Reading the reviews you may think that the club is not so good, but after visiting last weekend I have a completely different opinion. First of all, in the queue I saw the security team gently telling a completely drunk guy going to McDonalds to get better before coming back. The security check is quite exhaustive which is always nice and most of the process was quite fast. Inside the club, I can tell the Sound and lighting system in both stages are amazing. The bar is quite expensive (what is not in London) but is fast and friendly. The only 2 things they should improve in my opinion are the toilets (queues could be quite long) and the ventilation in the Back Studio room which is not enough I don't remember sweating that much in club ever ;-)

Sound system and lighting are great, talent was pretty good... just came on a random Saturday night so I didn't know the producers/dj's. Staff overall was pretty friendly and the bartenders were really quick. Security lady was absolutely awesome and actually had a really nice conversation with me. One of the guy's at coat check was rude as all hell though. I was trying to put my sweatshirt in the pocket of my coat before checking it. It was 3.50 just to check one coat and he wanted me to pay double for the sweatshirt even though it would have really easily fit in my jacket pocket... so that irked me. I know clubs are struggling to find adequate sources of revenue to support their staff and keep afloat, and if that's why E1 is being so strict about their coat check, I understand. However, I would have been happy to pay extra for both if the worker wasn't as dismissive and rude. I just ended up carrying the sweatshirt around with me, if you're curious.

Amazing night at E1 with Klub Verboten. Techno music, fantastic DJ lineup with Amazing sound system. Many Bars with lots of people serving (finally) so no long queue even if packed and Sold Out. Definitely one of the best venues in London and UK. Impeccable organisation. Well done.

Unfortunately judging by the negative reviews I think a lot of people attending this club have no idea why they are going, its not a bar, its not a luxury night out with silk toilet paper and designer hand wash in the bathrooms, its dance till your feet fall off, get bumped into, get sweaty and enjoy your favourite DJs. A lot of people haven’t been to many raves and it shows. Guess you get that with London clubs though.. the crowd can always be mixed. People who know why they are going and people who go on the off chance. The person who replies to these reviews has the patience of a saint!! Haha! If you want to sit down and be comfy go to a ‘bar’, just saying.

E1 Nightclub is a great place to enjoy a night out especially for House, Techno, Drum & Base the sound system and lighting is amazing. Bar Staff and Street Team are super helpful and amazing. The queuing system works well and gets us in quickly and safely. I love the Security in there as you go in each person has to get ID and have there pictured scanned in case of any trouble it can be dealt with effectively. I would defo recommend friends and family. They have had famous Artist attend the club such as K Trap, Headie One etc

Place is amazing! Had a right blast. Staff were amazing. No issues with anything. Needs more bins around the place tho. Everything gets thrown on the floor (poor staff). But otherwise, a rave of a place!

I was sceptical about this place and went there with very low expectations because of some of the reviews but it certainly blew my mind. The security person that checked us was very friendly, the club was nice and spacious, good air ventilation, good lighting and sound, etc. What more can you want. Not really sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. 🤔

Top club. Despite some of the bad reviews I have failed to find any of them to be true. A proper sound system (if you know where to stand), decent lights and also staff who were very friendly and not at all like some of the reviews have made them out to be. Only thing was drink prices, but it's London so you sort of knew that was going to be the case. Thanks E1.

Great club once you get in but it took over an hour to get in. Lots of people pushing in the queue and nearly creating a stampede. Bouncers have their favourites and are very moody with you. The sound system is unreal though, one of the best.

Despite the awful reviews from the week before I went to see Sven Vath on Friday 16 Feb. Things had obviously been improved. The venue does lack enough toilets but staff were mostly friendly and the atmosphere was lively and positive. Plenty of smiley happy people dancing their socks off. The club has a warehouse party feel but anymore revellers and it would be a nightmare.

Really nice venue. Good staff. It gets way too full in the main room, and it seems if there were to ever be a fire that not many people would make it out... they really need one in one out after a certain point into the main room.

Lovely, spacious venue. Serves the dance scene well. Amazing variety of lineups. Good smoking area. Great staff and security. But .. the drinks are really too pricey, the cloakroom was too. I'd love to go back but I'd definitely pre-drink and buy early bird tickets.

Nothing to fault with this venue, in terms of the running of the night - entrance was hassle free and swift, toilets were well organised, plenty of bars around the venue to buy drinks from and to access tap water. Plenty of security around the venue who were on hand to help if you needed, but who did not cause hassle for the sake of it. The venue was busy enough for a great atmosphere without feeling like you were being squished for space. Most importantly the music system and light displays were so good. I had a great night out and will definitely be returning

An okay club, though quite a heavy search on the way in! Drinks are reasonable for club prices and it is reasonably well located. The staff are quite friendly. A major issue was that the smaller room was well too hot for the first part of out time in there. Another issue was that the floor in the main room was so sticky that it was tiring to dance on it. Overall the music was okay and the toilets were clean / without major queues. Not sure that I would go again unless someone that I really likes was on though.

Couple years ago, on my first time at E1, after reading some reviews I wasn’t sure if I would like the place, but before taking any conclusions I always try it first ( and this is what I recommend. Before taking conclusions, go there, be nice and try to have a great time). On my first visit I was impressed (positively) and after that, I go there every time I can. Is my favourite venue in London. Friendly staff (always when I asked something they were happy to help, even on a very busy night), amazing sound system, great events with very top djs with tickets at reasonable price. My friends and I, we have never experienced any unpleasant situation in this venue.

It’s a cool venue and have had fun here. I didn’t like this place the first time I came but Iv warmed to it and it’s a great place for a dnb/house night. The sound is excellent as is the lighting. The main this that should be improved is a wider selection of drinks other than spirits.

One of my favourite home clubs. The venue is hygienic, music is distinctive, good management and organisation, staffs are friendly and security is sympathetic and natural which means everyone mind their own business. I have seen great light effects in the venue and the sound system undoubtably is one of the best in London. Attenders also tend to be fashionable. The only down point here is the service of the bar section - slow service (insufficient) even though the drinks are reasonable. I have had great nights in here. This club definitely gives any other club for a run.

Went to the Sven Vath world tour event this weekend. The venue has had a lot of bad reviews, but on my particular night there were no issues. It was busy as expected but not overcrowded. Lights were awesome, sound system awesome, The low roof and pillars give it a great warehouse vibe. The staff dealt with my my friend very well, who was not feeling great. Some bouncers would kick out any people at the first sign of an issue. Overall quality techno night!

Good: -amazing djs/music -great lights/lasers/strobes/smoke -excellent booming soundsystem -mostly friendly staff Bad: -the crowd: there just to get wasted, not there for the music -dangerous overcrowding: the bottlenecks at doors/entrances/exits were anxiety-inducing and honestly if a fire or something happened everyone would be trapped -the bathroom's are way too small and the queues were horrendous

Fantastic unique venue for house music and great performances. Security is decent, friendly and professional. VIP area is definitely worth the experience. They recently upgraded their sound system coupled with acoustics that are hard to beat!

I was there on a Friday night and to be honest I was expecting more. It was too bright inside for an event called “Dark Code Experiments” 🤣 I was surprised that there was only one room open on a Friday night. Other than that they have a good sound system, specious area so you can dance freely. I’m sure they are gonna get better.

Decent club space with a good PA system and lighting. The air conditioning seems to have been sorted (it exists, contrary to studio spaces era), which is an added plus. Went to hear Chris Liebing and enjoyed it, in part also due to friendly staff. Why 3*? Promoters appear to oversell tickets which was the case in my experience - too crowded and pushy.

E1 is a great London venue with lots of ambition and energy. Their lineups are consistently of high quality and the nights tend to be well curated. The main room has an awesome FunktionOne system with a mahoosive woofer that stretches across the wall. But it gets soooo crowded on weekend nights and the AC just cannot cope. Eventually you get condensation on the ceiling and floor. They really need to find a way to limit the number of people in the main room. Toilets are small and few. Room two is great though love the chill vibes. Security are aggressive but thats a London problem. But considering the London councils restrictions on nightlife of late I feel e1 is such a welcome addition. Rave on.

I don't understand the hype about the soundsystem. It's average at best. ..it's got nothing on the old End Club in Tottenham Court Road, Printworks or even Fabric. Probably on par with the Egg, which isn't saying much!
