This shop just popped into my head. I used to shop here way back in the 90s when i was a young goth. We all used to hang about the Modern Art Galleries and up the massive graveyard. I used to buy all my hoodies and cd's from here. I am glad it's still open. I will be taking a trip into visit soon.

Only place i buy music from, amazing vintage records at such great prices. the owner is so nice i wouldnt go anywhere else. Best record shop there is!!

One of the last of the superb music independent shops that is an aladdins cave inside. Tons of viny, merchandise, cds, tapes, posters, shirts, music bags, list goes on. Paul the owner is a proper music loving cool seller.

No idea how much I miss this store during Covid lock Down. Twelve weeks since doors closed. Honestly and sincerely hope it makes it through this. Its an Oasis of Cool. My sanity depends on it. Best selection of quality vinyl in City, spent a couple of hours almost every second Saturday there. Found over 250 classic albums and will be among first to return.Paul is a genuine guy who is easy going, quietly professional and not a rip off merchant like some. Hope to see him when this is over. If your looking for classic Rock, obscure prog rock and blues amongst every jondre at proper prices then you won't find any finer, and if you can't he will do his very best to track it down for you.

I visited Record Fayre for the first time on Thursday. I only had time for a quick browse through the vinyl as Mrs. G had other plans for me unfortunately. I was totally impressed by the service,layout,and friendliness. I managed to buy a few old favourites and I must add that the condition of the 2nd hand purchases was excellent,and priced well too. Will definitely be back.

Favourite shop in Glasgow. As a band tee shirt collector this is Mecca. I have been all over North America and Europe sourcing certain obscure pieces and Record Fayre hands down beats them all for selection. Also, if there is something specific you are looking for the man himself will check directly with his supplier to try and get it for you. Don’t spend your hard earned cash on a generic band tee from HMV etc that 100 other people have come here and get something more unique. No bootlegs. All official.

Usually find something I don't need but the price is always low, so why the hell not? The owner doesn't pump up prices when an artist pegs it neither which is commendable. Great shop, especially if you like rock 😷

I don't know 'how' anyone could rate this shop with One Star ? What did they think they sold ?? Yes, theres lots of 'Rock' but there is Other Stuff, IF you LOOK ! Boz Scaggs was in that section but he's known for a few Dance-ish tunes too. Must be Someone from Another Shop ?
