We are so pleased we decided on Spud The Piper to play the bagpipes on our wedding day. He was very professional, down to earth, a real feel good person to have present on your wedding day and we completely trusted him to do his thing! The bagpipes were amazing and a real highlight of the day! He played as guests were arriving, when I walked down the aisle, when we walked out as a married couple, mingled with guests during the drinks reception, played us to the table for dinner and finished off with the Piper’s toast - simply fantastic! 👏🏼 A million thank you’s Spud! My grandmother asked if I could get a piper to play in Reidhaven Square in Keith after she died. It took some time but I eventually found Spud. This man is totally charming and very professional. He arrived in full dress and played in the square in front of the house my grandmother was brought up in. I would highly recommend Spud. I would like to thank him for the kindness he showed to us and how he made it a very special day.

Spud was already booked for our wedding date, so he set us up with a superb army piper called DJ. DJ made our day very special, piping our guests and then me down the aisle, and then managing to get to the reception venue at a separate location before us so that he could pipe our arrival there!

I’d give 100 stars if it would let me. Spud The Piper is in a league of his own. Not only does he look the part in his incredible, traditional, high standard piper outfit, he plays beautifully too. He has a great repertoire of songs, practiced to perfection, which means he can adapt to any venue and encapsulate the mood and tone perfectly. I arranged to have Spud The Piper as a surprise gift for my mother’s birthday trip to the Highlands. It was going to be set on the shores of Loch Linnhe. This meant I had many instructions and needed great communication with STP to pull the surprise off. He was helpful, accommodating and informative at every step. He is a wonderful person to have at a venue because of his warm, kind personality, but yet is very professional and talented. He was on time, in fact early and put my mind at ease throughout. I truly can’t recommend him highly enough! If you’re looking for high class, trust me you’ve found him! My mother said it was the highlight of her entire trip!

Thank you Spud the Piper! Spud piped at our recent wedding at Achnagairn Castle, and he was just fantastic! His piping was a real treat for our guests, especially those who had travelled from overseas and hadn’t been to a traditional Scottish shindig! His Piper’s Toast as we sat down to our wedding meal was my personal favourite. Very funny. Absolute professional with good humour - what else could you ask for!
