Service was not good on arrival. It seems no one can see the guest are coming in instead we had to find them and ask for our booking table. Japanese food on the 2nd floor were so delicious, fresh and yummy. Definitely recommend this place for the food. Chef Sam was very presentable and professional. Service needs definitely improve downstairs specially in this fabulous place with fantastic food. Fiver star for the food and place :) Great Job Chef Sam

I tried many places of Japanese sushi. I didn’t expect that the Japanese sushi here is extremely amazing and food textures are beautiful present! The ingredients are fresh. Definitely will come back. The host Mike and Sam are very welcoming and best chef ever!

Venue is awesome to hang out and have drinks. The steak is a pub steak, but a low cost rump steak. It does however have a great smoky flavour! Chips are cooked in what seems like cold oil and it’s soaked into the chips. Won’t eat here again but venue is great

I’ve been coming to Jaks for years for the salad lunch. Been on my list to come back for Drinks and Dinner. Dawn was fantastic and flexible with us. We started off with drinks in the basement bar and gradually worked our way up for Dinner on the first floor. There is a 2nd floor called the Lounge which is a secret find in Mayfair! It’s probably the closest thing to a Private Members club vibe. The staff were great! This is also a perfect place to hire out for private parties - highly recommend! Oh BTW they have a sushi chef from Hong Kong, the sushi is probably one of the best I’ve tried in Mayfair! They have Happy Hour from 4-7pm Would definitely come back here!

To be honest it could have been 5* if the waiter wasn't rude towards the end of the night. The food was delicious. When we finished eating the waiter collected empty plates (nothing wrong with that) but then kept coming back, each time removing an other item from table ,wiping down the table 😀 Hinting us to leave 😀 It wasn't busy, nobody was waiting for the table so we thought the way he acted was rude/ hilarious. We would have preferred if he just asked us to leave. Quickly we asked for the bill and left. We know where we are not wanted 😁

Jaks is a place for every taste & perfect for meeting up with friends or business people. The whole place is amazing with comfortable lounges on different floors, a restaurant & pizzaria opened till late hours and an amazing bar & club downstairs. Quality & efficiency seems to be their other strong side. The outside are is very convenient. One of my favourite hang outs in London. Just 1 min from Bond Street tube. I would go there every day or night if I could.

I ordered on Deliveroo and wanted an item made vegetarian. Gentleman on the phone was so open to changes, offering alternatives to keep the dish yummy. When the food did come, I had a slice of cake as a surprise gift and the food I ordered was hot, fresh and delicious. And great portion size! (Well, I like large).

Popular restaurant in mayfair. Nice bar in the basement. After drinks we went for dinner upstairs for a birthday celebration. The food was average but the ambiance was good. The service was also quite well and the meals were nicely presented.

It is my favorite bar in central London. It has many different chilling areas, from a red cave vibe , to a retro couch chill vibe , to a club vibe to a modern bar vibe. It is not packed so you can dance but also have your table and space which is rare but sooo good, the coctails are supeeerrrrrr good (even thought priceyyyyyy), the music is amazingggg so you can sit and drink , drink and dance, whatever you want. You feel very comfortable there while it still keeps an elegant modern vibe and you can have your space and sitting place at the same price. I truly believe as a place it is super underrated! P.s it is considered the best 'Jaks' from all the ones they have , and i understand why.

Lovely place in the heart of Mayfair. Whether you want to have a drink, breakfast or dinner, You’ll find it all here. And even pizza! Unlike other places in this posh area the prices are decent and dishes are really large! You can enjoy sitting outside if the weather is fine, or have a variety of omelettes inside on the ground floor, or have relaxing evening in the basement where live music is on in the evenings and comfortable sofas are there for a chill time out. And you’ll find fine finding on the second floor. They also have nice teas and coffee that can grab when you just pass by in the morning!

From the moment I stepped into the bar downstairs I new I was going to have a good night. Myself and my partner came to Jaks on Friday night. The level of service and care was unreal. We had cocktails after cocktails. I was made my very own cocktails to suit what I liked. We felt relaxed sitting in the lounge sofas having Sam's Japanese food and plenty of drinks. In the heart of London, in a very nice pedestrian Street, Jaks offers tables outside and a nice environment to have lunch or dinner. We were a bit disappointed from the limited availability of vegetarian dishes (out of the 5 dishes only one was available). Prices are quite high versus quality and portions. Hosted an event at Jaks for 40 guests 30/06/18 myself and my guests were very well catered for. The staff where very professional and attentive. The downstairs area we used had great decor and a great feel to it. As a result of my experience at Jaks and as someone who hosts events all over the West End I would highly recommend this venue for your occasion big or small.

Excellent service. The staff are exceptional. We were treated with outstanding customer service. The food was tasty and the sides were well portioned. The ladies bathroom was very clean. I'm not sure if they have a lift but if you want to sit upstairs the stairs are challenging if you're not very fit. Would definitely eat here again. Me and my God Sista haven't seen each other for over 24 months. The waiter gave us a glass of bubbly on the house. How can we not go back?

I have visited this place twice now. Service is pretty good, except one of their guys who sometimes comes across as not bothered and too tired. Their own branded ale Zefi was delicious though I paid £5 for half a pint, so you worked out the price for a full pint. Their pizza was delicious and the dough tasted fresh and made in house. The ambiance is beautiful and welcoming.

Went to the bar with my mates. Lovely atmosphere and space with good service. The drinks were lovely we ordered mock tails as we had work tomorrow. Real downer was the food. Ordered a pizza with prosciutto but it tasted like plastic and it really put me off, surprise wasn’t offered a refund on it as that’s just the standard. However the garlic bread was decent. Nice place to unwind with mates. + drinks horrible food.

Greatest experience ever, staff was so nice. 1 guy from albania, girl from Czech Republic and i think the other guy was from Italy, all of them were super friendly, spoke to me and made me feel welcomed. We were surprised to find that this place had a really cool downstairs bar/restaurant as South Milton street is mostly retail. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after throughout our meal which was very nice and reasonably priced. Who said Mayfair had to be extortionate? A fantastic bar/restaurant a mere stones throw from Bond Street tube. The venue looks pretty typical on the ground floor but gets quirkier as you move upstairs. Enjoy your wine on the second floor and you'll be bewitched by the comfy chairs, pinball machine coffee tables, the random collection of books and what can only be described as a monster TV... Might even be 3D! Attentive staff, extensive wine selection and sensible prices will keep this place on my radar for a while yet. Next time I'll try the food and report back!

Went in here today and as we approached a kind, jolly older gentleman guided us in. When I asked if they serve hot chocolate (as had my kids with me) he kindly replied "of course" . " go downstairs give them the best table"! What an Aladdin's cave it is down there! Low lighting, marble tables, soft music and a huge variety of different drinks. I dined for lunch outside. My table was rickety so they need to place the proverbial matchbook under the leg. Sea bass was OK, the texture a bit tough. The easier-to-prepare side dishes of grilled vegetables and pasta salad were predictably acceptable.

Lovely place, we had a fabulous private room and a speaker so we could play our own music. Staff were a bit slow and coming to take our first order and they should never be allowed to make a pisco sour, I don’t know what they did but it was truly horrible, that aside we had a great night and would definitely go back.

Just discovered this amazing bar and restaurant it's a new venue by bond street station as I walked in it had a classic Robert de Niro movie on a big screen in the back ground music was songs we all know and love word for word from the early to late 2000s!!! I arrived at 9.30pm the majority of the place were already dancing by their tables!!! Its table service but the waiters are really attentive!!! The place isn't cheap but you would expect that from mayfair!!! Atmasphere is electric!!! If you want a night out where money isn't an issue this is a great place to continue your evening!!!

Jaks Mayfair is one of those bars you expect to replicate what the original Jaks on Walton Street or Kings Road have to offer. However, it has its own basement charm with a few private cubicles at the back of the bar. It's a giving bar with good music and decently priced rinks considering it is in Mayfair and a stone's throw from Bond Street Station. It is still an undiscovered gem so it's a good place for a drink and a boogie without getting to cramped.
