Went on Thursday and was really impressed by the staff all around. Bouncers managed to keep a packed club reasonably under control - searched by bag and had me and my pal in the door quite quickly, seemed polite but firm with the punters, noticed them coming inside and doing regular rounds of the venue. Made us feel things were quite safe. Not often I respect bouncers… but they did a good job. Cloakroom full! Unlucky for me. The bar staff deserved a medal for absolutely bodying that night aswell. Massive queues at the bar, people wading to get through, seemed a few rude punters unfortunately. I work in hospitality myself and I couldn’t have dealt with it as calmly as they did - it was hectic but nonetheless the staff were very polite. Male member of staff with the two toned hair - I’m sorry that wee brunette lassie in the white top and jeans was being a cow. Hope she steps on Lego xx Drinks priced very well. Music pretty mid as per most clubs.

When I was a student this place was great; cheap drink, dark and good atmostphere. They still have the dark bit going but the drinks have became very expensive, which means the clients are a bit older, and a bit less cool and therefore the atmosphere isn't what it used to be. Still good for a few drinks.

Spent a few hours in here on sunday and have to say from the service to the cocktails and the music was just brilliant its been the best beer garden experience even though its only a few tables but best beer garden we've been to in Glasgow so far through this full pandemic the staff are just so lovely but cocktails are the best ive tasted in a long time, cant wait to return!!! 🥂👍😁

I went January 2014, I was in the downstairs bit and from what I can remember it was packed and not in the best way, it felt really cramped and uncomfortable and I remember it being pretty damn dark. What I did love about it though was the price of drinks, it was under a £1 for a vodka lemonade and being from St.Andrews where they are £3.50 each this was awesome! Though originally I may have made it sound bleak, there was actually a pretty friendly atmosphere.

I enjoy firewater. The drinks are reasonable, has an area to dance but you can still sit and talk without being deafened by the music. Also open late.

Great on a Thursday night. £1 drinks and a great atmosphere. Despite the fact that the club is packed, it’s really quick service at the bar and staff are friendly. A massive downside is the queue, on a normal Thursday you could be waiting 1.30-2 hours just to get in, for what seems like no apparent reason so bear that in mind. Jacket got bumped as well

Good atmosphere and cheap drinks. Colourful bunch of folk but good fun nonetheless. Bouncer outside was a bit overdressed. Was unimpressed by the lack of vegan options as seen in photo 2. As you can see i still enjoyed my night!

If you are 18-22 this place is great. If you are older it's still good, but as you notice how baby faced everyone around you is, you see how much your youth is slipping away. Am I rambling? In summary it's a good place but definitely skewed towards the youngsters

Firewater, the final boss of sauchiehall street, so to speak. Cocktails are here are reasonable, but depend on what you're ordering, white russians for example are expensive considering the ingredients. Cheapish pitchers but if you're drinking them it's probably the wrong place, however you can add tennants to the pitcher which does add a certain chaotic evilness to the bar. The food ih ave never consumed but it does look ok, not very veggie friendly however. Everyone knows about the cheap drinks on weekdays but tbh the biggest advantage of firewater is the cheap shots, can get patron and jager for £2.50. Decent dance-floor and the casbah is on one of the few bars you'll find consistent classic hip-hop. Horrible bouncers but usually cool staff.

Good music, good prices, seats are a bit small and tables low at the back. I ended up with my leg covered in chewing gum because the tables are too low and obviously aren't checked a lot. It's a good night though other than that
