Newish venue close to the High Street station in Glasgow. I was there for The Black Dog who were doing a presentation, live music and DJ set. The show itself was great and quite informal. The venue is ok, the staff seem friendly enough although the plastic chairs werent that clean, mine was sticking to me for some reason. I would dress down for this venue rather than up. As I was there for a spoken word event I noticed I could clearly hear running water, no idea if this was due to the weather or something internal. You certainly wont notice it when musics playing however. I had read this venue had a no cameras rule, but that wasn't in force when I was there as a few people openly used theirs. I had needed some info on set times as this wasn't on the events page or any social media an hour before the show. If you havent been its a bit like the Hug and Pint in Glasgow but possibly bigger and without the easy access to food. Hope to be back soon as the line ups are quite interesting.

Great wee underground place, cool alternative crowds, prices kinda average for the Merchant City (probably dearer than your local pub tho) Been few times and enjoyed!Optimo was amazing few months back and the Voight Kampff boys most recently. Would recommend to those wanting something bit different in a night out in Glasgow.

Was there for an acid house night and loved the atmosphere. Friendly staff, reasonable drink prices considering the location of the venue and cool vibes, would definitely go back.
