Wonderful venue for a party and a great host! Booked Stokey Karaoke for a birthday party and the whole experience was great! Vanessa was very helpful with my questions before hand and had some great suggestions for the night. The venue itself is a lovely size for a party and it's great that you can have the whole place to yourself. Relaxed atmosphere and good selection of songs - I look forward to going back there soon!

I booked here a few months ago for my birthday; the whole process from the initial booking to the actual event went smoothly. This is down to Vanessa, the owner, being excellent at what she does! She was helpful with all the questions I had before booking and was lovely in person too. Shout out to her brother Gavin too, he was serving drinks and was also very welcoming. The venue itself was cosy and I really liked that you get the whole place to yourself. Drink prices are very good compared to other karaoke places I've been to and there are a wide variety of songs to choose from. Highly recommended if you want to do something different for a night out!

Had the best night ever. Vanessa was really accommodating with our dates which we changed so many times. Booked for a Wednesday and had the whole room for 15 of us which was amazing. Great choice of songs, great drinks, great price. x

We had such a brilliant night at Stokey Karaoke! It's a perfect sized venue with enough space for non-singers to hang out and have a chat. The owner and staff were wonderful - accommodating, flexible and friendly, and responded immediately to any queries in the run-up to my booking. They made me and my guests feel instantly at home for the few hours that we were there.

10/10. Vanessa and the team have been nothing short of fantastic, helpful, welcoming, enthusiastic and warm ever since I booked the place out for my 30th birthday. It's an absolutely hidden gem of an independent business with stellar customer experience. My friends and I loved getting to know the team on the night and we didn't want it to end!! Will never not be able to listen to Babycakes and not cringe at myself, but worth it.

Oh my days!! We had the most amazing time here! Where do we start? The owner of this place - Vanessa and her team.. they are so friendly and accommodating. The place is small and intimate and comfortably held our group of 14 with ease. There is a small bar area for your drinks and you can pay by card. There are props and wigs for when you need to channel your inner Tina Turner!! It was just what we needed after the long lockdown. We were able to 'sing' our hearts out without being told off!!! A fabulous fun filled evening of karaoke. I booked the venue for a 3 hour slot last Friday and had a singing extravaganza. So much fun :) 🎊💃🎤🎵 The equipment is easy to use and there is a good selection of songs, a bit more reggae though please. The time went by so quickly everyone was up singing. It’s been a while since I have had those calls on the morning after the event to talk about how fantastic the evening was. The staff were super attentive and friendly, thank you for a great evening. Book now !!! You won’t regret it

This place is amazing! We booked a double bday here and I have to say it was my best birthday yet. Vanessa was such a lovely host, so welcoming yet never obtrusive. It really makes a difference when your host is laid back and friendly. The space is so great, nice and cosy but big enough for a proper little party! The song selection is really wide, and you get wireless mics which is great for group songs, they also have probs which is a fun touch. The bar has a great selection, and the vibe is just perfect - it’s got that underground dive bar feel without being tacky. 10/10 recommend - will be coming back for sure!

Excellent! This cool speak-easy karaoke with super attentive hosts has all the tunes, drinks and atmosphere for a fantastic party. Sneak down the stairs from the busy high street and overground station to an intimate bar and stage. Easily select all your bangers on the go, and most importantly duet with your mates. Perfect for birthdays or a memorable night!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could! I recently celebrated my birthday here and am so so pleased to have found my new go to spot for any and all occasions! The venue is amazing and much better than the overpriced sweatboxes you pay for at places like Lucky Voice. The song list is on point, the karaoke is easy to use and the massive projector meant that everyone could easily sing along. Besides providing the ultimate karaoke experience, Vanessa and Gavin were brilliant hosts and absolutely made our evening! If you're thinking about booking - absolutely do!

Stokey Karaoke is a great venue for letting your hair down and singing some tunes. We hired out the space, fits about 20 people comfortably. The design of the space and the little details really do make the space stand out from other Pubs and Kareoke places I’ve been to in the past - with loads of props and fun things to dress up with. The owner Vanessa was great fun too and accommodated to all our needs! We will definitely be returning :)

Fun night out in Stoke Newington. My friend booked this karaoke venue for her birthday and we had a good time. Small and intimate space and we had it all to ourselves. Owners allowed us to extend our time and have a longer time on the mics. Added bonus: Toilet was very clean.

Convinced the work lot to give this venue a try as we usually book one of the more overly priced central london spots for our quarterly sing song. We all had a blast and stayed an extra 2 hours, ordering pizza inbetween! Amazingly intimate with such a great vibe and well priced bar and good equipment. Had so much fun that night that I went ahead and booked the venue for my own Birthday. Company had voted that this will now become our usual spot so I guess another 20 odd people were impressed.

Wicked space to rehearse in! The crew and I ran rehearsals here for a few weeks straight (fight sequences as well). The place has the perfect amount of room, you can make as much noise as you want and is situated right near the station so everyone could get there easily! Definitely booking this space again! 👌🏻

All the staff: amazing and really funny — absolute heroes. Had a bit too much fun the night before and left my phone and thank Jesus they kept it for me, and even set me up with a drink. Felt like I was at a basement house party. Nice feel, good mix of intimacy, cool, non-pretension and a dose of a bit of camp of course. Highly recommended!

Love the vibe. Love the owners. You book the place for yourself and friends it’s like your own little place because of the size. Fish and chips and roti shop just a few shops down. What more could you want? Would definitely recommend. Plan to go back again for part 2. Songs could do with a bit of an update though. 👍🏽
