Whatever music floats your boat, they'll be something for you here. Even if there isn't, they'll be some lovely people that'll make you feel at home. Fierce competition for top record shop on the south west, but Longwell Records ranks pretty darn high in my opinion.

Lovely shop! My bf and I were down in Bristol for his birthday. He is a huge record fan and they kindly agree to opening the shop on a Sunday for us, even got a discount and a free gift. Very knowledgeable staff, we were served by Doug who was very friendly and helpful. The prices are great (much more reasonable then many stores i have been to), some real bargains and a great selection! Lots of nice finds everything from Jazz, rock, pop and world music etc. Worth a trip!!! :)

This is the best record shop in the West country. The selection is amazing and the owner is an absolute gentleman who has a great, wide ranging taste in music, and is always digging out gems and playing them in the store, putting you onto good music. Like the record shops of the 80s and 90s it has that community feel, somewhere to spend an hour, and where you will always see a friendly face. Well worth the trip and make sure you get a Longwell Records hoodie or t-shirt, as they're iconic to say the least!

Fantastic vinyl record and tape oasis tucked at the library end of Keynsham High Street. A small but beautifully formed haven for analogue music lovers. New and second hand records at really great prices. Warm and welcoming staff with great knowledge of global and local music. Live performances from established and fledgeling artists. You will not leave empty handed.

So good to be able to get back in the store, I've missed being able to just pop into the shop for a browse through the ever changing stock and finding absolute gems, you can buy online but there really is no substitute for being in store.

This is a great record store. In fact it’s what I would call an old fashioned record store. The owner Iain is a fantastic guy, a true, polite gentleman who will sit or stand and talk music with you and recommend some new (or old) sounds. There’s some great bargains to be had, just be prepared to do some digging around and spend a couple of hours traveling through the ever changing stock. The prices are extremely reasonable and £20 will get you a large selection of second hand records. Parking is just around the corner at a pay and display and is cheap. Give the shop a visit and say hello to Iain. You won’t regret it at all!!

Outstanding selection, great balance of old/new vinyl & lovely service. Popped in today (23rd Dec 2016), the shop has a very welcoming feel. I was on the lookup for some Christmas classics and was chuffed to find Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Frank Sinatra collections which I snapped up instantly. Spoke to Iain for the best part of an hour or so, he kindly provided a lovely cup of tea and mince pie too. The selection is excellent, I'm a fan of soundtracks and they've got loads to flick through. In summary, great shop, good location Keynsham nr Bristol/Bath. This is now my favourite record shop in the area. Needless to say, I'll be back to dig through. Really refreshing to have such a genuine experience, left the shop in a brilliant mood, ready for Christmas and glad to have met the people at Longwell Records.
