Good record shop. Also has amall but solid selection of beers. The range includes some London stuff, with a particular emphasis on Inkspot during my visit, along with other stalwarts like Cloudwater. Decent prices. Nice record selection, too, with a heavy range of electronic and related genres. Some coffee and chocolate on offer as well. Worth popping in if you're on Well Street, but not a destination for beer on its own.

I personally love this place and have become a regular customer. I have found classic music from bygone years at an amazing price, plus cutting edge new releases, and niche rarities. This is the perfect place to come if you are a music fan, or if your a cool cat in the know looking for the latest. I have also met a couple of well known international deejays in the shop who were buying records. The owner is very passionate about what he does and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. The shop is always playing great music, clean, organised, expertly curated and the pound section is unbelievable. if you like digging you can lose hours here. The selection of music has everything covered, from lionel richie to layo and bushwacka, and michael jackson to mahavishnu orchestra. There is great coffee and cake available, the best millionaire shortbread in hackney will be found here. There are instore events which attract a fun young hip friendly crowd with great upcoming deejay talent. The shop feels very inclusive and i have never felt judged if i bought a cheesy record, plus the listening stations are great with excellent headphones which are also sold in the store. There are a lot of record shops in the local vicinity, i totalled five last time i went out for a walk but this is the place to come, i spend money more or less every time i come here, its one of the few places i can think of where you could buy three classic albums from the pound section have a excellent coffee and a cake for a tenner, plus well street is a true gem with other fantastic shops nearby. Worth a visit, in a world gone insane kristina records is one of the places where i find a bit of sanity

I came into the shop at Christmas with a niche request. Our friend's Christmas party had a competition for who could bring the best record, but with the weirdest album art. The only other rule was that we couldn't listen to the record before the Christmas party. I explained the game to Bradley and he couldn't have been a better selector! Juju and jordash was a wildcard for Christmas party but went down a storm. Plus his EP was mind blowing! Lovely people lovely music!!!!!!

easy one of the best record shops in Ldn - heavy on electronic stuff and well balanced with eclectic selection of more or less obscure classics. Well Street is a wonderful little gem of Hackney <3
