Reviews of Wanted Records

An outstanding record store, filled to the brim with delights for tastes both obscure and more mainstream. You'll be pleased with the reasonable prices, as well.
On a personal note, the friendly staff went above and beyond to help out a visitor from the USA who needed some music-related advice from knowledgeable locals.
I'm looking forward to visiting Wanted Records again on my next visit to Bristol, whenever that might be.

I come in to grab a bunch of reggae whenever Iocal, always greeted with a top selection of music to choose from, extremely reasonable pricing and very friendly staff who cut me fantastic deals. Great store🔥

Excellent record shop in the St Nicolas market Bristol, great choice of music, I was looking for Reggae 7" singles and there were more than enough, most of which were sorted either by era or label. Could have spent a lot longer here so will be back with a heavy wallet

Excellent Vinyl shop in the heart of Bristol. They have Vinyl here for everyone! A great selection of Artists to choose from. If you are in the St. Nicholas Market area of Bristol, please don't hesitate to give this shop a visit. It's a true joy to look through the Vinyl here - All very fairly priced and very helpful, knowledgeable staff, I will visit again

Here I found the vinyl I was looking for a long time. Good service. Good quality. Nice little place with so much choice.

Fantastic helpful person. Brilliant shop as well. Totally organised.

Friendly and honest.
I took a heavy bag of records in for assessment, and the gentleman (who I assumed to be the owner) greeted me and quickly told me what I had and what was of any value, after I said that I was disposing of them for a deceased relatives estate and that there were more record's he explained what to look for to save carrying heavy bags unnecessarily.

Great place to buy lp and vintage records. You find great bargains. Just one thing: they only accept cash.

Haven't been there recently, but still great record selection.

Varied selection of music on vinyl at sensible prices, and by and large you get what you pay for.
If you are looking for near mint vinyl obviously the price is higher, but still reasonable compared to other stores. Well worth a visit.

Quality little shed in St Nicks. Great prices for vinyl and the perfect place to do some crate digging.
The owner is relaxed and friendly and if (like me) you're a reggae fan, the gems you can find are spot on.
Keep using places like this and help keep independent record stores alive.

Really wide variety of styles on offer. Very well layed out although a bit small. My son is a very big fan of the store and the staff seem really knowledgeable.

Hands down my favorite Bristol record shop. Small but quality stock at very competitive prices. Genre based ordering - I've found lots of great funk, jazz, blues, rock, reggae etc. Small electronic section but don't expect much in the way of dance/club music. They have an extensive £5 bargain bucket also!

Fantastic record shop, tons of interesting and rare vinyl, the owner is really knowledgeable and pleasant too, no snobbery here.

Hands down the best secondhand record shop in Bristol. They only trade in vinyl and have an encyclopedic knowledge of their subject. The prices are reasonable and they have a lot of stock.
My only complaint is their Chris De Burgh selection is almost non-existent. Now I think about it they didn't have any Jive Bunny in the racks either.

you never know what you're going to find there. The owner John is very knowledgeable about records. He is also very modest if he doesn't know he will tell you and then he will point you in the same sort of direction and you might find something new altogether. it is a great independent shop. they only accept Cash or PayPal account payments just be warned. my favourite record shop personally.

John the owner is knowledgeable and amenable. Not a huge stock but some very interesting items nonetheless and a deck available for listening. Definitely worth a dig if in Bristol.

Good record store in a great location! With a wide selection of records and genre's this is a must visit when in Bristol, only some records are a bit pricey, but the other stores around have about the same price range. Owner is very friendly and helpful!

Great place for record digging, a little bit pricey but still worth a visit one draw back it's a shame they don't open earlier because it's only two people in at a time.
J. O.
Great people to deal with fully recommend

Great shop one of three in the direct area, the need for more emphasis on metal is clearly needed, we metallers are out there, we are older now with money to spend
P. J.
Great selection of vinyl and the guy behind the counter really knew his stuff without being pretentious about it...

(Translated) Awesome record shop with many genres to choose from. Average prices. The owner did his utmost to help me find a title I was looking for and it was nice to talk to him about music. In short, nice little place, I recommend it.
