Groove Instinct are FAB. I first heard the band at a work party in May this year and thought they were great. They sounded amazing and their choice of music for the event was spot on. I then booked them for our wedding in mid-November 2012 and they surpassed my expectations. Charlie was really helpful in the run up to the event and the band were really kind in learning the song that we wanted for our first dance and, yet again, both the live and "disco" music was just right for our crowd of youngsters, oldies, wrinklies and crumblies. Everyone kept commenting on how great and fun they thought the band and music were. I will definitely be suggesting and recommending Groove Instinct to anyone that asks. Thank you to Charlie and co - you really helped make a special event even better :-) A

We booked Groove Instinct as a very last minute addition to our wedding, and to be honest from start to end they were amazing. We had initially booked an alternative wedding band through an agency, who unfortunately cancelled on us 4 days before the ‘big day’. Obviously, to a stressed out bride to be this was my worst nightmare, however little did I know, Charlie – the bands main point of contact, would not only be my knight in shining armour, but also a great source of calming support. After being told by the initially agency that there were no other suitable bands available at such short notice, I began seeking recommendations from friends and other professionals within the industry, and Groove Instinct’s details came up twice. I had seen them play at a friend’s wedding previously and just remember them keeping the dance floor packed, and the quality of music being varied and professional – and they didn’t disappoint! From my initial enquiry, to sorting the finer details about times and lighting, Charlie and his band mates were fantastic. They arrived early to practice playing our first dance so we were able to have our unique special version of this and everything ran smoothly. They were able to take requests and pitched the evening perfectly to keep those from 15 – 75 years entertained and excited, and the constantly packed dance floor was reverence to this. We knew the evening had been a huge success by the chanting of ‘one more song’ at the end which developed into an acoustic Karaoke style of Queen’s, We will Rock You; that left the evening ringing in our ears and meant everyone left on a high! Such an amazing day! I would highly recommend Groove Instinct and hope that our paths will meet again in the future! Thanks again to you all!

Charlie and the band are AMAZING! We were recommended Groove Instinct by some friends for our Wedding Reception, and after looking into their playlist we decided to book them! Booking was really simple, Charlie was very prompt with finalising everything, and replying to any questions we had. On the night, they were wonderful, set such a great atmosphere and got the crowd going! With DJ too, the transition between DJ and band is so smooth! We definitely would recommend Groove Instinct to anyone for a fabulous and entertaining evening! :)

We booked Groove Instinct for our wedding reception, and they were wonderful! All of the correspondence in advance was great. Set up on the day was very smooth, we weren't aware of any problems and the band were very unobtrusive in their set up despite being in the same room as all of the guests. Obviously the actual sets were the highlight though! We had so many good comments from our guests and the dance floor was packed all night! The singer had great rapport with our guests - in fact a few of the lads would have liked to get to know her a bit better! I couldn't recommend this band more highly!

Groove Instinct played for the evening reception of my daughter's wedding on June 2nd 2012. They were absolutely fantastic and played a really wide range of songs which appealed to everyone at the reception and really helped to generate a great atmosphere. They responded superbly accommodatingly to the odd request and air guitar track requests from myself but this should not detract from the superb set that they themselves played which filled the dance floor in its own right. They in fact played three sets which were timed to perfection. In addition to all of this they really embraced our celebration by simply having a great time along with us. 100% recommended by us for your wedding or celebration without any reservation whatsoever.

WOW WOW WOW!!! Groove Instinct played at our wedding 2nd March 2013, and what a fantastic band they are! We had Kirsten (lead singer) and pianist do some songs 1stly at our wedding ceremony. We chose the songs and they put their stamp on it. I am a massive fan of Kirsten Joy's, her voice is unbelieveable, I would reccomend to anybody to watch her vids on you tube. Her performance was so flawless infact, that alot of guests that didnt see her singing in the room thought I had a cd playing, they was asking me who the artist on my cd was, that was singing that version of the song!! Kirsten sung "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge whilst I was walking down the aisle and there wasnt a dry eye anywhere!! We then had the band play in the evening as well as the disco that they supply. I had previously made alot of song choices for the band and disco which were played in amoungst their own chosen ones, and the whole thing worked immensely well, the dance floor was never empty, and we were left all shouting for an encore as we didnt want the night to end!! All of the musicians are faultless and professional. The sound is top quality. Charlie the manager is extremely helpful and polite to deal with the whole way through the process. In all the weddings I have been to that have had a band, I have never seen one as good as this! Trully gives your event the Wow factor!! Amazing. Thank you so much Groove Instinct. Groove Instinct already have so many good reviews and here is one more, to quote another review "WOW WOW WOW" what a night.!! We booked them for our wedding in June 2013 by recommendation without actually hearing them play so a bit of a gamble but it paid off! They were amazing, we loved them and lots of our guests commented on how good they were! They crowned off an amazing fun day for us. They were a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend them. Our only concern is they become famous and will be too busy for our next party!!! Fantastic band, can't praise them enough Neil & Elaine x

we saw Groove Instinct at a wedding a couple of years ago and were determined that we would book them when we had a party ourselves... which we did over the weekend, a bit older and creakier (us, not them) for a 40th... And they were probably even better this time than they were last. They did a great job and went down a storm. They were also fabulous with our two older girls, who are 11 and 9, and had them up on stage loving every minute. Fantastic all round!

I was lucky enough to book Groove Instinct for my 40th last year, after seeing them perform at Dover Street Wine Bar. The theme for the party was Oscar Night and they played brillantly. From the very first song they really got everybody up on the dance floor and it has gone down as the best party EVER!! Im trying towork out a way to book them again!! Would recommend them to anyone!!
