My daughter absolutely loves learning to play the piano with Ross. She looks forward to every lesson and her review after each lesson is that it was 'Amazing!' She is really keen to practise and says that lessons are fun. Ross is an excellent teacher! I would definitely recommend.

Ross is an excellent piano teacher. my 11 years old daughter has been learning piano from Ross for the last 12months and she made significant progress and more importantly she developed more interest in her learning. I think Ross helped in that a lot. He is very professional in his teaching at the same time makes lesson a lot of fun according to my little one:) His communication is excellent too, the lesson note helps parents tract the progress and I think that the automated invoicing system is very practical and convenient. I would recommend Ross to anyone wants to learn Piano and I have to mention that Ross made online piano lesson as practical as in person lesson.

I contacted Ross when I was looking for online piano lessons. He responded quickly and it was very easy to get registered to start lessons with his online system. Ross is an excellent teacher, professional but still fun and pushes you just enough to make it challenging but not seem impossible. I began my first lessons with Ross Just over three months ago as a mature student. Following retirement some years ago, I felt that I needed a new interest, and the need to follow a long time desire to learn Piano. I felt a little apprehensive and concerned at first that I may not be able learn to read music at my time of life, however I have found Ross to be an excellent teacher, he is patient, very reassuring and is very encouraging when I struggle with certain pieces. Ross is highly qualified and I would recommend Ross to anyone wishing to start Piano, whether they are young or elderly (as myself). Ross is an excellent teacher. He has a very professional manner, is highly organised and efficient whilst at the same time being very friendly and approachable. He has always been extremely flexible with regards to organising lessons and is more than happy to liaise with other students on my behalf in order to rearrange any classes that I am unable to attend. I chose Ross because of his personality but also because of his accreditation with Gloucester university, his high level of experience ( he has been teaching privately for over 8 years) and due to his students achieving superior results, which are available to view on his website. From day one he has been a very patient teacher he is positive and encouraging and I have gained a lot of confidence since starting my lessons with him. He teaches both piano and musical theory and every week he sets us new goals and challenges according to our individual progress. We chart our home practice sessions using a paper log that Ross designed specifically for us. I find this very useful as it enables me to look back and see a visual representation of how I have progressed, and I really feel like I am moving forward each week. His teaching style is professional but hugely fun at the same time. Ross has an extensive knowledge of music and musical theory and that’s very apparent in his teaching, however he is still able to explain things in a very digestible, clear and easy to understand manner. He always listens to any questions or problems that I have, and I feel like he really cares about helping me progress as a student. Any criticism is always constructive, calm and done in a way that motivates me to want to get better and learn more. He prepares students for exams through scheduled mocks which is something that I find highly valuable and helps us to achieve the best result we possibly can on the day.

Although I'm over sixty and have played musical instruments all my life (guitar, violin, flute, cello, viola, ukulele, boran amongst others), the piano has always been my Nemisis. I've been able to play about 6 pieces of music on the piano for the last 50 years (much to the annoyance of my neighbours). My main problem has been an inability to read music for both hands at the same time, and then make them actually work together (it really is true that there are times when the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing). I found Ross after an extensive search for someone to take on an old wrinkly like me - and was delighted when he said he would. Over the last 18 months or so Ross has given me the confidence a) to give it a go, b) to do so in my own time and c) to challenge myself. I look forward to my lessons and practice a lot. I have been introduced to wonderful musicians like Ludovico Einaudi and composers like Bach and Pescetti. I don't chase grades, but use them as a measure of how far I have come. I've gone from hardly any piano to grades 5/6. Ross comes highly recommended. His gentle, fun approach was just what I needed. Thank you Ross! I'll be forever grateful.
