Came to see Stray From The Path here and the gig itself was incredible. There’s a lot of history and character in the building and they’ve managed to fit a lot in. However, it’s a very small and crowded place for a gig. 3 stars because the women’s toilets are disgusting. Like, grotesque. No seats, wet floors, toilet paper on the floor, paper holders broken, tiny cubicles. Horrible - no need.

One of my Fave clubs in Edinburgh - the Sound system is fantastic and the nights I go to NEVER disappoint. The Door Staff are fantastic as are the bar staff.

Been to Powerhouse techno party twice and it's exactly what I was hoping it would be. This means I've only seen one of the three floors and even though it's not the "nicest" place, it's perfect for a proper techno rave. Bouncers are actually reasonable, if you're sober enough and don't cause any trouble.

Very nice venue that's attracts big crowds especially on live music nights! Rest blend of music styles ranging from 70s 80s pop to hardcore rock and metal songs! Only reason I give it four stars it's that it usually is overpacked which isn't a bad thing on its own, it does get annoying when overdrunk people just ruin moments for you.

Kate Perry The Mash House 14:40 A medium sized attic venue was well attended for Kate Perry's last show of this years fringe. Kate is an energetic, engaging storyteller who brings you into her world of several characters with warmth and humour, good simple use of sound and lighting and quick costume changes help set the scene and allows depth and continuity to each set piece, each monologue was funnier than the last. At the end of the show which was well received Kate tells us this is her first fringe run and we certainly hope it won't be her last her work feels like it will be a future fringe staple. Coroners Verdict: 4 Stars
