Brilliant crew, I've been using them since they opened, years now. The equipment is the thing, very good spec and always working and sounding great. Owner is a drummer too so there's always good kits for those poor souls who can only hit things. Great amps for those even dumber guitar players like me too, so win win. Wouldn't go anywhere else to be honest, and the rate card is great too, so why would I?

Used the spaces for rehearsing in large and small bands, recording and drum practice. Convenient, well kitted out, and helpful staff. Everyone there is a musician so they understand what a good studio needs to provide. The booking system is easy, and they get back in touch quickly. Very happy and continue to return. And they sell monster munch!

Been using this spot for years and they only get better as time goes by. Helpful and friendly staff, great gear, good parking area. Can’t recommend enough to people needing a jam space.

Really good location. Has a great and unique feel to it. Prices are decent and they were really helpful running us through the P. A. System in the room.
Definitely recommend brixton Hill studios. If you're keen on a rehearsal space in south london there aren't any better than this.

Brixton Hill is an excellent practice space for band rehearsals. Backline gear is well kept and of a decent standard, and comes with the room price. Very useful when you live in London and don’t want to carry all your gear on the bus! The Staff and Owner are very helpful and welcoming which helps create a great atmosphere to make music in. Storage space is also available at reasonable rates which is an added bonus. The booking system works very well too, you get a confirmation email with all the details of your booking and T&Cs etc. Again, very handy, as you can then forward this to your band-mates. All in all a great place, highly recommend!

Ok rehearsal rooms, fair priced and staff is helpful. Heating and Air cond work well and you can regulate the temperature yourself with a remote. Only thing the equipment is quite dated and not always we were able to make it work. Also the sound quality not the best.

We've been using Brixton Hills Studios for the last couple of years, they are BRILLIANT. The spaces and equipment that are available are great, and we are well looked after by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. It has a good community and creative atmosphere, where you meet other musicians, find opportunities, get gigs etc. We have carried on using this studio because it is hands down a better experience than we've had anywhere else.

Great place, not too hard to find but there is a bit of construction work going on right now. Just look for the big sign set back a bit from the main road. Went to the studio for a drumming lesson. Katie is a fantastic teacher making you realise how some things are more simple than you think. There's plenty of kit and rooms for hire so yeah, this was a great experience.

Our band have been using Brixton Hill Studios for over two years and even-though we’re no longer local its still a first choice for a band practice!
The drum kit is amazing in the large room, and there is a nice selection of Vox and Orange amps. The rooms are clean with top notch PA equipment. It’s really easy to book online and they also email you a receipt which we find helpful.
There is also a handy little shop which sells snacks, strings and drum sticks, But most importantly you get free tea and coffee!

I love this place. I've rehearsed in all the rooms and they all sound amazing. The smaller rooms have really worked for us for writing and the larger ones for working towards live stuff. The staff are brilliant and the vibe in general, totally recommend.

Have recorded and rehearsed there on several occasions - excellent service. Good rooms and the cleanest toilet I have ever experienced in a well-used musicians space, which is a good indication of the general state of play.

Getting there:
On public transport I got the bus Via Brixton.
Walking from Brixton is 5-10min I think.
It's set back from the road quite a way so keep your eyes pealed.
Its next to a building site at the moment so access on foot can be a little messy.
Parking wise it seems to have quite a few off street spaces out side the front.
Was in Room 3 I think.
Equipment:
Standard fare for London Practise rooms.
I'm a drummer and just bought Snare & Cymbals (Ask for felts & Clutch at the front desk) as usual the hardwares normally a bit pants, but does the job.
Rest of the equipment seemed ok.
You can rent keys from them too for a price.
All in all, decent space not to hard to get to, nice, reasonable people, better than most practise rooms.

We were in the large room.
Arrived at the studio and plugged in and everything worked.
Staff were very helpful at getting a sound going and it rocked!
Also having complimentary cups of tea and coffee is also awesome.
Will deffo use the studio again.

This place is fantastic. Superb PAs, monitors, and backline/drum gear. Been rehearsing here for just over a year and will not go anywhere else.
Professional gear, helpful staff, full on muso-community spirit.
Say hello to any other bands milling about. They're bound to be interesting.

It's a well kept secret in the bizness but BXHS is probably the greatest studio complex bar none in the whole universe with probably the best sound sculpturer (engineer does not do him justice) walking Earth at this moment Mr G Oblin Mage of the mixing desk. The staff are friendly knowledgable and underpaid. While the owner is an ever expanding lump of lovestuff.
