T. S.I went here to see Tears For Fears doing a signing. They were really nice though I was rambling out of being starstruck. The staff were friendly and helpful and the guys in the band were lovely. I bought the new album which I got signed. Only problem was the record had a couple of scratches on it but I intend to resolve the minor issue. In general a good retailer
M. V.Not a bad store. Service is very good and the workers are helpful but, whomever chooses what to stock and how to decorate is really bad at it. This is the same in all HMV stores making them somewhat uninteresting. The stores are generally dark, boaring, predictable and expensive. It's easy to find other stores with the same merchandise and more resonable prices. If it was expensive but fresh and original it would certainly be more appealing. Hopefully a change will come for the better and bring it to what we were used to.
I. W.One of the last HMV shops (I only know of Portsmouth and Bromley). Usual array of CD, DVD and merchandising. These shops are the best way to find new things to listen to, as radio seems to just play dance rubbish.
S. M.It's ok. Nothing really special. Good place if you want to buy vinyls as a good selection. However dvds, CDs expensive given they are becoming old hat. Also no longer sell games

A. R.Great that London still has a pretty big HMV store this is located in the Westfield shopping centre in white city. Lots of vinyl Funko pops memorabilia and of course movies and other music one for a lover of pop culture.

D. “.Decent I wanted the posters nd that so idk bout the rest of the shop but all the best posters are always out of stock. Still some flames in stock though. Decent prices too so yea I guess go there if u want.
e.it took me extremely long to find the shop, but in the end, was it worth it? yes. across two floors, this hmv branch sells hundreds of vinyl and cds from hundreds of artists, obviously the artists are easy to find because of the lettered signs. they had what i needed in stock and i got a discount!!!
J. L.I don't normally give fives stars. This store is excellent. They have a section near the stairs for exotic food from the U.S.A and Japan. The Japanese stuff is sweets and soda drinks. On ground zero of the store is also a good collection of new vinyl. Upstairs is a good collection of cd's and DVDs. The prices are really good. Unless you are after a really special album or collection. Even then the maximum price I saw was just over £20. Very good store and great location within Westfield.

K. G.HMV is always at the top of my list to visit whenever I travel to the UK from the US. I never fail to find a couple of solid selections of CDs and even region free Blu-Rays to bring back home with me. Staff are helpful and friendly. I'll keep coming back!

S. B.I think this is the only HMV in South London that survived. Any other branch is a distance. I went to this store today & for the first time in ages & it was great. The store is easy enough to locate, there's enough space for customers to browse & they have a decent amount of films & merchandise for those who like to collect. Staff are friendly too.

t. s.HMV rises from the flames of closure like a phoenix. They seem to have realised they need to lower their prices a bit to compete with the Amazon and Zavvi of the internet too (finally). Also, bonus points awarded for the throne they provided for the Porg tour. All hail the Porg.

V.Best HMV I've been to, customer service was brilliant, the staff went the extra mile they could and really knew about what they were selling, in regards to artists and music. Even at the till, I had a conversation with the person who served me, Sam, who informed me about the artists local concerts which was great to hear!

G. R.Great selection of music from cds and vinyl. The vinyl collection is pretty bit compared to others and if they don't have the vinyl/cd you are looking for they can order it. I was disappointed to see that they don't sell singles and cassettes. Also the staff can be helpful but not necessarily the best customer service in the world.

K. N.Different sections are made out clearly as the shop has a nice layout and flow to it. Sales area is efficient and not messy like you find in some shops - the only slight issue being the hoodie stand going too far down vertically as not everybody can get to the floor easily or at all.

A. Z.Large shop with great customer service. I was able to converse with someone at the till and have a laugh, which is very rare for me. They have a large selection of DVDs and CDs and I’m satisfied with that. Although, I hope they can implement more video game products and merchandise in there.

L. L. T. N. K.I'm a collector of DVDs and sometimes I can't find films I'm looking for, but HMV always has them and at great prices. The staff is very pleasant too and it's just a wonderful place overall. I can't recommend this place enough.

They now have a huge vinyl collection which is fairly priced and personalised music recommendations and reviews from the staff in the store itself. Additionally, there are often offers of their products (such as DVDs) and the book collection is greater than before, with many cult classics.
Just an all round good place to spend some time browsing, even without purchasing. For those familiar with the store FNAC available in other countries, HMV seems to be moving closer to that model (imo a good thing!).
D. L.The staff here is always very knowledgeable and very helpful. Personally I love the place and I could spend hours browsing around, from vinyls to horror movies to documentaries. It's definitely worth a visit (they have very cheap record players)

Alive and flipping kicking somehow against all the odds. In a world of almost purely online entertainment, it's great to see them standing. It's different searching through rows of tangible items. Here, they also sell Vinyl! Like real physical Vinyl. They sell tons, of DVDs, T-shirts, posters, other electronics and CDs as well. Not to mention the sprawling toys, games and nostalgic geekery aplenty. Theres bound to be something for someone this Christmas. The staff were also awesome. Relaxed and knolegable. Yep I still hate Westfield though. Why not make your stay shorter by visiting here first.

Clean and organised location, however the selection of certain things are limited.

There is a good selection of dvds bluerays .tee shirts books Cds .
But for me the best part of the shop is the ever expanding vinyl section .the vinyl now stretches almost from the front door to the paying desk
As a vinyl enthusiast i love thumbing through the racks
The only thing i don't like is the technology section why ? Because HMV sell really bad turntable makes i only saw one good turntable from Audio Techica
The headphones are beats hardly
audiophile quality
Another tech company called the house of marley .thier products are generally not well reviewed in top hi fi magazines
Anyway on a more positive note staff are very freindly and helpful
S. R.I remember going in there years ago and it was really good. 90% of the customers are goths and scruffy 20 somethings now though. At least they are spending money in there and keeping HMV still going.

a. t. o. v. J. F. Y.Staff are very helpful, as a kpop fan I was very pleased that they have a kpop area full of albums at an affordable price. Albums are priced from around £20 to under £30. They had albums of BTS, Blackpink, Red Velvet ect ect. They have a few posters related to kpop as well as anime. Favourite shop in Westfield, I always come in for a look possibly buy something.

L. C.What's the deal with shops nowadays? It's they aren't playing music at the most loud volume possible apparently they are not happy. And it's uncomfortable to shop like that. The whole time you are waiting to get out of there before you get a freaking headache. I must not be the only one who thinks that.
Apart from that, the usual HMV with the usual deals. I rather go to the one at Oxford's Street, malls stress me.
