Went to a concert here. Very good seating. Nice bar.

We came from the US to see Jimmy Carr perform here. The venue is amazing and the staff are diligent, very knowledgeable about the area. We were pointed to The Railway for pre-show food and drinks by the receptionist, which was reasonably priced and very phenomenal. The seats are comfortable, the theatre good sized. We were able to see and hear quite well without having to be rightin front of the stage.

Went there to see Michael Macintyre try out new material and it was brilliant! Warm up act was great too! Venue is great, clean and the staff are friendly and helpful, bar is pricey I paid £6 for a med wine in a plastic cup, so that does cheapen it a bit, no cash all contactless and it does need more seating in the bar area. Easy to get to I used 89 bus almost to the door, but getting home check public transport because busses are hourly and train station is a bit intimidating with lots of drunks n homeless hanging about, I did feel a bit nervous so I caught a cab, best £25 quid I spent! All in all it was a great night tho! Would definitely go back to see more shows! I never heard of it before this show so I shall be keeping an eye on what they show.

Cozy and intimate atmosphere for a concert and very well organised. Nice bar and staff. I enjoyed the concert of John Illsley from Dire Straits very much.

Lovely theatre. Lots of room and good bar. Only downfall they didn't take cash behind the bar when I visited. It was card only.

Top tier acts for great prices! 100% can't beat this amazing venue for price and quality. Not a big venue so more of a personal feel to it. Drinks are pretty good for a venue too

Really excellent venue. We are so lucky to have a venue of this quality on our doorstep. Sound, lighting and staging were all highly polished. There is also an excellent bar.

Went to see Russell Kane live, and he was a riot. Watch out though - this venue is now in the new expanded ULEZ zone, which is very disappointing, and we won't be returning for this reason.

Went to see a comedy show and was impressed with the venue. The auditorium was much bigger than we expected. The bar are was very nice and good deflection of drinks. Just gets very crowded for busy performances.

We went to a concert there last night for the first time. It's a beautiful building recently renovated with excellent acoustics. Parking at the British rail car park was very convenient and there are quite a few good restaurants within walking distance of the hall.

I treat this place like my living room. Concerts/gigs/comedy nights. Beautiful building. Shame about the bar refit which makes it so echoey it's impossible to hold a conversation. The best thing about the halls is the opportunity for the community to get involved and sing/play alongside professionals in the community opera. Really special

I was expecting more of a tiered seating layout for the show, but it was rows of chairs... Sadly my chair was the one next to the fat guy, so my overall impression is cramped - I think better spacing between seats is needed. The bar gets quite busy too for big performances

I came for the Early Music Festival. Bought some sheet music and managed to resist the beautiful recorders on sale. I already have three sopranos three altos two tenors two basses and a great bass. Apparently Henry the eighth had hundreds.

We saw Rob Beckett and he was hilarious! The hall was great as well. They were severely slow and understaffed at the bar which meant you had to cue for 5-10 minutes to get a drink.

A really superb venue in a very nice town, convenient for a bite to eat before hand and close to Blackheath station. The hall is pretty small really. I was lucky enough to see Sean Lock here, so get on their mailing list cos they get the occasional surprisingly good acts.

God's own place to see bands, comedy and singers - have seen so many people at this place and can usually get out to get last orders at the local on a Saturday night. Check the website to see who is coming on, they have a good mix of artists and have even been known to run a burlesque evening !

It looks beautiful since the refurb but there's no air conditioning or proper ventilation in the main hall so it makes big events or summer concerts pretty uncomfortable. If this was sorted out, it would be first class.

This is a nice venue for a concert or play. There's a bar in the theatre area... don't buy the filter coffee though, it's not great. The Brockley deli coffee shop in the adjacent building is superior.

The refurbishment is very sympathetic to the building, and the new bar area looks amazing. It's nice to see that ramped seating has gone in so your view is far better at the back.
