No matter what type of guitar, acoustic, lead electric, semi-acoustic or bass, John is the man. He will develop your confidence as well as your skill, showing you different techniques to produce the sound you want from simple techniques to the more advance. He has the same patience with anyone who wishes to learn. He can also develop your knowledge of the theory as well as the practical. If you want to learn how to play the guitar John Kenny will teach you from the beginning to the end. He is very knowledgeable on the guitar {accredited with London School of Music under his belt}. I met John through a add many years ago, I wanted to learn how to play lead guitar as I was previously a bass player. I contacted John and he taught me how to play lead guitar to a good standard, He is a very easy to follow while teaching works at your speed. Highly recommended.

I have had a great interest in music since my early teens, and somewhere along the line I bought myself a guitar with the hope that I could just pick it up and play a tune. I soon realised that there was a lot more to learning to play guitar. A few years ago my daughter bought me some lessons as a birthday present, and that is where I met John. His knowledge and enthusiasm shine through, and he soon had me playing along to some of my favourite songs. He explains music theory in a very fun way, and he even gave me homework, which was not a chore because I wanted to learn so that I could show him my improvement on my next lesson. I’ve had guitar Lessons for the last couple of years... Having never played a note before... John was very understanding and started with the basics ... it wasn’t long before we where both playing along together. What ever your taste in music John is extremely knowledgable ... and is also a very good judge of your ability so doesn’t push to hard... but enough to keep you improving on a weekly basis... whether your taste is electric , acoustic or bass... John's knowledge is second to none, experience both as musician and a fan span decades and genres.
