The service from Black & Gold Audio is always first rate. I’ve needed probably 20+ compositions for corporate video and what I receive every time from B&G is always tonally (emotionally) on the money and pleasing to the ear. Reliable, but never cookie cutter like I’ve had the displeasure of paying for from less accomplished and sensitive service providers. Communication is easy and prompt. I look forward to working with Black & Gold for more compositions in the future and hope to also take advantage of the studio at some point for live voiceover recording sessions.

As a relative beginner, and with a big choir to keep occupied during lockdown, I enrolled on Si Gordon’s level one music tech course. This proved to be massively helpful and I was soon able to put together multi vocal and instrumental tracks (up to 48 virtually recorded tracks) and publish them to the internet. One project got more than 10k views and raised a significant sum for charity. For a bit of fun, I also enrolled on Si Gordon’s music for film course. I have since pursued this a bit further and have written a piece for a full dome immersive experience. I am pleased to say that it has been granted a Gorsedh Award. Si’s sympathetic tutoring style has helped me - a pensioner now in his 70s - to embrace and relish new technologies. Couldn’t recommend him more highly.
