L. C.Tonegarden is great, my band practice here every week and have a fab time. The facilities are brilliant, it's really nice and clean and well looked after. The people are really friendly.
C.There's a shortage of rehearsal spaces in Edinburgh and this is about the best you can get. That said, the website gives the impression that each room comes equipped with all the stuff listed - but when you arrive they ask you to pay for cymbals for the drum kit etc. I've had a few equipment issues too. A couple of the times I've been, I called in advance to ask for a particular room and when I arrived, staff insisted I had booked a different room. On one occasion the owner was actually pretty rude about it.

I've never had an issue with getting in contact with the owner or staff, and I've always been met with understanding professionalism and a willingness to help whenever I've had an issue. The location is super convenient, and is definitely beneficial for creative types to be in such close proximity to the other arts-orientated business located in Summerhall. In short, great facilities, great staff, great service. 5/5.
