Brilliant and warm service. Went in for a gig bag and got the best in there for £20. Super fun case, repaired the zip for me on the spot and she purrs opening and closing now. Then I saw a ready to gig and beautifully made in Japan 1980s Fender Strat (first factory). I come from G&Ls to be fair, and haven't really ever found a strat I've got on with that was affordable. Just wow. The tone. The playability. Knew it was a good thing in the shop, but now it's home with me, it's really stunning me. Can't stop smiling. I wouldn't sell it for twice what I paid for it. Best money spent on a guitar in my life. Beautiful set up. These guys know what's up. Full of love and soul and I finally have hung it up to go to bed after an 8 hour journey home. Highlight of my trip to Glasgow. See you again.

In Glasgow for the day and on the lookout for a used distortion pedal. Tried all the "bigger" shops with no joy before finding this place. What a fabulous shop, full of all sorts of second hand goodies for beginners and up to high end stuff. Really friendly atmosphere and staff couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable. Didn't get the distortion pedal but came away with a lovely MXR analogue delay. Just a shame this place is a 6hr drive from home!

Amazing people, Rachel, Paula and Louise are very Helpful, there Guitars are of great Quality and value for money, purchased a Semi acoustic Fender at £200 it's the best sounding Guitar in my Collection, would Highly recommend, put my Epiphone Rivera 93 in for Restringing and Replacement Spring in the Bigsby, in for 3 hours and will be playing it Shortly. Happy days. 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 🎸 Guitar Heaven. Don't go to Guitar Guitar, this is definitely a Place for excellence service.

The staff here are the best at what they do, there's no other way to swing it, just genuinely lovely people that love guitars. I had to take my pride and joy to a nearby shop for some work as Strung Out was closed at the time and I've had to take it back several times because it kept coming back worse than when it went in, so all of lockdown I've had no desire to pick up any instrument. My better half bought me a surprise new 12 string beauty that needed some love, luckily got an appointment here and thanks to them I have fallen in love all over again. I can't thank the staff enough and will be bringing many more of my guitars here very soon.

I have had a total repair and set up and have had too leave my guitar with them as I have been going through a very serious health problem. So my guitar has been with the shop for sometime, they have been amazing with me and I would just like to thank all at Strung out for their patience and grace, through this very difficult period in my life. A nice feel about this place, and very helpful and pleasant staff. The only reason not a 5 star, the last time they did a set up for me, it actually was pretty bad, ended up having to do it myself to improve it. Very strange as they've done work for me before and it was great.

Awesome set up of my 12 year old Takamine acoustic. Staff were very helpful and friendly and great communication of what they recommended doing with my guitar. Would definitely be using their services again.

If I could use 6 stars, I probably would. My experience with strung out has been second to none. I approached them about selling a bass guitar of mines which I had been struggling to sell. They managed to sell my guitar for what I was hoping and nothing was a problem. Thanks to Paul who explained during my first visit where I can take up guitar repair as I am interested from a hobbyist perspective. All in all, great people who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your experience in their store.

Had a great experience taking my white MIM strat in for a health check and set up. After speaking to Euan, he explained it just needed a few tweaks instead of a full new set up. And it now plays great. Louise phoned a few days later just ask how I would like the tremelo set up. All in all a good experience.In the past I have found guitar shops intimidating due to the attitude of some staff members but Strung out were very friendly from start to finish. Will definitely return for any future work or accessories I need.

The staff are helpful and friendly, they have a great collection of handmade guitars. I seen amps at a fraction of there normal price which I wasn't accepting. If you're a musician or just interested in guitars pop down and have a look!

Great service. They've done a whole range of jobs on for me over the years from setups to repairs and refurbs, all to a very high standard. The smallish selection of SH instruments is always worth checking out too. There are some gems from time to time.

Amazing staff and so talented! Took a guitar down just before christmas, not only did they change the strings as asked, but also cleaned it up, fixed the electrics, and made it sound (and look) incredible! They also made sure it was all ready for Christmas Day. Thank you!

Been going here for past 10 years or so and the customer service is simply outstanding!! Staff really know they're onions and unlike the big chains they won't rip you off. Great business.

This is, by a country mile, the most professional and helpful musical instrument repair shop that I've come across on either side of the pond. Wouldn't trust anyone else.
