We've been thrilled to watch our daughter's confidence and skill in singing grow rapidly since working with Mel over the last couple of years. She is kind, supportive and encouraging without being too pushy, helping our daughter achieve some great singing grades. She is flexible and the transition to online lessons during the lockdown period has been really smooth. She is organised and sends information in advance ready for the lesson, and provides feedback after each lesson very quickly. Our daughter loves her lessons and we are so pleased we made the steps to contact her in the first instance. Highly recommended!

Mel is so encouraging - she knows how much I lacked confidence to sing, and even though all my lessons (apart from the first) have been done remotely via video, my confidence has grown massively! She chooses a good range of songs for me to practise, and I've been able to choose a few of my favourites too. Mel emails me a write up of the class after each session, and this is a good record of my progress. I'm enjoying the remote sessions, but it'll be good to get back to face to face once it's safe to do so.

Mel is a superb teacher. She has helped me find my voice again after years of not singing and has even given me new found confidence to perform, which I never imagined I'd be able to do! Melanie is a superb teacher - she inspires confidence, and communicates clearly and on the perfect level. She has been teaching my daughter for several years - previously in person and now on-line. I cannot thank Mel enough. When I first went to Mel I was nervous and had no singing voice to note. Her techniques and tuition enabled me to sing in choirs and competitions and opened up a wonderful world of song and choral music. Taking singing lessons with Mel was the best decision I have ever made.
