I have been a customer of Audio T in Southampton for many years. On each and every occasion they have understood my requirements, my budget, and the direction I wanted to take my hi-fi and AV system in. Their product knowledge is very good, and being brand agnostic means that they have never tried to drive me to a brand or product that didn't suit me from a performance or aesthetic point of view. I do think that the advent of COVID has possibly impacted the experience that some customers might feel they get, but I have never felt this and have become a loyal and continuing customer.

I bought my first pieces of Hi-Fi, a Michell Focus 1 turntable with a Creek CS4040 from Audio T, it was then known as 'Hampshire Audio' back in the 1980's. I have always received a friendly, first class customer service from Alan and the team backed up with their extensive product knowledge, considerate care for the customer and objective but reason based recommendations and combinations. I am still liaising with AudioT Southampton on a regular basis for advice on repairs and new purchases and hopefully will do so for many years to come.

I've been a customer at this branch of AudioT for many years and am very pleased with the service, advice and range of products available. The staff, past and present, are highly approachable and always offered good quality insights and suggestions accurately reflecting my requirements. Nothing has been too much trouble to arrange; whatever hasn't been available to borrow from this store has been quickly obtained from another branch. Strongly recommended.

I bought my first real hifi from Hampshire Audio back in 1981, a Linn Sondek, Rogers a100 amp & RCL speakers, a fine little system that lasted me many years. When I retired to compliment my Linn turntable, I treated myself to Naim amplification & cd along with the wonderfully detailed PMC fact.8 speakers. First class service from Alan and his team when buying. However even the best kit can occasionally malfunction and the true colours of a business are put to test when they do. I am pleased to say that Alan’s response, communication and the way he worked to resolve the issue was exemplary. The niggling problem once found was easily fixed, but even if it hadn’t been I am confident that Alan would’ve pulled out all the stops to get my system back to tip top condition. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Audio-T Southampton, not only at point of sale but the after sales service is equally as impressive. Thanks once again one very pleased customer. After trawling Hi-Fi stores in Bath and Bristol without finding anyone who understood what I wanted I discovered Audio T in Chandlers Ford and the brilliant Alan who fully understood my requirements. Following a demo I bought a RP6 and some used Spendor speakers. Five years later I recently returned to upgrade to a P8 on the basis Alan was still there and thankfully he was. Both times Alan has set up the turntable for me at no cost and I've since introduced a friend who has purchased a complete analogue system and been equally delighted with the service. During one Demo Alan was absent and Wayne was a pleasure to deal with. Basically I wouldn't go anywhere else for my hi-fi equipment and easily the best store I've experienced in 40+ years of buying hi-fi.

I am always conflicted by this store. 3 times I have visited when upgrading hi-fi gear to support a local business and for advice. Each time it has been made so abundantly clear that they don't really care about the customers specific scenario or care to give any advice whatsoever. Much better service from online retailers.

I recently moved home and, not fancying reconnecting my hi-fi and AV system (including tri-wired speakers), partly due to the weight of the hifi cabinets, I decided to contact Audio T. Due to less than perfect wiring done by other contractors and various unforeseen snags, it took John four hours to get it all done. I just wish I'd involved them in other aspects of aerial installation and wiring. The upshot is that having John with his experienced and professional ear set up my - to me - complex system, I have now had the best value for money upgrade ever, it's like a new, vastly improved system - what he did is brilliant and I thoroughly recommend them. I cut my Hi Fi teeth at the legendary Geoffrey Horn's store in South Parade, Oxford in the 1970s. I was thus delighted to find equal expertise and enthusiasm at Hampshire Audio in Chandlers Ford, when I moved to Winchester in the 1990s, and, with their advice, and after long sessions in their listening room, purchased a Meridian 806 CD player, Audiolab 8000 amp and KEF 104/2s from them. Their subsequent merger with Audio T in no way impacted on their superb service, which has most recently informed my recent purchases from them of a Cyrus CDi player, Marantz PM806 and REL subwoofer. Their helpfulness has even extended to the loan of a Cyrus CDi when my player had to be returned for repair just outside warranty. I really cannot recommend this shop highly enough.

As usually - professional!!! I have been AudioT client for more than three years. I bought Naim products a couple years ago and today bought a Naim DAC V1 - Mr Alan with Mr John double checked all wires connection for me and suggested how to use all stereo system to receive good sounds quality and, offered me to update my UnitiQute 2 product as well. Always feeling important and safe as a Client with AudioT Company.
