From first contact the band and their team were wonderful. They gave advice, supported and carried out all our requests both before and during our wedding. They were responsive to email and generally lovely. We had a 3 piece ceilidh band for 1.5 hours of our wedding then a disco for the remainder of the evening and all our guests absolutely loved it and had a great time thank you so much to the Jiggers!

We booked the Jiggers for our Wedding in Aberdeenshire in November 2022 and are so pleased that we did! We had the four piece band which was the perfect size for a lively, packed dance floor and a DJ for the last couple of hours. The band were super friendly, very responsive to emails on the lead up to the day and most importantly their music was fantastic!

Recently hired the Jiggers for a function through work. We were hosting a large international group and this was their first experience of a Ceilidh. Band leader David took them through all the steps and was very patient while everyone got the hang of the dashing white sergeant! Would definitely work with them again and recommend for a good time!

Couldn't be more happy with the service received. Worked with them for my wedding day after a different Ceilidh Band became unresponsive. We were provided an excellent DJ and Piper but the Jiggers were also flexible with us when we backed out of actually having the ceilidh band because of Covid restrictions. Their flexible and fair approach really helped to ease some stress for us on the lead up to the big day! While we didn't end up with a Ceilidh band the other services provided were top notch and i would imagine that the ceilidh band themselves would be too! The jiggers played at my wife and I's wedding. They were absolutely fantastic. The caller kept all of our non Scottish guests right and the band played a great selection of dances. Everyone had a brilliant time! Then to top it all off they played a fantastic disco for the final few hours of the wedding. I cannot recommend the Jiggers enough to anyone looking for a good ceilidh band.

Absolutely excellent! We have been to several ceilidhs where The Jiggers were playing and they really know how to get people on the dance floor. They call the dances clearly, and get the balance of different dances just right. We booked them for our wedding and got lots of positive comments from our guests about how great the band was. The Orcadian strip-the-willow was a real highlight!

The Jiggers did a fabulous job at our wedding 4th August 2018! They kept the dance floor full for the entire evening throughout the ceilidh and the disco (an empty dance floor is always a worry for a bride and groom!). They arrived on time and set up promptly, ready for our first dance. The caller made it really easy for the guests who had never done a ceilidh before (which was probably over a third of them!). I found it difficult when looking for a band/DJ to find a supplier that offered both live music and a disco too; it is great to have the option of having a disco after your ceilidh. All communications with Jake were timely and professional ensuring my mind was at ease and I could enjoy my day.

I have been to a number of ceilidhs over the years, a few of which where The Jiggers have played. I can honestly say that the ceilidhs were always more enjoyable at the ones where The Jiggers were the band. They teach the audience how to do each of the different dances before going into them full gusto. They have a lot of enthusiasm and energy and really know how to get people dancing. I can't recommend them highly enough.
