Went here with family that were visiting London. Booked a table for 10 via a Groupon that came with a 3 course meal. The show and service was great, highly recommend. What let the experience down was a couple of things. Firstly, we were crammed into a booth that wasn't really big enough for 8 people, let alone 10 which meant that a couple of us had to end up sitting on what can only be described as footstools. Basically a hard wooden box with a little bit of padding. Secondly the drinks at the place are extortionate. Apparently the pumps were down so no pints, only bottles... at £7 a go.... That right. £7. Ended up just getting wine, with the cheapest red starting at £35

Really immersive experience in the city. Underground Gatsby themed afternoon brunch with atmospheric fog and dark lighting to make you feel like you're in a 20's speakeasy in the dead of night. Staff was good about coming around and filling our drinks, we had a lovely chicken and mash meal and choice of two desserts. The entertainment was good especially the host which was funny and sang songs throughout the night. There were about 3 main acts that did two slots each, the burlesque acts were very tasteful with a vintage flair to match the environment. Really enjoyed the 'evening' as it ended about 5 PM we were a bit stunned to come back out into the light after so many drinks. Would recommend to couples but also there were a lot of hen parties there who really put effort into dressing up for the theme. Good experience

Great atmosphere with smoke machines and 1920s era seating/layout. The host was funny and talented, and our waitress Sandra was great! The waitresses are in burlesque clothing, which matches the theme of the Cabaret. I had the duck and Caesar salad, both of which were prepared wonderfully. This place is definitely great for for your money!

We visited as a birthday celebration for both my wife and brothers wife's birthdays. Charlotte was assigned as our waitress for the evening and she looked after our table of 6 fantastically. I booked this as a last minute thing and everyone in our party agreed this is one of the better night's entertainment they've had for a long time. We booked through Groupon so it offered fantastic value for money as well. We originally intended to visit the Camden branch but were informed of a gas leak which meant the venue was shut so we had to switch to the Fenchurch venue, I thought this might have been a problem because our Groupon voucher was for Camden but the lady taking the booking was very accommodating. All in all I would definately recommend this as a night out to any of our friends.

Fun night and servers/hostesses are lovely. Performers are great but they put on better shows at Embankment because they’ve got a bigger stage to work with and can use hoops, ropes and silks - this venue is much smaller and focuses on floor shows.

Great venue! Absolutely fantastic acts! Unfortunately the hostess was incredibly rude. She sat us so we couldn’t see because of the pillar. We politely asked to move and she denied our request. Even though we had paid for tickets for this night. I missed most of the show because of it. Very disappointed in her service.

Great night. One of our waitress Laura from Italy was fantastic. Sweet and friendly. She chatted and made sure we were taken of. With our table of 8 very intoxicated people. The show was superb and drinks were fine. Food was average. Given our tab was steep. If you want a good night and have at the very minimum £500 to spare I would recommend or if you're not drinkers. The prices for drinks were maybe £14 each and they charged the alcohol and mixer separately rather than the alcoholic beverage as a whole. Hop house was £11. For London prices not terrible at all. Cokes £0.80 so..... your DD will be happy.

My mum and I went for a night out to Proud Cabaret last night with absolutely 0 idea of what to expect. It was the best night out I think I've ever had to a show. The food was wonderful, drinks delicious (and kept on flowing!), and our host Coco was awesome! Didn't stop laughing, blushing and grinning all night. Highly recommend!

Well after reading the reviews which are wide ranging. These are my experiences brilliant that the napkins are linen ( I think ! and that's important) The food is very nice however the gap between courses is too much. The performers are outstanding. Overall we had a fun evening and would return. This was a gift from my past work colleagues and I thank them for giving me and my husband a great night out

I think the show was OK. 2 Burlesque type dancing etc and some "variety"" type acts. Who were also OK. However, I shall not be returning here. The venue layout is interesting. There are tables and chairs at the front, an area that contained only booths and the other half of the room had seating around the edge and a huge empty space in the centre. The area where the acts perform is lower than the seating area. Much of the acts were contorting on the floor. So you cannot see the show from certain seating booths, unless you stand up. The atmosphere was like a wedding reception and I felt like the distant cousin stuck on a table furthest from the bride & groom. The food was tasty enough. I won't be coming here again, there are other Burlesque places and I'd rather go there.

Had a fantastic night out here for a friend’s birthday. The shows were all fun. I was super impressed by the singer, what a voice! Staff were all lovely. One Advice would be to bring a list of the food order because we all forgot what we had ordered haha.

Top Class Cabaret!!! This is a fantastic venue and something that's been missing in London for far too long. It really provides a warm environment where everybody can feel like a VIP. With a good food menu and some great tipple on offer served by charming and friendly staff. The cabaret show was fantastic and curated by the most incredibly entertaining and talented compere. I'll be going again and again. Give yourself a treat and book a group of friends in for a brilliant night out!

There were 15 of us last night and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was amazing, the performances top class and our waitress for the evening, Sandra (young spanish lady), was fantastic! She really took care of us all evening. My only criticism would be of some of the waiters bringing in the food were incredibly rushy and not really giving us time to figure out whose dishes belonged to who and instead would just leave them randomly on the table and walk off. If it weren't for that I'd have given them 5 stars.

You can tell the staff get along well, everyone was very friendly and helpful and that showed through the service. Speaking of which a service charge is added to the bill but considering the quality of customer care it wasn't a problem. Will definitely be revisiting :)

I went there with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago and we had such a nice evening! Yes, the food wasn't deluxe cuisine but if I want to dine really fancy, I go to a fancy restaurant... The meat and the dessert were very good though! The whole ambiente, together with the show, is just fantastic! The waitresses look all amazing and they work really hard to give you a nice evening. We enjoyed the show, had a good table close to the stage and I really loved how the decoration was so retro -chic! If you want to have a fun, nice night out then this is definitely something I'd recommend!

If you want a special different night out with friends then this is a great idea. We went on a Saturday and it was superb, we all got a little vintage and dressed up. The staff were lovely in their skimpy outfits, the entertainment was brilliant, we had a booth and it was so much fun. The meal was great for the price and the booze wasn't too badly priced. I would definitely choose this if you wanted something a little different then just a meal out. It takes you back to the good ol' 40s/50s of dinner and a show. Brilliant.

The atmosphere is amazing ! Cabaret show while you eating is a must to try, amazing place . Great selection of wines and dessert wines, food tasted very nice and seasoned at the right point, great host and staff ! Only shame is that I heard that the 15% of service charge included to your bill, doesn't get distributed to the staff, so quite a shame as the waitresses doing a very good job and they look fabulous in those dresses, so wouldn't bother paying for it . Overall experience was great tho, must try !

I went to Proud Cabaret city with my Friends. It was the first time in a Cabaret Burlesque Club and all we are left speechless. This restaurant is adorned with a unique style, rich in details. All the staff follow a dress code. The food is great, no long wait, good wine list and the show is really funny. The queen of the night was the Fantastic and charming Betsy Rose that made the show full of elegance and sex appeal. Many thanks to our waiter Luca who made us feel at home all the night not miss anything at our table.

We went few times on a Thursday. It was intimate, which was perfect for us as we needed a chilled night out. Never visited on Saturday, I read it is very busy and rowdy, not sure whether that would be our cup of tea. Performers were stunning and most of them quite cheeky (I would not recommend sitting at the front:). It is quite a cool place to bring your friends to if they have never seen cabaret, especially as the wait staff are very bubbly and serve your food while wearing corsets.

What a wonderful experience !!!! My first time in London and my first time in a Burlesque Venue. The welcome was great with a delicious food and drinks. The style of the club is unique. The show hilarious and sexy. Really a nice evening thanks to the waiter Luca who made us feel welcomed all evening recommending an excellent wine and taking care of us!!!

My guest and I attended on December 27, 2018. The venue is set up nicely. It's nicely dim. The dress code smart casual wear wasn't strict because some individuals in the audience were wearing jeans and comfortable t-shirts but majority were in nice smart looking outfits. However there is a mirrored pillar in the center of the front of the stage where the performers were for most of the night. My guest couldn't really see the entertainment. And I could see partially around the pillar. The waiter and servers were friendly. However when my guest realized that they didn't order a starter or appetizer, he asked our waiter if he could order a soup. Our waiter claimed that an appetizer was already chosen, which this confused me and my guest. My guest immediately had shown the pre-order meal list I had completed and screenshot for us on his smartphone to the waiter. The waiter said "I have ordered a salmon appetizer for you but I can see if I can change it for you". It took a while for the first course to arrive, it was around 8:45pm when we received our appetizers. Whereas some of the audience (larger groups already had their starters or appetizers). I had noticed as time passed and the entertaining host and Burlesque performers begin is when our food arrived. Which the performers were great. However there was no Black and People of Color performers out of the five of them including the host. And I know Black and People of Color Burlesque performers exist, I attend events that have them. The food courses ranged from decent to yummy. My guest thought his meals were okay except he never received his red wine, but enjoyed his cheesecake dessert. I did enjoy the sea bass, and the sticky toffee dessert. We were surprised that our dessert arrived quickly, that was great. When it was time for me to pay which I used Groupon, it took awhile because the waiter needed to speak to the manager but the issue was the card reader paper was empty, and another was broken. Haha! The red wine never served to my guest was not added to bill however a service charge was which I was told about when I booked the order, and called the venue to give my Groupon code. The waiter said "I have given a discount for the pillar in the center of the stage because you couldn't see well." But there wasn't a discount when I figured out the rest of the cost unless it was a tiny amount taken off from the service charge. Ha! I have never heard of Proud City Cabaret until I had searched on Groupon for a going away celebration for my guest. Overall rating I give is 3 out of five stars.

Service and front of house was kept on point with waitress and host. The show was the best part with audience participation. Great atmosphere as well. However, its a different story with the food. The food was not to the same standards as everything else. My cod was well overdone and mushy. The lamb was very mediacore. The salad was the worse part. Unwashed salad with soil/sand/dirt on it. Couldn't see it properly due to poor lighting but you can feel it grinding on your teeth when you bite. In short fantastic show, poor food.

Very disappointed. I took a group of friends here; the initial impression of the decor was good. However the compere was the least funny person I have ever seen, all she did was shout and the only joke was her! Until of course the main show came on which included a ballerina with traffic cones as shoes (really - not funny, not sexy!) The food was pleasant but portions were very small and cocktails averaged at £10 a glass. Management were very awkward and unhelpful and quite rude. I would never go back even if it was free and trust me it isn't and would not recommend this to anyone. Even the burlesque dances were short and rather amateur but nothing compared to the very weak compere. This place could be really good but it needs to change most of the acts and the manager. Shame, we wasted just under £1000!

Had a lovely birthday celebration at proud. Had the bronze package, it was amazing. My friends loved it and so did I. The show was so much fun, and the dinner was pretty good. We had a decent menu. The drinks were a lil pricey but it was pretty good for what it was worth. The after party I'd recommend the little rnb room but if you're interested in electro and dance music then there's a bigger room. The bartenders were lovely and everyone was very friendly. I'll highly recommend this place for a birthday celebration. It was pretty cool. Thanks proud !

One of the best nights I've had the pleasure to experience. The food was good, there were plenty of choices for cocktails, and the staff were lovely, friendly and very attentive. The burlesque, of course was the highlight of the evening. Ms Chastity Belt is an incredible entertainer, hilarious and has an amazing voice. We were lucky to see the acts of Missy Fatale and Ms Betsy Rose, whoa are both wonderful, and constantly keep the audience mesmerised at their magnificent art of dancing. Truly a wonderful performance of burlesque. Well worth the money.

We were in London for holiday and we went at Proud Cabaret City for dinner . We were fascinated by the location and the style of the restaurant. Nothing was vulgar, perfect in all details. We were celebrating my friends Hen party at proud city a few weeks back and was a memorable night. The entertainment was fantastic and the staff were amazing in particular Kelly our waitress for the night 5* service from her. she mentioned it was her first night never would have know as Kelly was very patience especially when it came to splitting the bill at the end of the night between 12 people. Over all a good night the only reason it's not 5 star it was very hot in the venue did not feel the air con was on and I ordered 2 double vodka and cranberry from the bar and tastes like there was no vodka in the drink. Other than that brillent night would 100% reccomend. :)

Good food, great show and amazing service! The compare was hilarious and the performers were mesmerising. If you come here definitely try the venison and coconut panna cotta and if you happen to have Naomi as your hostess - she is the best! Special thanks to her for taking care of us! After the show it does turn into a club and some of the tables get taken away but we were warned beforehand so it wasn't a problem at all. We had a great time!

After having a great night of fun at the embankment branch, i couldn't wait to come back with some friends. It was a brilliant night and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The performance was brilliant, the food incredible, and the customer service was second to none! Love it!

I booked 2 tickets for my girlfriend and myself (this and the trip to London being her Christmas present) with an outsourced service (design my night) which screwed up on the reservation. I paid 80£ and we weren’t on the list once at the entry... They reassured us and – being full this night – they did set up an extra table for us which was actually perfect to follow the show. Obviously you have to be careful with the extras – basically the drinks – but that’s the same everywhere as far as you’re spending the evening in a club (I don’t understand the bad reviews about that) in center London. We both agreed that 40-50£ for a 3 courses dinner and such a high quality show was fairly cheap. They could have just say no at entry. Instead of that we spent an amazing night, would obviously recommend it and will definitely come back. Thanks again.

I was brought here by a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The Burleque show was sexy, entertaining and led by a delightfully foul mouthed Master of Ceremony, whose name escapes me unfortunately. Ms Derriere was by far my favourite performer. The food was disappointing, but who cares really! Following the show, the setting was changed into a club with a dj spinning the latest and best Hip-Hop, R&B and Afrobeats tunes. I had one hell of a good night!!

First off I originally booked to see the kit Kat club show at proud Camden but got a call a few days before saying they had somethings wrong with their kitchen so had to move us to proud city...was a bit upset by this because I had a night planned for Camden.... Ok first off We was a party of 2... Got seated basically on top of another party of 2.. Was very crammed in and felt like we had hardly any personal space.. This also meant it was very hard to see the stage..Also was right on the aisle so had waitresses rushing past us constantly. Waited quite a while for drinks each time we ordered... Even asking for a drinks menu took 10 mins. They know how busy it's going to get so maybe a couple more staff? I liked the food but was still hungry afterwards.. The show was good but there was only 3 different performers..4 including the host. I was told that if I wrote a review there and then that I was get free shots.... We didn't get any free shots! (I have now changed my review as to what I wrote last night in front of our waiter...) I was asked if I wanted to order a birthday cake for my sister as a surprise so I said ok then.... (£4 extra) our bill came and they tried to charge us £8 for 2 cakes even though we only ordered one... And they try and add on £4 for a brochure... So be careful of this and make sure you check your bill. Drinks are very expensive... Was kind of expecting that though. Not sure if I would Visit again... Although if there was more than 2 of us we would probably have a bigger table so may not have been as bad.... There was spare tables so we could have possibly moved but was too much hassle to ask!

I was curious about the place after seeing so many good reviews...also skeptical as the servers are always mentioned by name. So we checked out Proud Camden during our London pub crawl. We'd never been to a burlesque club, and it was a hit! Just a fun, upbeat atmosphere, and we WILL mention our server Ruby by name because part of our good time was due to her perky service and attitude.

Came here for a friends birthday, didn't know what to expect. Proud Caberet blew my expectations out the water!! The food was beautiful. I had the onion soup, cod and eaton mess..... soooooo much yum!!! Our server Olivia was unbeatable and a beauty. We were so lucky to have her and her amazingness! I went to proud Cabaret on the 11/12/17 for their Christmas special in a group of ten. The atmosphere was amazing the performance was also amazing that's were the pros stop. The menu for the night was pre booked £50 a head however certain starts was an addition. So I paid extra for bread and butter, the scallops were revolting they tested like the had been frozen for years and was mushy with a fishy after taste. The turkey was over cooked and dry the roast potatoes were not roasted the one slice of carrot was hard as nails and the two Brussels sprouts were cut in half to look like four. When the bill came we had a heart attack two bottles of wine charged at £35 each that was fine, one bottle of Prosecco which was put on the bill as champagne £44 two Jack Daniels one with coke, two glasses of lemonade and a bottle of water £160 pounds. Our other table received a bill of £340 pounds which had extras add on which no one had ordered we was also charged for a slice of cake with a sparkler in it which no one asked for. The manger had to be called then the waitress then became rude. Believe we will not be going back to this establishment as they are con artist. Watch your bill and costs.

Over priced, that's all I can say. A 6 quid bottle of wine is marked up at around 45. Show was just ok. Nothing special. Can't really say it was a show, just women parading up and down wearing burlesque gear. Food was okay, no complaints there. A groupon gets you in for food but expect a bigger bill when you're there.

I love Burlesque and I've been to a lot of Burlesque shows e.g. in Berlin, Hamburg, Paris and I can say that Proud Cabaret really has the best artists that I've ever seen! My friends and I really enjoyed our evening! The waitresses are gorgeous and very professional. I'm so happy that I've discovered this exceptional place in central London! LUCA whos has served as the whole night made sure our glasses was never empty and was amazing and so friendly did not want to leave the place.Food was very tasty and worth for every penny we spend here. I am a singer from Italy, and last week i went with some friends who live in London (and always wanted me to go with them) in This AMAZING venue. The food was great, as well as the environment and the general atmosphere, i 'de say ICONIC. The staff has been lovely from the first moment that we arrived, and the show was absolutely entertaining. This place is a little bijou - you'd never know it, because it's hidden so well but honestly it is one of the best places I've been to since moving to London. The staff are fun and friendly - others will agree that they make you feel welcome. The City venue specifically is spacious and has a great atmosphere even before you set foot on the main floor; the music is proper 20's style and the performances? Wow! There's classy, sassy, naughty and downright dirty - it caters to everyone. Last, but certainly not least, the food. Lord, the food! Some complain that it's overpriced, I say "You're living in London!" so get over it - it's not as pricey as people make it out to be (like some other venues who really DO rip you off). I haven't tried all the food but I can tell you that I've liked everything I've had so far but that's just the Winter menu. I think they change them every season. Overall, is the place perfect? No. Perfect doesn't exist, but if you take it all in - the bubbly collection of staff, the unique atmosphere, the amazing show and the good food (not to mention a seating area for SMOKERS! Hooray!) and the fact that it's hidden in a district crawling in suited bankers, insurance brokers and business travellers 9am-5pm? The pros waaaay outweigh any cons.

I recently arranged a staff Christmas do here and both myself and my colleagues had a great time. The food and drinks were a good standard on the evening albeit the drinks notably expensive. After some awesome club music (such as Prodigy) towards the end of the burlesque it was a slight anti-climax to have the DJ afterwards play some slower tempo tracks (like motown etc) when he really should have kept the pace high. All in all a good night and worth the experience. The burlesque girls were spot on, especially the host!

Me and my film/photography team have come to this venue multiple times for an evening out for meal and show, the reason why is because it is a lovely excitable venue, the food is tasty, the staff are very welcoming, polite and respectful and always looking very pretty in their outfits, the show is amazing and very different from what you could imagine, some people may think it is a strip club, but not it Is not, you don't throw money at the wonderful acts on stage, yes it Is a little nudity but hey its an 18+ venue, we are all adults and do love a bit of nudity from the guys and dolls 😉, the acts are sexy and classy, we have also been on a Friday and Saturday which is when they have a night club straight after the cabaret, the atmosphere may change for the night club but all the customers along with ourselves all enjoy out time and feel safe, drinking, dancing and a few other acts which makes it more enjoyable, if you are looking for an evening out for yourself, you and your partner, friends or even company day out, this is definitely the place you would want to be, without failure you will most definitely enjoy it, so to all the staff at proud cabaret all of us at N.G (Next Generations) would like to thank you for your hospitality and enjoyable nights, see you all very soon #Next_Generations
