V. B.Funky place, tasty cocktails, warm staff, upbeat DJ set despite playing too much commercial for Baby Boomers, in the latest months - would rather expand on Electrohouse. Teen crowd, mostly modest girls and spoiled republicans. Terrible choice to greed by suddenly charging single items and most of all, have a rude and annoyed stockroom harpy. Now we all sympathise with why she is kept in the dark.
Seriously, don't let this ruin what you have.
A. Đ.I went out in Embargos quite a few times over the last 5 years and I enjoyed the night each time.
It can get really busy, but the crowd is nice and feels safe. There’s a roof terrace as well.

M. M.I have been a regular at Embargo for a while now and it never fails to disappoint. Prices are good, music is good, venue is great.
F. 1.I have visited on a few occasions in the last 3 years and I have always enjoyed my self. Nice staff and very pleasant crowd. They have a lovely outdoor terrace with a bar, where you can have a cigarette or a cigar and enjoy talking to your friends if you ever need a break from music inside.
Cuban themed venue, but they play club music.

R. S.Nothing to rave about, usual type of club for this area. Long queues outside, £20 door entry, further queues inside. Busy at the bar as not enough staff and crowd are around 18-25. Music is reasonable. Would go for a specific reason such as a birthday (the reason I went, I'm 32) but wouldn't recommend it or go out of my way to come here. Just my view others may have enjoyed it more.

We all chipped in for a table which was really good fun and worth it to have our own space and have table service. We had so much fun. The music is a really good mix of old and new and a good mix of people. Definitely want to go back!
E. R.Go to Embargo's most weekends and always have a great night! They do the best cocktails on the Kings Road (in my opinion!) and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly! Can't wait to go back :) PS, arrive before 11pm and you get 241 cocktails and entry is only £10....

I would highly recommend Embargo if you want to spend a night out in Chelsea.
a. s.There's an entrance fee of £15 which is cash only (don't mind that I have to pay but nowhere on the website did it say cash only). Had to use the ATM inside the building which charges £1.95
Bar staff are very friendly and gave some great help.
There's a £10 minimum on cards but nowhere is this told before hand.
(The only place to get cash once again is the chargeable ATM)
Music is okay. Goes through good patches and bad patches.

Brilliant music, brilliant cocktails and one hell of a brilliant team running the venue! The outside terrace and stylish VIP rum room definitely makes this one of the best venues on Kings Road!

E. C.The place is nice, staff are friendly but the music is way too commercial, the crowd is very young (average age must be 18-19) and if you go there early even when the club is half empty you need to queue, wait and pay entrance.

This place is quite arrogant and judging by the reviews not that good anyway. However, I've been in once and you probably could have a good night there.

L. E.I went to Embargo Republica for my birthday in January with a group of friends. We booked one of the VIP tables next to the dance floor and had an amazing night out. The staff were really attentive and made us feel special. V smooth experience getting us all into the club. The music was also pumping and we danced the night away.
