Customised, stylish bright interior reflected in the decidedly non-commercial inventory of both new and scrutinised second-hand vinyl.
Dismissing the obvious and favouring more obscure artists, genres, imprints and editions.
A credible selection of divergent late 1970/80/90’s sub-genres and their subsequent associated fellow travellers and kith ‘n kin.
Somewhat a niche specialist catering to fellow enthusiasts and after all, that’s what it’s all about.
The jaded, the adventurous and neophyte listener likely to find an intriguing new world of sound in a pleasant surround here.

Great selection of left field records from new artists as well as a bunch of stuff from the vaults. Great place for a dig or to find something you weren't looking for!

Great shop, small but well picked selection of electronic, post-punk, indie, art rock, ambient etc etc. The guy who runs it is super nice and informative. Would be good to see a few more second hand selections but I guess that’s a space issue. The newsletter is a good un. Highest recommends.

What an incredible shop. There’s an amazing selection of new and used stuff at good prices. Super friendly owners, I honestly couldn’t recommend this place any more - Check it out!

Dipped in late on a Sunday afternoon, lucked out with two second hand pearlers (The Fall and Flat worms) at decent prices.
Engaging owner, good selection. The free sticker made my sticker wall, now that is a sign of a 5 star experience.

A fantastic addition to London's record shopping landscape, World of Echo is filled with an eclectic mix of punk, post-punk, jazz, experimental oddities, kraut-rock and everything in-between. Anyone with a serious interest in music of all genres would struggle to leave here without a least a handful of new records. A great balance between new and second hand records, lots of in-store events, a friendly and knowledgable staff, they've even been known to give out free pastries. What more could you want?

A beautifully presented shop with a brilliant selection of non-mainstream vinyl with friendly and knowledgeable owners. Today I bought two jazz albums plus a record from Thurston Moore's personal collection. If you love music and you're in Columbia Road, you must visit, no excuses!!

Any vinyl lover will deeply appreciate the store’s #1 rule: only sell music in VG or better condition. The collection of EPs and LPs is well curated, N & S put in the work to offer you music you will be hard-pressed to find elsewhere—and at such fantastic prices. Definitely a must-visit store for vinyl junkies.

Nestled among the picturesque shops that line Columbia road, World of Echo is a fantastic new record store.
Specialising in Punk, Post-Punk, New Wave and alternative records, it was a welcome surprise to discover a decent amount of really good Jazz records too.
The owners' have obviously put a lot of time and effort into curating the stock and getting the perfect balance of rare and expensive records, and new releases.
World of Echo is simply a must for any serious record collector.
