Awesome little bar in Soho, staff, drinks, music were all top class. The doorman was very helpful and welcoming. Now I've found this place, I will be returning again and again and again.

Slightly weird vibe in here. Drinks were ok, but it's absolutely surrounded with art by 'sam' including a wall of Amy Winehouse. Music was good though. I'm sure it's much better with live music as well

Warm welcoming from the owner. The staff were friendly and quick with taking our order. The Band was fantastic! A really cosy environment. The owners paintings of Amy and other famous artists all over the walls which is a nice touch. Great night out. Would recommend to anyone into Jazz and I would definitely come back again :)

Well what a fantastic night in soho - Aurora was the best waitress in soho, despite the bar being insanely busy all of our drinks were brought to us in a timely manner this bar is highly. Soho is highly busy at the minute do not give this bar a miss!!

Nice and cozy place. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and they stress on the fact that everyone in the venue are friends. I was lucky to have a local singer that night, although the place has nothing to do with jazz as advertised, but the music was great and most importantly the vibe was outstandingly welcoming and friendly. I lived in London for 5 years and had one of the best nights I have ever had in the city at this bar yesterday. The live band was so much fun and really engaged the audience and we had table service drinks for the whole night. Price to get in was a little steep but well worth it!

Jazz After Dark is small, cosy place with a soul. The band who performed was amazing. I am not the fan of jazz but I really enjoyed my time there. They involved guests in their performance too. Cocktails are nice and I really liked mojito. Staff are welcome and very pleasant. Only thing that you should be aware of is that place is small and it is good to reserve your place in advance. We did it and once we arrived they told us that they gave our places to someone else because we were supposed to be there at 22.15 and it was 23.00. On the phone nobody said something about our arriving time so we had to wait for someone to leave to be seated. To enter Jazz After Dark you'll have to pay 15£ per person.

This as our first time going and I have to say it's a real find. Great music and cosy atmosphere. The staff are attentive and very helpful. It is really good value for money in terms of food and drink but also entry for band. We will come again. We enjoyed finding out the history and that Aimee Winehouse started her career there. Always good music offering. Lots of bands playing with fun. Good vibes everytime. The food is not great, but that's not the reason you go there for. There is no space between the tables, so be ready to make new friends easily! Here Amy Winehouse started playing when she was 16, and she still drops an eye there through Sam's paintings (her friend and owner of the site). A little, magic place.

Late opening Jazz bar. Usually no or little cover charge, can be busy late but usually you can find a seat eventually. Service is friendly. Decor and cocktails a little dated now, but usually there is live music, it's not unreasonably priced, and it's one of very few places open after midnight, so always a good goto option for that last drink or three...

Great evening with live music. Place in which you can feel Amy's Winehouse spirit thanks to Sam who loved her very much as her father and real friend. He is owner of these great place. Feels like a long standing venue had a collusion with a cocktail bar, cheesy art gallery and a cafe! The staff however are cheery and welcoming, the food was surprisingly good and the atmosphere, whilst dingy and upon close inspection rather run down, is an intimate one that feels comfortable to be inside.

Enough food quality with an out of this world atmosphere to listen to live jazz. This place struck me as the best value for money ever in a city like London. It can evolve your more romantic date in life as well as a lonely heaven . The perfect place to enjoy jazz perfectly seated without the unconvennients of the crowds and the packed places.

I have been taken to this place by a friend who is a repeated customer of the place, as he was really amazed by the Thursday performances of Elleana. I found out myself that yes, he was right going there regularly. I witnessed it myself that Elleana is an incredibly talented singer, and her voice has blown me away. She accommodated requests from the audience without hesitations and a welcoming smile. No wonder why I became one of those repeated customers like my friend who took me there. WOW, highly reccomended if you want to hear a voice to travel you way...

Surprise surprise - a lovely singer on, and the this tiny venue has GREAT mixed grills! What a buzzy little joint - I thought there were none left in London! Highly recommended! Try their Back to Black cocktail in honour of the late Amy Winehouse who sang here - it's fab.

You have to judge this place on everything, the whole atmosphere, remember this is a piece of history, Amy Winehouse cut her teeth here and was great friends with Sam the owner, you don’t come here for a five star Resturant if you want that go to the Ivy although that’s not great. You get good food in an authentic musical venue, it’s small and intimate, go to Ronnie Scott’s if you need fake pretentious overpriced nonsense, come here if you want real.

One of those bars that you end up "by accident" because your looking for a bite to eat after most kitchens. You take a look through the window, then hesitate to pay the £5 entrance fee to see a live gig. But you"re famished so you go in anyway. When you come in, it soon becomes apparent that Amy Winehouse hung out here and performed. It "smells" like Amy. And the food and cocktails are delish. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun and the hosts are accomadating and nice. Then when you go to pee and you realize Amy probably sat in that very spot (probably also the reason it has never been replaced even though it REALLY should be), you also realize you have just spent the perfect evening in Soho at Jazz After Dark ❤🍸🍷🇬🇧🎵🎶🎙🎹🎷
