Wow where do I start?! From our first call with Gordy, we knew we had chose the right DJ for our wedding! On the lead up to our big day, we had a video call with Gordy and Emma and it felt like we had known them forever! Gordy and Emma listened to our requests and got to know us and ensured we were comfortable with all the ins and outs of the day✨ When arriving at the wedding and meeting them both for the first time, we instantly felt comfortable and like they were guests rather than suppliers! The dance floor was never empty and everyone had raved about the personal touches such as competitions, games and prizes ✨ Emma also took so many videos of our night which we are so grateful for as we had the best time and it’s amazing to look back on everyone and the fun we all had 🥰 I would recommend Gordy and Emma to anyone and everyone and can honestly say they are an amazing duo 🫶🏼 Thank you so much!! Gordy and Emma are absolutely fantastic and I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants their guests to have the best party ever. They did our wedding r and all we have heard from our guests is how much fun they had at the reception and that is all down to these 2! A great mix of songs which had people of all ages on the dancefloor all night having the time of their lives, and a few little unexpected gifts and surprises which made for special laughs and memories we will treasure forever !They are both friendly, kind, hard working and great fun to have around - perfect for any celebration. Loved the mood lighting option too!

I would highly recommend them to anyone, for any event! Emma and Gordy were both amazing! From the very moment we booked them (almost 2 years ago!) to our wedding on Friday they have been with us every step of the way, keeping in contact every few months and moving to the new date no bother when we had to change it due to the pandemic. On the night, they were an absolute blast, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment all night long and we had a packed dancefloor. They even threw in a couple of surprise games and quizzes with prizes which delighted all the guests. I was also so grateful that they took a few sneaky videos of the dancing that I can treasure as mementos. We booked Gordy is a DJ over 2 years ago for our wedding at the Dalmahoy on the 14.07.18. In this time we got to know both Emma and Gordon well. Emma and Gordon are fantastic people and great at their job. We asked them to do the full package of our ceremony music, background music during the meal and our night time DJ and they did not disappoint. Everything ran smoothly and couldn't have gone better. Emma and Gordon got every one in the party spirit and and the dance floor was never empty. All of our guests have complimented how good the night was. We would definitely recommend Gordy is a DJ to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

We chose Gordon and Emma as our wedding entertainment for our special day on 15/06/2018 at Dalmahoy Edinburgh. These guys are not only the nicest people but they are amazing at what they do! From the very beginning they were so friendly, approachable, professional and helpful in every way. I have never seen any wedding reception so lively right from the beginning, they had all our guests singing and celebrating right at the start of the evening which really set everyone up for an amazing night. All of our guests are still talking about how amazing the reception was!! The music and lighting were perfect for all generations and the surprise Mr&Mrs game was hilarious and got everyone involved. The dance floor was never empty!! We cannot thank Gordon and Emma enough for making our wedding reception so perfect and cannot recommend them highly enough. They deserve every award they have won and more because these guys really are amazing.

We had Gordon and his wife Emma DJ for our wedding. They were really great in the planning stages and on the day. They arrived and set up early, and they even played some music during the meals and let us borrow their microphones for the speeches, which was handy! We also did a couple of ceilidh dances, where Gordon helped out with the calling. They were great at getting people up and dancing, and everyone had such a fun time! They also did a Mr and Mrs quiz with us half way through which was great fun. They were definitely worth the money!

Gordon and Emma ran the evening entertainment for our wedding. They really understood our taste in music and what we were looking for, but blended this in with music to suit every taste and managed to take requests too. I think the only time the dance floor was empty was during the buffet! Gordon and Emma also set up a ceilidh set for us, and there were a couple of surprises throughout the night too. We chose mood lighting, which really suited our venue, and was all set up by the time our guests entered the room. All in all a fantastic evening, highly recommended!

Gordon and Emma were the DJs at my wedding in December 2017. They were absolutely fabulous. They took the time to meet with us months beforehand to understand what we wanted from the night. Gordon also took the time to learn the names of close family and the wedding party which was really going the extra mile! They arrived early and were set up ready to go on time. When the dance floor started to get a bit empty at around 11pm they were great at knowing what music would get everyone up and dancing again until the end of the night. Can't recommend them enough! They definitely made our wedding day extra special and the guests loved it!

I have nothing but admiration for Gordy and Emma they are an amazing team and made our wedding extra special. The small touches they put in place from checking the lighting with me to ease my worrying, to looking out songs for my husband to suit his taste, nothing was too much trouble. My husband and I were scheduled to do our Scottish ceremony on June 10th 2018 but due to Visa issues, our whole wedding was cancelled and hanging in limbo for 8 months. Gordon and Emma were extremely sympathetic to our situation and moved our booking without any hesitation. Their professionalism and wanting to get to know us, which was reflected in many emails and our meeting with them, did not go unnoticed. On the day of the wedding they showed up, made sure we knew they were there and asked how our day had went. The lighting they set up was beautiful and really brought the whole room together. I'd highly recommend adding it to your package. They played as many requests as they could from our list as well as taking some on the day. They judged the room's atmosphere very well and got people involved when they needed to be. The wee game we played midway through the night went down a treat. It was so much fun and such a laugh. My husband and I were so relaxed that day, we were going with the flow and may have been too relaxed at times. I can't thank Gordon and Emma enough for their kindness, patience, attention to detail and professionalism on the run up to and on our special day.

Where to even start with my review for your guys! From the moment I had my first initial call with Gordy, I knew you were the DJ’s for us. I’ve always said you get a gut feeling about suppliers, and my gut feeling was right with you both. We booked with you away back in 2019, and actually booked with a few suppliers at the same time. You guys were one of the few who kept in touch with us regularly. Lockdown hit and you were understandably worried about your own lives and lack of work, but Emma kept in touch with me throughout lockdown and spent a lot of time putting my own mind at ease with things; completely selfless and happy to help and answer any questions I had as the world started to open back up again. During that time, Emma and I became close; we both had our own life changes during lockdown, and we were able to confide in each other. Emma wasn’t just a supplier, she became a friend during that time and we still check in with each other even after our wedding. We had our day on 18th September 2021 and you both went above and beyond. We needed background music for the reception dinner and you helpfully set all that up for us and handed in a USB drive to the venue (sadly they misplaced the USB for dinner, but I am sure the music was lovely!). To see you both in full swing during the evening reception was fantastic – you were on point with getting the party going, and more importantly keeping it going! Everyone has raved about you both and everything that you did. I wont give away your trade secrets for new couples, but everything you did was amazing. I still laugh at the pictures of Gordy on the dancefloor making sure everyone was dancing correctly! It is clear that you both love what you do, and that comes across in every element. Gordy and Emma were so fantastic on the lead up to the day that we were not in the least bit worried about their set and they still managed to completely exceed our expectations. They were at least as excited as our guests to be there on the day and we really felt so special and celebrated. You can really tell that the bride and groom are at the centre of their livelihood and they are so passionate about what they do. Nothing was too much trouble, even when we asked them to help us with our fundraising "vote the last dance" - they threw themselves into it and even made voting cards on the day and counted the votes and funds raised. Every single song was a classic and kept people dancing up til the end. One guest mentioned how her feet were hurting but she couldn't sit down and miss out on a single song. We came away with a lovely keepsake (thank you both!), some lovely videos courtesy of Emma who caught some fab sneaky shots and a night we will never forget. Thank you both, you truly are total gems!

I cannot praise Gordy and Emma enough, from our first meeting to the follow up after our wedding they were professional. They provide such a personal service and nothing is too much trouble. Gordon and Emma provided our evening music for our wedding on the 5th May 2018 at Taypark House, Dundee. From beginning to end we couldn't fault their service. They carefully listened to our requests and their experience gave us some great tips and ideas (most things I hadn't thought about so was great to have some guidance). We had a tricky guest party with a Brit/French mix and we had also requested a ceilidh, however the evening music went down like an absolute storm! Everybody loved the ceilidh and the dance floor was packed for the whole night, I in particular didn't sit down all night, so many good tunes! We booked Gordy and Emma for our wedding on 18 June 2018 at Cringletie House in Peebles. We are from the U.S. so didn't know much of them other than they had very high reviews. They virtually met with us beforehand, setup a website for our guests to request songs and took all our requests. Words cannot express how amazing they made our wedding. They made the room beautiful (highly recommend the uplighting!), were able to get everyone onto the dance floor and kept them on right through until the end of the reception. They personalized our reception as if they had known us for years! They were absolutely lovely and if we could give them 100 stars, we would. They made our wedding day perfect!
