Patronised Firecracker Westminster for my birthday, I booked a private room with karaoke, the food was served family style and tasted good. The karaoke was a fun time too. Only thing that could have made the night better was if they updated the song choices to newer releases.

I had my 23rd birthday here last night and had a BLAST! The food was delicious, I picked Set Menu A and each dish came out quickly, hot and absolutely delicious, plenty to go round for the 10 of us. The room was a nice size with very good karaoke facilities and privacy from the rest of the restaurant. The service was AMAZING!! They escorted guests to the karaoke room, were attentive to my guests' needs, bar service was quick and cocktails were lovely, brought my cake in nicely lit and dimmed the lights. We were even given 10 complimentary tequila shots!! I would 100% be back here again. I've already told my sister to do her 27th here next year and would recommend for anyone who wants to have a fun karaoke night or who just wants to eat beautifully flavoured oriental cuisine.

This place was almost perfect, but still one of the best karaoke experiences I've had in London. The room we had was well maintained with nice decor and a karaoke machine with a smooth interface that had lots of choice! The staff were excellent, very friendly and happily answered all our questions. And the food was great, even more so as most karaoke venues I've been to don't serve anything as nice if you get to eat at all (nothing to write home about but exceeded my expectations on what I thought would just be a nice extra)! We didn't have control of the a/c in our room which did get a bit stuffy (though some of our party were cold and we didn't actually ask the staff it they could change it so a small personal bug) and the website doesn't accurately represent the price (which whilst it was higher than we thought it would be, was pretty average for what I'm used to and more value for money as we had the room for a long time with dinner included). About an hour left into our night they gave us some free drinks as well, so they definitely know how to entice you too come back! Would highly recommend

Issues with booking which is only by email. It was an issue to accommodate two extra people they turned up on the evening without us knowing. We were told that we should have emailed them to let them know..? The food took at least 40 minutes to come out, with only two small bowls of prawn crackers after being there for 45 minutes. The food was good and in abundance and we were able to take doggy bags home. Perhaps it was exceptionally busy and a lack of staff but not sure if I'd book a large gathering there.

This place was interesting! We went for a work lunch, and spent £9.50 on their box. It was a great price and I'd definitely go back for that offer, good price for a good amount of food. Not only do you get a main and a side (rice/noodles), but also more sides! I got the noodles, pork belly, chicken wings, and dumplings. The pork dumplings were really good! The service was a bit odd/rude, but nothing that would stop me going back. I can imagine it being more expensive at dinner time though, so I'd probably only go back for the lunch deal box. I also spotted a karaoke room which could be fun! 🎤

Long overdue but I came here for my cousins birthday, she had booked a karaoke room where we ate in. The food is amazing, good portion and it had flavour I can’t fault it. Only issue was the karaoke kept being dodgy and we had to be so careful with the mic because it was slightly broken and we didn’t want to be responsible for any damage. Our server which was a young man was really nice, but by almost the end of the night the karaoke and everything turned off which we thought was normal, little did I know we were being accused of it stop working and turning off. Our group was pretty confused and a lady I do not know who she was really rude to us, it almost could of turned in a big argument but the young man settled it after finding out what went wrong. However no apology from the lady. Food is delicious can not lie though, do recommend but customer service and good staff attitude is vital for business.

I've held two of my Birthday parties here, in 2015 and 2017. The food is first class. The Karaoke and sound systems are high spec and the fact that food is a set price and paid for separately means there is no arguing over how much people pay for their meal (the main thing that attracted me in the first place)! Elaine has been so welcoming and even encouraged me to go ahead with one of the bookings even though numbers had dropped through illness as I'd lose my deposit otherwise. I thoroughly recommend it for Birthday bookings, corporate events, in fact, any excuse! I am planning on booking again in 2019 as I love the place.

The food is good and reasonable priced. There is even a bento box lunch menu that is very affordable yet still delicious, but book ahead of you are coming between 12:30 and 2pm. The real story is the private karaoke rooms though. No charge as such, just a minimum spend that varies depending on the day of the week. Bring a group and have dinner, then song like idiots and you will comfortably meet the spend. All in all, a bit of a hidden gem.

Went to firecracker last night to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing. The food was served nice and hot and also tasted lovely. The karaoke made the evening pretty much perfect! Will definitely recommend this restaurant for birthdays, anniversaries and more. Only downer was one of the staff was a bit rude but we still had a great time.

Went there once and would go again because it is a very nice place to have a piece of mind at the same time enjoy the company of your friends or family. Nice, romantic dim lights. About the food, it tasted like an ordinary dish but the presentation is what I liked the most. From the plates to the tables everything in excellent order. So I wouldn't mind to pay a little extra for that pleasant view.

Have been here a couple of times for karaoke and dinner. Food is decent and reasonably priced. Karaoke rooms are appropriately sized, comfortable and clean, but equipment wasn't great; we had issues with the equipment in our original room and had to get moved to another room, so didn't start our session until half an hour in. If you're drinking, don't order the cocktail jugs, which are a bit of a rip, as they don't put much alcohol in.

The London Catalan Choir normally books a room in this place to have some fun and sing all together for long hours. We have been in here 3 times. The establishment is nice, but the karaoke equipment is quite old and sometimes does not work properly. Besides, the quality of the microphones, the sound and the videos are not that good. Regarding the playlist, there are a few famous songs missing, which is a shame! Referring to food, it is quite nice. As for the prices, they are affordable.

If you think this is just your ordinary pricey Chinese restaurant they you couldn't be more wrong. This place has a really amazing atmosphere. It is no where near traditional, in fact it is a very unusual combination of the infamous karaoke places in the eastern countries and a very modern and stylish high end restaurant. Never the less this place has a very nice, warm and cosy atmosphere and the staff are just as great. But the main highlight of this place is without a doubt the food. They make the best dim sum in the city and each and every dish is presented in a very unique, sometimes strange and quirky way, but still very appealing.

One of the most pleasant Chinese+Korean places in London. The inside out chicken wings are excellent. For the quality of the food, the price seems just about right. Expect to dish out at least £40 plus for a decent meal that can be a full 3 course meal.

Perfect not only for casual meeting with friend but for a business and date as well. With friends we go sometimes to the karaoke rooms and have a looot of fun. The prices are reasonable. The food here is good but the servers are rude. I'm not sure if it is to add authenticity to the experience but it is very off puttting. The karaoke rooms are great for office parties and get togethers. You're likely to run into civil servants during lunchtime. I recommend the Jasmine tea.

Always a fun place for a private room karaoke meal with friends. The food and customer service are good, karaoke system is the most modern around London, and you can sing until 1AM which is the latest of any London karaoke restaurant.

It’s not exactly cheap either but the prompt service and quality of the food when it arrives makes up for it. Also it is a wesminister based restaurant so you should expect to pay a bit more. Decent bento boxes at reasonable prices. The lunch deal always fills me up and the food comes out pretty quickly. It can sometimes be difficult to get a table unless you arrive early for lunch.

Staff tend to be very unhappy I wouldn't say rude, or unfriendly just unhappy, we always get the feeling they would be happier without us there. I've been there about a 10 times so the slight standoffishness that I get has not been a deterant. The food is quite good and the bento boxes are fantastic. For $8-9.50 you can get a soup, two sides and a main, as well as an option of carbs to eat your meal with (noodles, rice ect.). The bento boxes are also served very quickly and there is a surprising amount of seating room. Disclaimer the entire restaurant is in the basement.

I organized a private party for my wife's birthday. It was the first time for me to go to a Karaoke bar and our friends include some fairly stiff bankers/lawyers so I was sceptical how fun a night it would be. We took a large private room for 20 people and had a fantastic night. On top of a stylish decor and state of the art tech installation the food was outstanding. Drinking, eating and singing all night we walked out with ca 40 GBP per head all in. Very good value for money in London. I would recommend this place anytime. -Philipp

Hard to find the place but I'm pleased with the result. Not the best price but certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants. Had four small dishes that costed £40+. All the dishes were carefully made, my west lake beef soup was made from diced beef steaks instead of minced meat from most Chinese restaurants. Taste was great. Definitely a recommend to those searching for real chinese food for fair price.

Chinese restaurant with some influences from other parts of East Asia. Probably enjoyed the starters more than the main courses - the vegetarian hot & sour soup and the spring rolls were both good. Had the tofu and enoki hot pot (tasty but seemed a bit small for the price), and the kai lan (a bit plain tasting, but not bad) for a main course. The service was pretty good I thought - the staff were friendlier than most Chinese restaurants in London. They have karaoke rooms here too, with surprisingly good sound proofing.

I wormly recommend visiting the Firecracker as it is truly a masterpiece. It has this modern look with just enough of authentic chinese atmosphere spicing to make you truly appreciate the food and the stellar service. It is always well-prepared and incredibly delicious.
