Mark brought my Gibson J30 back life. The cracks were repaired perfectly and the action is spot on. Mark is a super nice guy to deal with. The repair was carried out at a reasonable price with excellent communication throughout. My guitar plays better than ever! If you need a guitar repair, look no further!

I gave Mark two guitars I bought new more than 40 years ago. They were battered and worn but I could never bear to part with them as the sentimental value was too great. Then I met Mark, his skill and patience turned my guitars into brand new, the quality of the restoration is truly amazing; I'm 15 again! I cannot recommend Guitar Repairs London more highly. I'm sorry I can only give you 5 stars because I wanted to give you ten. Thanks again.

Mark was absolutely brilliant. He has a brilliant knowledge and feel of guitars and quickly set up my two guitars.
They have never sounded better.
I couldn’t recommend more.

Really great service from a really nice guy. Brought a damaged old bass in and he returned it to me looking brand new. Good to meet him and will return again with all guitars! Highly recommended

My Maton MS503 electric is over 15 years old, was in storage for the last 3, and needed some help and expertise to get it set back up again. Took it in to Mark and I couldn't be happier with the result: having gotten used to its gradual deterioration over the years without realising, the contrast once I got it back home and started playing was instantly noticeable; it's like new, if not better. Mark definitely knows his stuff, his prices are very reasonable (I guess one of the benefits of not paying for premium real estate on Denmark Street in central London), and as a bonus he's just a really nice guy. He even threw in the spanner he went out and picked up specifically for my slightly unusually-sized truss rod.
Maximum stars, would highly recommend to anyone.

Mark provided a fantastic service to my guitar which I had rather neglected in damp garage whilst between places. He removed a bunch of rust from the pickups and internal circuitry, cleaned it, restrung it, sorted the intonation as well and did so for an extremely reasonable price.
The guitar has been brought back to life and positively sings now. Mark is clearly passionate about guitars and music in general and we had a nice chat too. I'm really chuffed with this and will be coming back with any and all guitar needs in future.

I had to have the jack soldered and volume pot changed on my strat. Mark did a great job at a very fair price and next day pick up. Highly recommended if you need any work doing locally!

Great service and great value from a cool guy. I took in a couple of guitars to be professionally set up and Mark did a great job.
One of the guitars I'd recently bought second hand and the difference in playability is night and day. The guitars have never sounded better! Highly recommended.

I can't recommend Mark highly enough. He installed new machine heads on a vintage dreadnought of mine which involved drilling new fixings. Not a simple job, but he made it sound very simple and completed it within a couple of days. He's also a top bloke and a total pleasure to deal with - I've only just met the guy but would trust him wholeheartedly with any job. Nice one Mark, you're a legend!

My Tokai Telecaster needed some new pick ups (Tonerider Alnico Blues II), but the holes were not big enough for the bridge one..so I had to find someone to do the job cost..effectively.
So after I looked up on some reviews Mark was the right person and he was indeed.
I took my guitar to him.. he said what is needed and he called me after few days to come and pick up the guitar.
When initially told me the price, I though it was about to set up the guitar as well..
When the time came to pick up the guitar he asked me if I wanted to do the soldering etc.. and I said I thought..black black black.. I am gonna do it my self..
So when I arrived there the guitar had everything on again..
And when I asked him why..he replied "because you thought..." so he asked me the same price.
Only for that Mark now became the spot for me.
I would recommend that place with no second thought.

Mark is a highly knowledgable guitar guru. He was able to greatly improve what was already a decent Professional Stratocaster, with expert parts, service and speed. He even spared the time to teach me a few odd tricks I’d never known about, despite my years of professional experience.
Excellent service, excellent experience and just the person you want to work on your instrument. Will definitely be back again, don’t know when since he really fixed my instrument up good!

Mark recently took care of my Les Paul which had a “classic” neck break. The fix and finish is outstanding, better than I ever expected considering the state it was in beforehand!
He also did a much needed setup and restring and it now plays better than it ever has; so I would recommend his services to anyone and definitely go back to him for any further guitar needs!

Mark lives up to the reviews! I asked him to lower the strings of my guitar and he did a great job. He suggested I do a bit of a service, I was hesitant at first but decided to go for it and I'm really glad I did as the guitar feels and sounds completely different!
Really quick service and very reasonably priced.
I definitely recommend you give him a call if you have any questions.

Really Quality service. I’ve taken two guitars to Mark now. One old acoustic needed actual structural repair and now is as good as new, while my electric needed set up changes and now plays beautifully.
I also left my guitar with Mark right before lockdown and so couldn’t come and collect for around two months. He was incredibly patient with me throughout, offering me plenty of options to pick up and never pressuring me to pick up. A real demonstration of how trustworthy and honest the service is. Highly recommend.

Took in a guitar that needed a lot of love after not being played for a long time. Mark sorted out all the issues I had with it as well as the general service it needed. Get your action and intonation setup professionally it will make a world of difference to your playing. I don't remember the guitar sounding this good when it was new!

Can't recommend Mark highly enough. He really goes the extra mile and takes great pride in his work. After doing a great job on a Les Paul I took a Floyd Rose strat to him that turned out to need more than just the new bridge I had purchased. Despite this Mark found a solution to the issues and got the strat working perfectly. Highly recommended

Mark did a great job bringing a slightly neglected 5 string bass back to life. Great set up - tailored to my specific requirements, great clean and polish and great service throughout. 100% will be using again.
L. J.
Mark was very knowledgeable, friendly and skilful. He was helpful in working out what would would be the best way of installing my mods and the repairs he did to my guitars were great and have made them so much more playable. Couldn't recommend enough!
K. R.
Had a really good experience with Mark. Great guy and a quality luthier. He did a neck replacement and set-up on my fender strat and it feels like a brand new instrument. He also involved me a lot in the process a lot which I really liked, even inviting me to play the guitar before it was finished to get my opinion on where to go with the setup. I will be taking all of my guitars to him from now on!

Just took my Les Paul in for an electrical repair as well as some adjustments. Mark invited me into his workshop and did the work while I waited, explaining everything to me as he went along. He charged a very reasonable price for the work required. I would 100% recommend to anyone that is looking to have any work done on their guitar. Professional, friendly and honest!

Mark’s a top bloke and did a great job breathing life back in to my Les Paul which had been kept under a bed for the last decade (following years of misuse as a teen!) Great communication throughout and I’m now back home with a great sounding Guitar which I promise to treat properly from now on! Would 100% go back again in the future.

I'm a total novice - my guitar has been languishing for 10 years unused. Mark serviced and restrung it and I'm now determined to learn. Would definitely recommend Mark.

Marks a top Dude turned my strat into a fire breathing monster

Dropped off my Squier for a basic setup and more than happy with the results. Far easier to play (which is key for a beginner like me) and Mark even gave me a free set of strings as he'd put some of his own on without realising I'd dropped a set off with the guitar! He was also happy to just sit, chat, answer my many questions and even talk me through a bit of beginner theory - nice little bonus!

This place is amazing. Mark, the chap who runs it, has been incredibly helpful and every job I've had done there has been top quality. From getting my Les Paul refretted to trying and changing pickups or even getting a pedal modified, he has always taken the time to ensure I was getting the best service possible. I can't thank him enough, he's really helped me improve my guitars as well as my tone. He has a wealth of knowledge and is always courteous and happy to help. Can't recommend that shop enough!

I took my Gibson Les Paul for a service and I got it back in one day. Amazing service and Mark was very helpful. Would recommend 100%

Mark was a pleasure to deal with. I was able to get my bass rewired on the same day of inquiry. Mark carried out more work than was initially discussed but charged the same price we first agreed. I would highly recommend his services.
S. D.
Great experience with Mark. Took 4 guitars to him (2 electrics, 2 acoustics) in varying states of playability. All 4 were ready quickly, at a good price and with great communication throughout. Highly recommend and will visit again when needed. The workshop is also very cool - an Aladdin's cave of curious music gear!

I recently came to Mark with a couple of guitars - a Jaguar and Gretsch Electromatic. The Gretsch had some wiring issues and the Jag I was looking at changing pickups, as I wasn't happy with the tone from factory.
What I really appreciated during the process was Mark's counsel - super knowledgeable, and is able to give you solid recommendations even if you can't 100% articulate what it is you're after.
The best thing I can say about the work is that both guitars have seen a marked improvement in playability and tone.
If I were to recommend a luthier to any peers, I would send them to Mark, no question. He knows his stuff, genuinely works with you to get the most of your instrument, and is a thoroughly decent guy to boot.

Mark picked up my Martin HJ-28 as he drove near my house and returned it 2 days later having serviced the instrument, lowered the action and replaced the strings. Plays really well now, a significant improvement. Great Service!!

I had a full set up for my floyd rose guitar. Mark did an excellent work on the actual set up and also the cleaning/polishing. Highly recommended.

Really happy with the service. Took my acoustic in for some work. Was quoted two week turnarounds by many other repair places and Mark did it on the same day at a great price. Really highly recommend!

Guitar Repairs London are brilliant, Mark has worked on many of my guitars, and every time they have come back greatly improved. Mark is extremely knowledgable about the history and evolution of guitars both electric and acoustic. Discussing what should be done to a particular guitar is an education, Mark is very good at working out what I want, his workmanship is of a very high level, and the cost is never excessive.
K. V.
Popped down and saw Mark earlier on to sort the action out on my guitar. Work done all within just a few hours. Great guy, really pleasant and easy to talk to and had all the time in the world for me when I bombarded him with a tonne of questions. VIP service. Highly recommend
