I had a tremendous experience here, the guy we had for the session was Stuart Campbell a great guy and very talented at his job. communication from Lisa and then Stuart was excellent from the initial booking all the way through to the final product. The equipment is world class and the general friendliness and hospitality is marvellous! A wonderful relaxing, classy, professional atmosphere. I can't recommend the place highly enough or Stuart he's helped me deliver a marvellous, marketable product! It is extremely well priced for what you get and I can't wait to return again!

Diagnosis 666 has come to Newcastle from Norway twice, with the single purpose to record at Blast. We have made two great records there (The Great Evil Spirit (released 2012) and Apparently Sane (released 2018)), much thanks to Blast. Everybody at Blast has made a great effort to host us in the best possible way. Adam Sinclair is a magnificent sound engineer. He has a great ear for arrangements, and has a steady hand on everything else. Diagnosis 666 found Blast because Therapy? records in Blast. They have made 4 records there, one yet unreleased. Their 3 first albums are splendid, and we expect their unreleased album to be top notch as well. After we found Blast, we never looked back. We will soon be back at Blast. We can highly recommend Blast as a class A studio with top notch people. Great value!

My recent four day recording session at Blast, with George Shovlin and The Radars, was an extremely pleasurable experience. I’ve worked in quite a few top studios over the years and Blast is as good as any of them ...and better than most. The engineer on our session was Dean Thompson ....he was superb and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. If your looking for a recording studio with great facilities, state of the art equipment and friendly, professional staff ...look no further!

Wow! What a place. So, for the uninitiated, Blast Studios is a top notch recording studio, nestled at the top of the uber-cool Ouseburn area of Newcastle. Previous clients include Take That, Andy Taylor from Duran Duran to name but 2. Now, all this might have you thinking pricey setup, run by a bunch of achingly trendy people who have no time for us lesser mortals. Well folks, not a bit of it. Yes, the studio is immensely impressive, with more Quality than a big box of assorted chocolates, but the vibe is so friendly, the team are so relaxed that as soon as we walked in we felt at home. The session we had booked was part of a charity event, for which the studio had given all of their time and facilities for free, and were recording 12 bands over 2 days to support a fundraising L.P. of local acts. Yet there was no sense of rush, no impatient tapping of the watch, but lots of offers of tea, and plenty of support and affirmation. So, Blast Studios. Top, and I mean top quality facility, at affordable prices, run by wonderfully friendly, supportive and talented people. Why the hell would you not use them.

(Translated) I just went to buy a guitar pedal, but I could certainly taste what I saw. Very friendly people, good convenience, cool building, nicely decorated, and friendly people! In one of the city's more hip neighborhoods, just outside the city center, and just far enough from the main road. (Original) Ik ben er gewoon een gitaarpedaal gaan kopen, maar wat ik zag kon ik zeker smaken. Heel vriendelijke mensen, goed gerief, cool gebouw, leuk ingericht, en vriendelijke mensen! In een van de hippere buurten van de stad, net buiten het centrum, en net ver genoeg van de grote baan.
