Adam has been a great guitar teacher to both my sons, aged 12 and 14. He's been teaching them for about a year now and they really enjoy their lessons. His encouraging and good-humoured approach has been just right for them. They are more interested, and making more progress, than with their previous teacher. Thanks Adam!

My 11-year son absolutely enjoys his guitar lessons with Adam and always looking forward to it. Adam is a brilliant teacher as our results are fantastic: my child has made a significant progress within a short period of time. On a personal note, Adam is a very friendly, optimistic and easy-going person. Highly recommend!

My son has been learning with Adam for nine months. We find him very kind and encouraging and helpful. My son got a distinction on his exam since he started with Adam. We would recommend him very highly.

Both me (in my 50s) and my 10-year-old daughter are being taught Classical guitar by Adam. He’s incredibly patient, and lessons are always completely relaxed. But at the same time, he manages to maintain a focus and sense of purpose so you always feel like you’re moving forward, progressing and improving. He’s very knowledgeable, on the theory side as well as the practical, and on the various exams if that’s what you’re after. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

I’ve been seeing Adam for about 3 months and it’s been great fun. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to take their guitar skills to the next level.
I had been teaching myself for about 18 months beforehand, and was unsure about what lessons would be like. But it was a great decision. After my first lesson with Adam, I came away with a few really good tips and ideas to think about.
Adam is a top guy, patient, flexible to what I was looking for, and clearly very knowledgeable. We follow a grading system, which is a good way to measure my improvement, and we switch between electric and acoustic, which I really like. I feel motivated and I'm practicing a lot, and I'm keen to keep on shredding with Adam.

I really enjoy my lessons with Adam. I had previous experience of learning guitar both 1-1 and in groups, but still felt like a bit of a beginner. Adam’s attentiveness (and patience!) mean I am still learning individual songs but also focusing on music theory and wider guitar playing techniques, such that I am now taking grading exams.

I've been a student since January and the sessions are excellent, Adam's teaching style is relaxed and patient; his knowledge of so many music genres means that its always easy to relate to sections of music that are being taught .Mixing music theory and practice means that my understanding of the guitar beyond the direct repeating of musical pieces gives me confidence to freestyle and Jam independently. My progression has been really pleasing and I would recommend Adam.

At the age of 75 and after a few years picking the guitar up and strumming l felt like l wanted to be able to learn to properly play it
Though feeling a bit daunted l got in touch with Adam , and started lessons in August 2020 and have continued with regular tuition since.
I feel l’m beginning to develop new skills in my practise and to understand the theory.
He conveys that he is interested in helping me to get the most out of my time with him.
He’s very patient and l feel l’m able with his help to continue to develop and enjoy my new skills .

I have been a student of Adams’for five years.
I was originally apprehensive about the challenge of a new skill as I was 55 year of age.
He made me feel comfortable and kept the classes fun.
I am now at a standard where I sight read music,
I play Spanish, rock & pop with confidence and fluency.
This journey has been truly life changing.
Thank you Adam

I’m a beginner learning acoustic guitar with Adam. Couldn’t be happier with my one to one sessions. He’s attentive, friendly and clear in his teaching. The lessons are well structured and geared towards learning new things all the time, quickly while having a lot of fun doing so. Highly recommended!
