I've never had an experience quite like the one Alan gave us. We went in hoping for a good demo and left with our Jaws dragging along the floor. The studio is incredible, equipment, acoustics, coffee, all on point... But what turns this great set up into a musicians dream is Alan. Even if you're not a musician just go book a slot to hang out with him. He was friendly, helpful, professional, great craic and easily the best engineer I've worked with. Thanks man. Had a blast.

We're gutted to hear of Alan's passing. He was well loved, respected and admired not just for his technical proficiency but his humanity. A legend at rest, sorely missed. Luv ya Al

Went in to record some rough demos with my band. Came out with absolute gold! I could go on go on about how great the studio itself is, how cool the vintage mixing desk, or how much of a bargain it is but the real reason you HAVE to try this place out is Alan! Alan is without a doubt the nicest person to record with and watching him work is like watching a wizard unravel his secrets! We had so much fun, I don't think we want to record anywhere else! I loved this place!!! The atmosphere was relaxed and Alan had the monster mic that made me sound my best. He was extremely helpful and gave great input. I love the fact that he loves his work. That always leads to excellence. His mix made my tracks come to life and he is adorable. Will definitely be doing my next project there. Actually he deserves 10 stars. He definitely went way above the call of duty on my project. And championed getting it finished. Calm. Upbeat. He navigated me through quite a bit of drama and got the job done. Great guy. Going to One Louder Studios was an amazing experience. Top quality set-up with a ridiculously large amount of equipment at your disposal. Despite the quality of the studio itself, I have to say what made this studio session for me was the resident Sound Engineer - Alan just simply knows what he's doing. Efficient, precise and high-quality sound, could not recommend this studio more!

Really great acoustics, and Alan was great, patient, and had awesome editing skills, as well as being really kind (And funny). The studio is quite cramped but is totally soundproof and easy to record in with less distractions.
