Thanks again Eric for repairing my Yamaha and giving my Alvarez a new lease of life with a set up and new tuners. To anyone looking for a guitar repair… look no further. I had damaged the soundboard on my Yamaha ls-ta. The wood had split about 4/5 inches across just above the sound hole. Eric repaired it to an excellent standard a true craftsman. So much so that my daughter who had not seen where the damage was prior to it been repaired could not even see where it had broken. Fantastic craftsman, honest and reliable and an excellent guitar player too! I could not recommend you any higher. Thanks again Eric Cameron

Very quick, very friendly service. Extremely good value for money and I can't recommend highly enough. I had raised frets and neck slightly out, it was fixed that evening, I waited for a luthier for over a year in lock down but it was well worth the wait. My guitar is so much better and easier to play. I will be back on a regular basis. If you live in west coast of Scotland and have a guitar, give Eric a call, you will not be disappointed.

The plastic nut had sheared on one of my guitars (a Takimine G series) right at the bottom E string. Took it to Eric and he replaced the old nut with a new 'tusk' one, put new strings on and set up the guitar to lower the action slightly. It now plays and sounds better than ever. Also had a great chat about guitars, bands, songwriting and he even gave me some advice on recording software. I'd highly recommend Eric to anyone and will certainly be a returning customer.

I was looking to resuscitate my old electric guitar which had been gathering dust and had the great fortune of finding Eric’s website. Eric accommodated me the same day and had my guitar professionally setup in a couple of hours. The guitar sounds great. He also very kindly supplied me with a new tremolo arm which I had lost. Took Banjo to Eric for set up as it was not quite right when I bought it from the shop in Glasgow. Eric set it up for me and it's playing great. Charge was £25 worth every penny and that's half what the shop would charge, would definitely recommend.

I came looking for advice on lowering the string action on my Ibanez Talman TCY12E Electroacoustic. After talking it over on the phone, I provided my guitar and a new set of strings, and received it back later that same day. My guitar now has a wonderful low action thanks to a thoughtful modification to the bridge. All of the string buzzing I had beforehand is gone. Eric is wise, patient and enthusiastic. We talked at length over my own ideas, and I value that as much as the work on the guitar itself.

My Lowden 012 is probably about 25-26 years old and was in need of some TLC. New nut, troublesome B-String ("sitaring" Eric told me and has been all those years!), frets needing sorting and action lowering. Eric has done a brilliant job. The guitar is now the best it has ever been both in terms of tone and playability. The B is now perfect. I would absolutely recommend him and trust him regardless of the value of your instrument.

Delighted with recent repairs, sympathetically undertaken, on my family heirloom, Neapolitan Mandolin. The instrument was made around 1900 and belonged to my Grandad. It hadn’t been played or playable since the mid 1950’s. My Mum and her two sisters were over the moon to see and hear the mandolin as they remembered it. Thank you Eric.

In 1983 some idiot whom I had allowed to hold my beloved 1972 Gibson Les Paul custom dropped it. This resulted in the headstock hanging off a huge crack in the neck and the fretboard had come away at the neck I gave it to Eric who did a remarkable job of repairing the damage and 35 years later its still looking and playing beautifully He has carried out many repairs and upgrades to my instruments over the years all to his usual very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending his work to absolutely anyone
