Reviews of The Breakfast Club Canary Wharf

Really nice place and atmosphere. Staffs were nice and friendly and the customer service was decent. You’ll probably have to wait for a bit on weekends after 10:00 but they'll leave your number and send u a text when your table is ready. The food is the BEST!! Really enjoyed the pancakes. Strongly recommend it!

We had breakfast here last week and we liked it. Staff were nice and friendly and customer service was good. Food was good as well and it look like they have few new good food options. The only downside was that we had to wait quite long fir our food to arrive. We had berries pancakes which was delicious, eggs royal which was good but the muffin bread was a bit dry, french toast side which was good as well and mac and cheese which was really good. Kids enjoyed their chocolate shake which the staff kindly divide it to two cups as they don’t have kids portion, kids pancakes and chips.
The sitting area is really nice and comfy.

As in the other branches, the pancakes there are simply amazing. If you aren't sure which ones to get, go for the sweet ones, with the cream on top.
A great benefit is that they have early bird bookings even on Sunday, until 9:30.
Book ahead, come early, come hungry. You won't be disappointed.

Definitely coming back to go through the menu. The mains were massive, so much flavour. Wasn't a fan of the brioche french toast with nuts on top. Tasted weird. But definitely get involved. So much to choose on the main dish menu. It's located right under the big easy/sky garden. They've just opened a pub at the back. It's currently a hidden gem. Get in there before everyone else finds out. Parking is free on weekends for 3 hours in Canary Wharf if you spend over £10. Otherwise it's reasonable. Recommended.

Well that was quirky! We had a cookery class to attend and had 30 minutes to spare with a calling for coffee and hot chocolate. Wandered in to check they did hot chocolate (why wouldn't they!?). It was late afternoon with only a handful of people littering the upstairs and downstairs combined. We liked that 'empty' look although wonder how different it would have been pre-pandemic. I don't do coffee...long story...ask me someday. Wife had coffee and I took the hot chocolate. Full of praise. Very creamy even without the offered marshmallows....I don't do marshmallows....long story...as me sometime.

Yes to food, yes to cocktails, yes to staff and yes to entertainment! We’ve tried deluxe breakfast with rib eye steak and double cheese burger, juicy! Food was really nice, and pancakes are real American style, not some fluffy English version. Delicious cocktails, and staff so friendly that we spend few good hours eating, drinking and playing old school games on vending machine!

Pictures are the greasy spoon and classic American.
This place has a slick web based queuing system which was appreciated. The chap on the front door was a paragon of patience and friendliness.
Food was slow coming but they handled that well with some drinks on the house. It was also worth the wait.
I am normally skeptical of potato based entries outside hash browns for breakfast, but these were crispy and extremely well seasoned. There wasn't enough maple syrup for all the pancakes, I used mine over two out of the three. I left the last one as I was full, but I got the impression that they would have brought you more had you asked.

Excellent, love this place, haven't been here for a couple of years and the first time taking my 3 year old. It really was a treat for him as he got all his favourites, pancakes and hot chocolate. Definitely we will be going back with him as he really enjoyed the food. Only thing I can say is, I would have liked the bacon little bit more crispy (I'll ask for this next time) other than that can't fault. Excellent service and friendly staff. We went early, 9ish plenty of seats.
S. B.
Very cute diner feel. I got the classic all American which was feeling and good. The pancakes seemed a little dry but the tasted good. Staff was super friendly. Would return.
D. S.
The Breakfast Club is a staple of London's brunch scene and guaranteed to help out with any level of hangover! The photo is of their All American Deluxe breakfast. It comes complete with a tasty steak, a big slab of tasty bacon and the usual trimmings. It's a big meal and very tasty, great home fries.
If you're planning a trip on a weekend be prepared for potential queues, this place is very popular! But worth the wait.
S. D.
A good way to summaries the breakfast club is tasty, artery clogging, American inspired breakfast food with an equally juicy price tag.
Definitely a fun recommendable experience eating absolutely massive portions in an American style diner however it wouldn’t be a place I’d visit regularly. Maybe once in a while as a treat but I’m not sure my heart nor my bank balance could cope with too much of the breakfast club.
I would still definitely advise anyone looking for an out of the ordinary, absolutely delicious and incredibly filling breakfast meal, to visit the breakfast club if you have the chance.
P. I.
They fixed my soggy bottom!!
So I went to the breakfast club and really craved a butty, of course there are fancier things on the menu. But when you fancy something, you fancy it.
Food came fast and I had a weak but tasty filter coffee to keep me company.
However the food arrived the bottom of the butty was completely soggy, I'm talking drenched. I'm not big into sending things back, but I just couldn't enjoy a crispy top with a soggy bottom.
It got changed quickly, second time around it was delicious!!
All in all a great place, probably a bit rusty after a long hiatus.
Still probably the best breakfast in Canary wharf.
A.
Unfortunately not a huge fan anymore.
Before covid all the branches were way better. Now everything is overpriced, quality is not the best and the portions are almost half!
This was the lime wedge we got as a garnish with our food, probably 4 days old...
This place has great potential but it seems like the owners don't care anymore especially about this branch.
Please don't end up like a McDonald's type of shop, the strong point of your "caf" were it's people and their diverse personalities combined with nice food in a good price, now it's a barcode, delayed service and mediocre food...
I hope I'm not too harsh but it's just sad to see such a lovely company losing clients because of the lack in management...
Ofcourse I won't and I would never rate you with 1 star as i had an amazing time in most of your venues over the past 2 years, I just hope my review will end up in the right eyes and maybe we will see the good old Breakfast club coming back :)
M.
Friendly staff, great food. Long waiting time on weekends but you can leave your number there and they'll text you when your table is ready.
N. M.
Enjoyed these pancakes! The portion is pretty large, with nice whipped cream and berries. The coffee was really good, soft and creamy. Definitely coming here again☺️.
C. M.
Ok so it could've been a 5 but they didn't have waffles, I went there for their chicken and waffles for an American breakfast experience but ended up settling for the full monty. My friend wanted a cocktail but they didn't have the grapefruit needed for it, so 2 items we wanted not available, could it be a Monday thing? I don't know but they should still have it if it's on the menu. Apart from that, food was good, my favourite was the pancake and maple syrup. Service was friendly and they were accommodating.
K. R.
I do love coming to a Breakfast Club, and to be honest this is probably my favourite one to this moment!!!
F. F.
We sat upstairs and the floor there is very cool!
Customer service was very nice, we waited a little bit but it might be due shortage of staff but was not an issue for me, the waitress and the manager were very kind.
Food was fresh and very delicious! I strongly recommend it!
i. s.
The ambience and service is good
We had the american breakfast along with avacodo cheese sandwich, it was yummy
Only the sandwich bread was too hard to chew so had to leave it
D. M.
American here. The ham hock eggs Benedict. That’s all you need to know. Perfectly poached egg, salty ham, delicious. Top 5 bennys of my life….sorry for the already eaten pic but I couldn’t stop. Our Keira Knightley-looking waitress was fantastic(sorry I didn’t catch your name)
S. F.
Been there last friday for the first time.Really nice place and nice atmosphere. The food was really nice and tasty but we were the only one in restaurant and we had to wait almost an hour for 3burgers(giving 3stars just for that).Overall nice place would recommend it.
j. s.
Had the all American and fried chicken French toast. Pancakes good, portions good, vibe excellent. Wasn't a huge fan of fried chicken French toast - too cinamony and would be really good with hot sauce
M. K.
Amazing customer service from all staff here at the Breakfast club. Jill and Ebony in particular. Their customer service was very warm and welcoming and service was very fast. although I wasn't a great fan of the food I had ordered. My friends food was spot on. it was recommended by Ebony. Will defo visit again!
C. B.
Been to the other Breakfast club in Stratford/Hackney Wick. Canary wharf was more modern and not the rustic feel like the one I mentioned. But same great quality food I must say so wasn't disappointed overall.
S.
Delicious meals and good variety. Reggie the Veggie is definitely a must for vegetarians. Great spot!
O. I.
One of the best breakfast restaurants in London. Very lovely staff and tasty meal.
V. G.
Me and my friend have chosen egg Benedict and the pancakes, it was delicious. Will definitely repeat it again. It was a queue when we arrived but haven’t waited for very long, we were told 20 minutes but in the end was only 10 minutes. The staff are very polite and smiley. Quick service, food arrived so fast. Definitely recommend this branch!

I used to love coming to The Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf as much as some of the others. However, the vibe does seem to have changed over the last year. It's still a great place, I enjoyed paying a visit earlier this week, whilst the food remains as delicious as ever. A small improvement would be the phones being answered, instead of cutting off after just four beeps, as well as actually being open during the specified hours. Being closed without any customers at 18:30 on a Sunday, whilst both Google and The Breakfast Club's website states the restaurant closes at 19:00, is quite strange without any communication.

For those wishing to visit this location please be aware. On arrival to the location it was very confusing as to how the service works, we wasn’t greeted by a host or a hostess. Once seated by our own accord we waited for someone to take our food and drink order, as you already know we do not know how the service works in this location so we waited for almost 12min until I got up and asked the gentleman at the till “hello how do I order” he’s response was nice and helpful. He than told me to sit down and a hostess will be on her way. Once met with the hostess she asked if we had any allergies or intolerance, I found that to be very notable as I’ve been to many restaurants and not a lot of people remember to ask so well done to her. I than proceeded with my order, I got the American classic and my wife got the greasy spoon. Will start with the GS, from her first bite I could tell something was wrong. I asked her if everything was okay with her food she didn’t respond but her face said try it. My first bite was from her scrambled eggs since that was maybe the only thing I didn’t have on my plate from the first bite I could tell that the chef was either lacking in experience or didn’t have the correct measuring tools. The egg was coated in seasoning to the point it wasn’t an egg anymore it was a pile of salt and pepper. I than told her to leave the eggs and skip to something else but due to the over power in her taste buds everything including her drink tasted like the seasoning. Now on to my meals the AC, first bite I took was from the homemade potatoes and it was terrible so much salt on the food my tongue began to hurt from all the bitterness. My bacon was burnt so burnt there was a crunch towards every bite. Unacceptable. All in all the whole experience wasn’t to the standard I assumed it may be. But if I’m wrong I’ll be doing a follow up visit very soon. Thank you for reading
Kind regards,
- L J M M

Amazing experience! Even though we had to sit outside due to covid restrictions the staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. Plus the food is so tasty! Highly Recommend Have great vegetarian options too 👍
F. M.
Overpriced for the quality. We went before: it was cheaper, more tasty and you got more. Now it looks more like a British fantasy of a US dinner, with English sausages and potatoes instead of hash browns and normal sausages. But the place was full, so why would the owners bother ?
E. A.
An alright american style restaurant.
The food is mostly hit or miss - their desserts are quite good but the rest are OK/Average.
I would recommend their pancakes which come in huge portions and are reasonably priced. I’ve visited this particular one in Canary Wharf a few times and left unimpressed (decided to give if a few shots).
Staff aren’t that interested in your overall experience and seem a bit stressed.
The place looks nice though - it has that american diner look and feel - and it gets really busy during peak times so you really need a reservation to make sure you have a table.
Overall I would visit it again to try american style foods and desserts when I feel like it.
B.
Nice and cozy environment, with excelent serving and warm staff! To be honest, we would have tried everything on the menu, but our bellies can only fit so little. Will definitely visit again, in our future London trips!
V. K.
Lovely experience at The Breakfast Cub, their signature pancakes covered in syrup & bacon was fresh juicy and divine. My son loved their skin on fries a bath of baked beans lol and sausage. Hospitality was welcoming and efficient from all staff members (Superb). Finally… The Breakfast Club gifted us with their Smiley nostalgic mug, more smiles for us.
Thank you again!
M. S.
I’ve been here a couple of times with partner/family but this morning was my best experience at any of The Breakfast Clubs. The girl co-ordinating the queue (from Fife) was extremely organised and friendly on a busy Sunday morning! Both of our breakfasts were amazing and genuine customer service we received from James V was impressive. Thanks to all the team here for a lovely Sunday morning.
S.
Went here for breakfast last weekend, it was amazing - I adore the atmosphere in this place, it's kitted out like a 70's working men's club filled with really kitsch decor - fabulous. The breakfast was wonderful, I had mushrooms on toast (with an extra sausage) and my other half had eggs royale - delicious and very large portions. Great flat whites too and the staff were incredibly friendly even at that time of the morning. Looking forward to trying the pancakes next time.
C. N.
Waited about 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. And waited for 30 minutes for our blueberry pancakes to arrive which did not include any fresh blueberries. There were just a few blueberries within the pancake batter...
S. C. C.
I absolutely loved the vibes at the breakfast club. The food was amazing and the staff members were incredibly lovely. I would really recommend it!
h.
I had a great time here, great vibe and good food. If your a tourist in London I would visit. We all had pancakes which were so filling, the milkshakes were DOPE too but got £5.75 I thought they would come in a bigger cup, I recommend the salted caramel! The restaurant is really comfy and the staff are really friendly.
o.
Very good food and services. Good sized, filling dishes for a reasonably cheap price, albeit waiting times are roughly 30-50 minutes, you are given the option to give your number, wander off, and then come back when they text you within the ten minutes that they hold your prepared table. Service is kind of slow however understandable due to the business.
E. L.
Great place for breakfast in Canary Wharf. The food arrived quickly and I couldn’t fault the avocado on toast. All the ingredients were fresh, just what you want at breakfast. Definitely recommend visiting whether it be for locals or workers.
O.
To enjoy the breakfast club to the fullest your stomach needs to be emptied out since everything here is ultra filling with those pancakes and waffles!! Service was slow even when it wasn't busy, food presentation was good but in total not my cup of tea..
S. M. E.
It is truly amazing; I highly recommend The Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf. All of the staff is polite with excellent service. Even to the point that one of my item food selected was replaced with my choice and was their no charge. My family had a great and fun time therein, as well as all who ate their upstairs was full. So this goods without saying, "it is a go-to cafe for a hearty breakfast".
L. B.
Had such a fantastic meal at the Breakfast Club, Canary Wharf (Saturday 9th October 2021 around 9.30), the food and staff were brilliant. I have quite a few food intolerances and the manager dealt with them brilliantly and made sure the chef was aware of them so I didn't get poorly. Really appreciated the help and it meant I could enjoy a meal without the worry. thank you.
S. P.
Fantastic food but long lines! There is something here for everyone, but it may not be very easy for someone gluten free. I highly reccomend the pancakes with berries. Dishes here are about 10 pounds each give or take a couple pounds. Most days before 2 there is a 30 minute to an hour wait. They do not take reservations so you have to be ready to wait. Very delicious and very american style breakfast and portions.
S. K.
Great option if you feel like brunching at 2pm! The pancakes with peanut butter and jelly were a little heavy and dry, would recommend adding more maple syrup or jelly and less peanut butter to balance the thickness. The service was great.
T. Y.
It was definitely one of the best full English breakfasts we have had the staff were brilliant would give it a 6 star if I could 👍
E. W.
The location is very easy to find. And the waitress called Suzanne is very friendly, she explained the menu carefully to me as a foreigner who is a bit confused about the food. I ordered Mexican eggs with Chorizo and it’s a very delicate breakfast dish despite of the fact that the chorizo is a bit salty. There is spinach and seasonings inside the Nann under the dish, which I didn’t expect, to me the spinach wrapped inside is like a small surprise. The breakfast is very healthy and good-value for money. Moreover, the music played in this restaurant caters very much to my preference as well. They got a hidden bar and the restaurant is also spacious. I think Breakfast club is a good choice to be considered when you want to start a day with energetic breakfast. All in all, this restaurant has good locations, environment, service and most importantly, the food is worth a visit.
J. B.
Great vibe and nice to grab brunch. Usually a queue to get in, so either go early or be prepared to wait. Its worth the wait though.
It's exactly what a British breakfast bar would offer.
J. P.
Atmosphere was great, Music was also fantastic! Foods was average, Service wasn’t good.
I went to here with Boyfriend for Christmas eve. We ordered Two English breakfasts and one set of pan cakes for desert.
The waiter missed our order for the english breakfast despite us double checking before-hand with him so we had to wait almost 25mins for it even though we reported right away. In the mean time they nearly gave us three peoples food as they where highly disorganized (different waiters making this mistake). After a pretty long time, we were able to eat properly, however the bacon was cold on the plate. The sausages where also under cooked and cold.
Overall, It wasn’t the worst but definitely not worth the money spent or the wait, but honestly could be a really good experience if not let down by the poor service and the average food.
H. C.
Great venue in Canary Wharf and friendly staff; had a delicious vegan breakfast! Couple of things would have been nice to be added to the vegan full monty - vegan spread on the toast and a little less turmeric in the scrambled tofu..otherwise lovely and would visit again.
A. K.
Early birthday treat, easy to locate. Warm and friendly hosts from front of house to table hostess, service is good as there is plenty of staff floating about the place so waiting time is rather good. Food is nice and hot and decent portion for breakfast. Only down side is you will feel cold if you only have short sleeve top as the A/C is constantly on.
A. L.
Amazing food at a great price. The portion size for the price you get is amazing! Got our drinks as breakfast came which was about a 20 minute wait (fine for the food but would have liked the drinks) and that is my only downside. Otherwise a really awesome spot!
L. H. K.
10/10 would recommend. The staff is so nice and friendly. I got the all American and a peach iced tea. The homestyle potatoes on the all American are to die for. There was quite a lot on my plate and I could barely finish. Definitely worth the £16.50
B. B.
Not sure why there is bad reviews, this place is amazing, great staff and catered for our
dietary needs.
A.
Great, a bit smaller menu then usual but overall excellent. Visit again after second lockdown was excellent as they open the secon floor now for people which is really spacious👍🏻
S.
Decent breakfast, the outdoor seating area is really nice but inside is really dark, too warm, smells of food and a bit fast food feeling to it. The pancakes are delicious! You have to be there early to get a seat outside, the line gets really long around 10am on the weekends.
V. N.
The food is nice but a bit heavy, so try not to overdo it with the quantity. We ordered the Butternut Shakshuka Benedict and the Disco Fries which were sinfully good. The prices are reasonable for London standards.
D. P.
Great American feel. Lights, walls and set up is very American. Food is not awesome but decent enough. Didnt find anything over priced. Don't forget to have the ginger ale. Simply amazing. Reuben sandwich is the better of the lot. Cheers
C. G.
I have been to other Breakfast club's here in London and this one is my favourite so far. The COVID protocols were applied really good (social distancing, hand sanitiser, masks and utensils handling) and service was friendly, but a bit slow.
I personally like the British breakfast and they are really good at it. Is better to book specially for brunching on weekends, since most of the times there's a queue to get in.
C. F.
Amazing food!! Best potatoes (so crunchy!) and scrambled egg (so creamy!)I've ever eaten in my life!!! Will 20000% be coming back again 😍😍😍
C. E.
Very tasty, both for breakfast as well as if you wanted to grab something after havlng a drink at the Doctor's. The service is friendly enough.
E. F.
Good food and hot chocolate but quite poor service. I wouldn't return. I never understand why service charge is already included in the bill if waiters don't know how to serve and be polite to customers.
R. H.
I have been here twice and always left satisfied. The food is delicious and their staff is really nice and friendly as well. I would like to compliment Adam for ensuring that I am well attended to during my time here at the Breakfast Club. I will definitely return & recommend this place to everyone.
L. O.
We decided to go for Brunch at the Breakfast Club and we certainly were not disappointed! Although there was a wait we could queue online and were texted when our table was available. All the staff were really friendly and the music and atmosphere was great. The food was absolutely phenomenal and would happily eat brunch there every day! Thanks for a great start to the day.
L. D.
Great for either breakfast or brunch. Had the Bloody Mary and the "Greasy Spoon" and was not disappointed. Prices are OK considering the area.
D. L. L.
I have been here a few times and I have always had a great experience! We had a free flowing brunch - the service, food and drinks were all lovely and they also have an awesome (sing-a-long) playlist.
S. I.
The perfect place for Sunday breakfast. Depending on what time you go do expect to wait to be seated. Howevvveerrr the vegetarian breakfast is just 🙌🏾 and the homemade vegan sausages. One Christmas I enquired about purchasing some sausages and the lovely staff gave me some instead (they went down a treat at home for Christmas breakfast).
J. S.
Visited on a Sunday morning the only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because the wait time to get a table at times is excessive. On this occasion I had to wait 60 minutes but the food is amazing!!! The selection is very good and once seated the staff are exceptional with their customer service.
E. N.
Very cool place, with a nice vibe, love the theme. Good food, was quite difficult to make our choice as the menu is quite extensive and we were so hungry we wanted eat everything from the top to the bottom 😄 Definitely worth a wait in the queue for table. First visit but not last 😊
M. A.
Grubs up at the breakfast club the diner for all the family een thought gh there's no children's menu kids can tuck into most of the meals if you're willing to share 😁
S. T.
Very nice place for breakfast the entire day!! The pancakes are perfect and the bacon is crispy. The breakfast club is located close to the station garden which makes it a nice place for eating and relaxing from work or traveling :)
M. M.
Food was great service was excellent. Got a really nice vibe inside, very cool theme. Service was fast.
Andy was the gentleman who served us and was very patient ,polite and had a positive attitude.
Recommend to all.
A. M.
Great food and friendly staff...I did have one issue though ..to many vegan options for breakfast I couldn't decide 😆
L. C.
Great place for breakfast!
Great American menu, fantastic selection. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food was lovely.
T. R.
Ground floor and 1st floor seating. If you’re not in a rush would advise you to sit upstairs.
Here we had the American and it was very filling so go hungry! Food was nice and staff are friendly.
Based inside the crossrail place station, access from outside.
F. W.
Staff was friendly, I was able to get wheat/gluten dairy free breakfast, very accommodating the staff , amazing!
J. K.
The pancakes are fantastic as well as many other options (eggs, sausages & coffee all good). I've been to this particular branch a few times usually during a weekday mid-morning so it tends to be quiet enough & when the service is speedy. I've never been disappointed.
E. B.
Lovely food and friendly service. Only downside is not being able to book in advance at the weekend for breakfast however didn't have to wait long.
I. R.
Very nice location and cosy environment. Prices are okay but the food was a bit disappointing. Nothing so special and not particularly generous portions. Overall a nice experience but nothing to remember.
W.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Canary Wharf. Owens service is unmatched. Owen truly cares about your experience. The coffee is absolutely amazing – everything sip was an explosion in my mouth. Absolutely the best coffee I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend! Thank you Owen.
C. A.
The place itself looks cozy and comfortable, nice design.
The food was not very good, my vegetarian dish was extremely oily, which made me a bit unwell.
They have been out of chicken waffles for a while, which I wanted to try and some other items missing from the menu.
Lovely location though and the staff are nice.
D. O. B.
A bit overpriced, but good service and food never disappoints. Nice music too.
E. E.
Nice ambience, decent staff, but issues with the food. My latte was bitter from most likely burnt coffee beans (not sure why this would be served, knowing that it was most certainly bad). The berry and blueberry pancakes are not well balanced. For the same price, you get significantly more with the 'pancakes and berries,' than you do with the 'blueberry pancakes and bacon.' The pancakes generally need moisture, and the copious amounts of cream served with the berry pancakes provide that. However, the 'blueberry' pancakes, which also need moisture, have no cream at all, when the berry pancakes - which already have a lot of other things in it - have too much cream. I also felt that the blueberry pancakes and bacon did not deliver what was written on the tin. Very few blueberries in the pancakes, + loads of bacon + 'no cream' + a bit of maple = mostly dry pancakes with bacon. Had I not had the chance to share some of the cream from my partner's berry pancakes, I would have left very disappointed, and probably given 2 stars. This is because the food failed to deliver. I expected blueberries, and barely got any; I expected some cream, and got none; I expected a decent coffee, and got a burnt one that I did not drink. You combine all these with the prices attached to each and you can appreciate why I am not pleased with my visit, and so was my partner. Rectify issue underlined
G. C.
Everything we tried was amazing. Mexican eggs are something else, combination of eggs, refried beans, spinach quesadillas and chorizo makes your day. Definitely coming back in the next trip to london.
c. d.
I got the all star breakfast, which had pancakes, syrup, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes and eggs (your choice of scrambled, poached or fried). My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles, which he did not enjoy. For the price you pay, you get a lot. I was full up before I finished. Nice place to go to as a one off but not a regular.
R. M.
The portions are large, next time I'll probably share with my husband. The pancakes were fluffy and the vegetarian breakfast was flavoursome. Made a pleasant change that it didn't include either quorn or frozen style vegetarian sausages. The coffee wasn't great and my caramel latte was far too sweet to finish. Tables were spaced and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Friendly staff.
L. C.
Great food and bar is Fab. Great atmosphere
J. Q.
A good place to have breakfast. Fresh ingredients used and at a lovely location. For a traveler like me, it's the best place to have breakfast and start the day.

As a belated birthday present I was treated to ‘Strictly Come Drag Queen Brunch’. I can’t say I was thrilled by the idea but apparently I was very wrong. We were slid onto a banquette just as the ‘Hey Shay’ started and boom the bubbles appeared with no danger of glass half empty pessimists being able to precipitate on the parade. The food is of a proper solid ‘Sunday comes after a Saturday night’ style served pretty slickly as to not deviate any attention from the sassy quartet of ladies providing the immersive entertainment. Not much could, they were on fierce raw point. The final impression when we came down the stairs to leave was the utterly charming blonde lady who initially greeted us who was evidently doing some paperwork, jumped up and gave us the biggest wave, “BYEEEE’. Really tickled me. That was a good Sunday, thank you!
S.
Nice food, really good service, nice atmosphere a bit pricey but I think that's due to the area.
B. B.
Great breakfast food.
Nice environment.
I'd like to see more variety and, why not, some creativity on the pancakes menu.
Tip: as the date of this mini-review, the Canary Wharf branch is the least busy of all. Always a table available.
A.
Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overpacked with customers. Nice quiet lunch. My waitress was lovely and catered to every need. I'm also convinced the cream and Berry portion has increased too which was a pleasant surprise as I still had some left over at the end. (And that never happens!)
A. M.
Really good quality, good service, tried the chicken and waffles. Nicely executed and the pickle made it better.
For American-ish food, I think portions were on the small side of the spectrum.
S. E.
Teresa - funny, charming and a hole lot of fun. The service and food at the breakfast club was amazing, would definitely recommend it as the service and food is speedy and tastes amazing ❤️
# your mum loves a sausage!
J. R.
Loved this place although it's a tad on the expensive side, £2.50 for a cup of tea!
But have to say the bacon roll was the best, not skimped on and fully loaded.
D. L.
The breakfast options are unbelievable! All amazing foods to chose from makes you want to return and try everything!! Absolutely delicious!
T. T.
quick service. chicken burrito was excellent and the flat white. Outside view from the restaurant nothing special.
J. B.
One of the best brunch meals I've ever had, accompanied by lovely staff and beautiful ambience
A. M.
The food was very tasty, with very good and friendly service. Perhaps a bit pricy, but otherwise a great place for breakfast food.
j. c.
It's a nice to have brunch out and I really enjoyed my time here, great food and the filter coffee is probably the best I've had that I can remember. Couple of things held off the 5 star this time, mainly I think the charging 1.50 for filter coffee refills is a bit tight especially when filter is the same price as an Americano. Also it would be good to have 2 portion sizes available, the chorizo hash is great but a massive portion - would probably recommend for 2 with an extra side!
S. H.
I love this place. The whole idea of pancakes - sweet or savoury at any time of the day is just so perfect. Salted caramel Banofee pancakes are a must try, best egg Benedicts, Disco fries & the All American!
D. G.
A nice little place hidden on the back of the breakfast club.
Great ambience, good service and nice selection of alcoholic beverages and cocktails. Recommended.

Food at breakfast club is always delicious. I got the fruit pancakes this time and it was heaven. They’re so fluffy you gotta get them 😍🥞 Friendly staff and chill atmosphere.
A. K.
Good food but need to improve decor. Great staff 👍🏼
M. D.
Always wanted to go here. Good was tasty and staff were friendly and attentive
M. S.
Great food and really good customer service from Sky today to resolve a small mix up with our order!
S. V.
Awesome burgers, nice location, good brunch menu. Can't complain. Might have to have a but if there's a queue though
T.
was super tired and superhungry, stopped and did not regret a thing thanks for saving ma soul; having a nice breakfast at like 7 pm felt amazing
also they’ve got very cool cups
A. K.
Nice and cosy atmosphere. Food was tasty with lovely staff. Will come back soon with some friends
S. T.
Awesome food love this place music is also great. Very popular place to go speaks for itself. Highly recommended.
M. V.
Foodnis amazing! Very good size portions as well. Absolutely delicious!
J. W.
Was here early Saturday morning and the staff were just lovely and welcoming. Great food and great coffee, but really appreciated the warm smiles of the friendly staff!
L. M.
Had steak and eggs with English breakfast tea. Eggs were good but steak was a bit chewy. Great atmosphere upstairs and very attentive staff.
Thanks
B. O.
AMAZING!! Stumbled across this cute retro cafe and the vibe is so great here. Food was sooo delicious I am so full writing this but so satisfied and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend!! All American breakky was to die for!
C. W.
Really nice place for brekky. We'll priced. Nice environment. Good staff. Been here several times. Go for it 😁
A. M.
Really good quality, good service, tried the chicken and waffles. Nicely executed and the pickle made it better.
For American-ish food, I think portions were on the small side of the spectrum.

Everything we tried was amazing. Mexican eggs are something else, combination of eggs, refried beans, spinach quesadillas and chorizo makes your day. Definitely coming back in the next trip to london.
E. S.
Very accommodating, great ambiance
M. O.
Turn your phone it’s worth it.. once again breakfast club delivers

I went to The Breakfast Club at Canary Wharf this summer and I was a bit nervous about eating out after the pandemic but the service at this restaurant has been beyond exceptional. I was attended to by Laura and Jenny - both of whom made my eating out experience feel safe and fun. I do have to say that with such good service and such exceptionally trained staff, I will be returning as a regular customer!

ASAT English Breakfast!

P.S. Paying only by card!
P.S. Service Charge included (12.5%)

AMAZING!! Stumbled across this cute retro cafe and the vibe is so great here. Food was sooo delicious I am so full writing this but so satisfied and the staff were lovely. Would highly recommend!! All American breakky was to die for!

We moved away from the area but really miss Huevos Rancheros - but they are not doing it any longer !!!! Why ?
L. H.
Great brunch as usual though the peach prosecco cocktail was awful. Far too much peach making it a really heavy drink!
B.
The food is delicious, portions are very large. The only downside is that the town is crowded and loud but this is not a big real when u get this awesome food :-)))
M. F.
Absolutely amazing! Me and my boyfriend came here for brunch and we're not disappointed, almost all of the dishes on the menu could be made vegan or vegetarian, which makes it perfect for people with dairy allergies (and obviously if you're vegan or vegetarian). I had gluten free pancakes (which were amazing) and my boyfriend had the full English breakfast. The staff were very friendly despite a very busy restaurant.
J. L.
Lovely environment, great food. The staff are quite friendly.
With the new rules due to coronavirus, you need to join a queue through the website but you might need to wait outside once you get there.
R. T.
Can't go wrong with the breakfast club. Whether it's this one in Canary wharf or the one in the city.
C. M.
Great selection for those with food intolerances or allergies. Recommend the oat milk latte with a little bit of maple syrup instead of sugar!
A. A.
The food isn't great but the atmosphere is fun and friendly!
S. M.
Such amazing food, American portions absolutely gorgeous
J. L.
Really nice place to have a brunch on the weekend! Usually quite busy so you'd better come early or book a table! Maybe a bit of waiting...
M. M.
Friendly staff, nice design of the interior, some creative flavours in their dishes. Unfortunately we waited very long for dishes with chicken which arrived undercooked.
P. B.
My visit to The Breakfast Club at the Canary Wharf was exceptional. The food is great but the best part was indeed the service! I was attended to by Andrzej and he provided excellent service! The one thing that I love about eating out is getting good service and this has warranted The Breakfast Club 5 stars <3
p. d.
As always a pleasure to be a guest in breakfast club Canary Wharf; the food is always good; but today in particular it had something magical thanks to the beauty of your waitress; 😍😍 I could know her name to thank you 😅😅 ig : pierdaddy
S.
Gets 2.5 stars as the 50% off was a nice surprise, food was average, I'm not the kind to like scrambled eggs that resemble water and the fried toast was SOLID, staff were very polite, made sure the new covid rules were understood. But all in all if it was full price would have been lower, food was just average
A. W.
Really good visit and we made use of the offer that was on in the local car parks.
The Breakfast Club, despite its prices being higher than a standard Cafe, is a really good treat. The potatoes, eggs, sausage, pancakes and bacon were all of an exceptional standard.
The restaurant was very busy and we had to wait a little while but it was definitely worth it and I will be sure to return.
Would definitely recommend the All American if you like a bit of everything!
C. L.
The place is nice but I don't recommend the sandwiches, it is impossible to eat the bread.
V. N.
Used to be a great place but the quality of the food has gone down a little bit. Last two times we went, we got our food before the coffees... didn't feel very fresh more like pre-made long time ago and then heated. And some of the recipes have changed like the disco fries used to have loads of good stuff in there but last time it was a lot more fries and a lot less of all the other toppings.
B. M.
Great Atmosphere and felt really welcome by the staff! We had a great server - Owen. He told us what he recommended and his recommendation was definitely a good one. I had the Pancakes and they were so delicious!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good brunch!
P. C.
Really great venue - loved the order at table functionality
J. G.
There is more space than some of the other branches so our group of 4 were seated straight away upstairs (there was a wait if we wanted to sit outside).
Initially staff were friendly, efficient and great. However, when it came to payment we encountered problems, it took forever and the waitress couldn't split the bill, kept trying to charge us the wrong amount and for things we hadn't ordered, eventually she asked her manager who did resolve what she couldn't work out.
Though the food was amazing, we are all vegan and all got different things. The vegan pancake stacks are no disappointment, proper huge american style stacks and they are so fluffy! The oat milk cream was an extra bonus too - recommend ;)
A friend had the butternut squash bubble and this unfortunately quite a small dish for the price, but was extremely tasty and nicely presented.
D. M.
Ordered The All American and Pancakes & Berries with my girlfriend today, OMG was so delicious!!
The bacon, potatoes and pancakes were so amazing, the way we love it!
P. P.
I love this place so much I have literally brought every friend and relative here. Everyone finds something on the menu to their liking, the music is always enjoyable and the staff are delightful. Eat upstairs if you can for extra comfy seats!! And Robert needs a raise. He asked how we wanted our orders and I said “With a Disney song.” So he sang Let It Go for us.
A. P.
I had an amazing time here on Saturday night. All the staff members were really polite and ready to help. I was served by two of the nicest waiters I had pleasure to interact with in my whole life - Jenny and Andreas. They were superbly helpful, really patient and so kind! Huge hug from me and looking forward to coming back to see these two amazing people, and looking forward to meeting the rest of the staff!
E.
Great ambiance! Delicious drinks (£9/cocktail)
M. C.
Food was excellent but service quite slow. Putting it down to teething problems from reopening though. Highly recommended for anyone that wants a decent brunch.
L. C.
Absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend this place more! The team were just fabulous, so fun and friendly. We had the best time! Catered perfectly for veggies. Hilarious entertainment for the Strictly Come Drag Queen special event. Haven't laugh so hard is ages! Certainly did not disappoint! Bottomless prosecco for 2 hours. Endless laughter from start to finish. Will definitely be back again. Thanks so much X
J. I.
Food was a bit oily and the coffee taste sooo bad :( didn’t enjoy the brunch there, sorry
N. D.
Good measures of covid19 precautions have to check in with NHS track and trace system, mask needa be on and hand sanitizer was provided upon entrance.
Super busy on Sunday around 10am, 1st floor seat were full, have to settle for a table close to the entrance.
Digital menu with QR code on the table. But I have problem scanning it (don't know why) after 5 minutes of struggle, I was provided with a hard copy.
Had a hot chocolate, hash brown and pancake with berry. Food were ok, service was quick. I was told food need about 30 minutes of waiting time. And probably because I was occurring a table of 4 all by myself and they wanna push me out asap so the food arrived within 10 minutes and when I have my bill the waiter forgot to charge the drinks, even mention to him, he didn't care and said it's free.... Well, what can I complain 😅. Having said that I didn't feel being push out so they can turn the table at all, they let me had my meal finish my drink very slowly.
When I finished there were already 10+ ppl waiting outside. So my advice is to early and avoid waiting in the cold 😛
A. L. (.
Really tasty food and excellent service at the Canary Wharf branch. I had the Korean chicken pancakes and they were delicious. There can be a wait to be seated but that is because it is so popular. Not very easy access for disabled customers as you have to go upstairs for the main restaurant, but there is seating downstairs and I saw a customer in a wheelchair get seated and served with minimal fuss. Which is what I assume everyone wants, to be seated and eat with no problems.
A lovely place to have brunch or an early dinner. Very relaxed and chilled vibe.
P. W.
My partner had the berry pancakes and I had the bacon & pancakes. Both were good, but I recommend the berry ones as they come with a generous helping of thick, whipped cream and that definitely provides necessary moisture to the super-thick pancakes. (Mine were yummy, but a bit dry - I had to ask for extra syrup.) Both dishes were very filling and a good value for money.
The service was just absolutely stellar all the way through. They're definitely very busy, but we went in expecting that based on other reviews (we signed in with a lady who had a tablet and they texted us about 30 mins later for our table). Tablet lady was just super nice to everyone, our waitress was sweet and friendly, and the folks who brought out food/coffee were all chill and competent. Nobody forgot about us or left anything out that we had asked for.
I. S.
It was nice, not overpriced, portion was okay. No complains.
A. N.
Visited this place twice in 1 week, once for breakfast and once for lunch. the staff is super friendly and fun, very interactive and attentive. the food is outstanding! you have to try the Reuben sandwich, it's super satisfying! the pancakes and maple syrup are also delicious! only sad to see an empty stage, would love to come back during a live band performance. you've definitely won us over, and we'll be back for more!!
S. S.
Nice variety of options with plenty of substitutes for vegan's/vegetarians.
Prices are a bit steep but the food is excellent.
Agree with some of the other reviews...the coffee needs some TLC
L. H.
Very nice setting! Excellent food and great service!
E. C.
Three stars for the atmosphere, brand, and popularity of it. They have a lot of events and other things on, which is nice.
But the food was pretty sub-par. Waffles came burnt to a crisp. Everything else was fine, but nothing to go out of your way for.
L. M.
The place is nice spread over two floors. The seating is a bit cramped. I visited early afternoon for brunch and their was a line that took 10 mins. The service was nice. I ordered pancakes the quantity of the serving was very filling wasn't able to eat all of it. Presentation of the food is also good. The service team is well organized
L. B.
Absolutely excellent meal. Extremely accommodating for me and my family! The food was on another level, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Owen in particular topped it all off as well going the extra mile to be friendly, welcoming and making sure we were well looked after. Will definitely be returning soon.
H. B.
Very nice saturday cocktails and more
T. S.
We went to The Breakfast Club with my family at the weekend to have those nice pancakes everybody talks of. No doubt, they are soft and yummy and looking soo good. Service was supernice too, our waitress took a good care of us. We will definitely return next time we are in London. :)
L. W.
Loving the New plant based menu! Bubble & Squeak is a must ! As recommended by the loveliest waitress I’ve had in a long time.
“Lizzie”- really passionate and great knowledge of the menu! Such great service and had a brilliant conversation with her too
I work locally so will Defo be back to indulge in more bubble & squeak and vegan lucky pineapple pancakes !
Thanks so much Lizzie you’ll be amazing as an entrepreneur!
m. h.
The atmosphere in this place is very friendly and the staff is amazing. Esther took very good care of us, she was cheerful and very professional. Hamza behind the bar was also chatty and very friendly. The portions are big and the food is tasty. Great experience.
K. J.
Hands down the best place to get breakfast at any time of the day. Food is always great - even though the service could be slow (due to clearly being understaffed) - it's worth the wait.
Hats off to our waiter Lizzie who did amazingly with our table of five, despite the restaurant being insanely busy.
P. P.
We had a great lunch. The food was amazing (big portions too) and we were very well taken care of by our server Esther who made sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to going back soon!
8.
Great customer service, nice vibe, I like the concept of being able to have an all day breakfast. However I did find the food a bit disappointing, maybe it was the time I visited, but it was very obvious the food had been super microwaved, the eggs were Luke warm and super runny ( and I usually love runny eggs). Did put me off a little bit, but the pancakes were divine!
G. R.
Lovely food and venue - near-ruined by its frosty staff.
We visited as a party of 9 for the boozy brunch deal - brunch plus unlimited beer and Prosecco at £39 a head. This was a rather good deal. We enjoyed some lovely brunch food that came fairly quickly and lots of nice drink.
The venue was also very nice - I shan't spoil the surprise as that's part of its appeal, but suffice it to say it was a great setting.
Unfortunately, the staff were very stony and stand-offish. We tried to order drinks that were clearly on the menu to be told rather bluntly and flatly that they did not serve such drinks. Further, when I tried to order a side (with the menu specifying that the brunch meals included a free side) I was again told with the same cold tone that I would have to pay for it - and was argued with when I pointed out what the menu said.
At the end, despite being in a near-empty venue, we were handed the bill without request, which to my mind is always an invitation to move on - which we did.
It's a real shame, as the attitude of the staff started off the afternoon badly, made my guests feel awkward asking for more drinks or extras for their meals and just made us feel like an unwelcome annoyance from start to finish, and yet the food makes me want to go back very much.
But when you've got The Big Easy upstairs offering much friendlier service... well...
M. L.
The American experience, definitely not something you can eat everyday but it's been fun!
D. R.
this breakfast club isn’t the normal breakfast club it’s actually the breakfast club pub. The menu is very odd but the staff are amazing the food came out great but sadly I was expecting a normal menu. Due to Covid there was a reduced menu and staff were on job with ensuring you sanitize hands.
A. B.
Surprisingly good. Food was tasty and came quickly. Fun atmosphere upstairs. Very retro. Coffee was quality. Service a bit hands off but fine given the style of restaurant. Had chicken & waffles and the shakshuka Benedict.
f. b.
One of the best breakfast in Canary Wharf! The food is always delicious!
D. K.
Excellent service. We got our table fairly quick. Teresa that served us suggested the chicken and waffles and it was so good! She was very cheerful and happy to help.
Totally recommended!
D. H.
This place was pretty cool and the staff were quite friendly. But the chicken in my burger looked like a lump of carpet from a skip. It was dark brown in colour and literally resembled the consistency of... carpet.
It tasted ok but did not look very appetising and it couldn’t have been fresh.
Also, I really didn’t appreciated the “discretionary” service charge that was automatically added to my bill.
S. K.
Food looks good but not as tasty as it costs
G. S.
I always go to the Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf and every time I find good food and great service with smiling waiters and waitresses. This time especially, Ester went for the extra mile. Such a lovely person. Best place for breakfast in East London.
Susanna as well... the best in town. Always smiling and helpful.
M. I.
The location speaks for itself, the restaurant decor is interesting and has retro Americana appeal. However, the food is pedestrian at best. The breakfast club sells standard brunch and breakfast items that do not have any standout appeal at premium prices. The quality of food is satisfactory, however if you are expecting greater you will be disappointed.
M. B.
Decent breakfast at a decent price. I had the Cabbie's breakfast: eggs, toast, ham, bacon and beans. Pretty good. Price is on the higher side, but this is in Canary Wharf. The interior has a really cool, American diner vibe to it. Friendly staff.
D. S.
With my cousin we wanted to taste a real English breakfast during our weekend in London and we weren't disappointed. The food was good, quite affordable and we enjoyed the nice weather while seated on the terrace.
The staff is not extraordinary but professionnal.
We'll come back with great pleasure.
A. M. A.
I always have mixed feelings about any Breakfast Club, wherever I go.
In terms of food, the place is quite nice. Worth the hype? Probably not, but nice enough that you definitely want to try it once. It's not overpriced either, although not cheap, and generally nicely cooked. On this occasion, we had the cubano sandwich and huevos al Benny, which were definitely very nice.
As usual, the nicest part of the experience are the very nice staff the BC has: super friendly while not overbearing. Always a smile. Really outstanding.
Unfortunately, as usual as well, the part I struggle with: unnecessary waiting when tables are available (seriously, people: no need. Doesn't make me want to eat there anymore, rather, it puts me off) and the ever so tacky decor (I know that's part of the identity but in some branches it's definitely on the too-dated side).
Bottomline: definitely good to try but wouldn't wait on the line for it if there are nice alternatives around. The staff are its best thing.
I. S.
Ordered the Eggs on Bloomer along with a Flat White. Everything was great!
N. F.
My local favourite place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Slightly overpriced but acceptable for the occasional treat. People working here are always super friendly and it’s usually quick, except if they are super busy (which does happen on a regular basis), and the food is delicious!
F. L.
Had such good bacon pancakes with a yummy sausage roll and tea. The pancakes were stacked high and fluffy and very yummy. The sausages were lovely and well seasoned inside a glossy brioche bun. I only wish there was more syrup. Other than that I will definitely be back! :D
A. H.
I had delicious pancakes with bananas and good coffee which means a perfect breakfast for me. Very friendly people. Robert helped us a lot to choose the right option from menu. I will definitely come back there!
M. S.
For the most part this place is great, great menu, great prices, great location, friendly staff. They do good American Pancakes, a rarity in the UK. This, like most TBC places feels a bit overcrowded and sometimes too noisy to have normal conversation with somebody sitting a foot away from you on the other side of the table.
P. K.
I wish i could promote the hype about this place, but the breakfast really are sub standard, they look amazing but really for me do not cut it. My wife had the stacked pancakes with cheese and ham, nice cheese and ham, pancakes however are very stodgy and thick, with the small amount of syrup they give make sure you ask for lots of water to wash it down. I had the breakfast, it was nice but not AMAZING, Go for the experience of saying you have been as the atmosphere is great. But dont expect fantastic food,.
I. E.
The cocktails are excellent. There is a nice amount of vegan options on the menu. The vegan bacon wasn't my favourite though but the menu overall seems good
M. L.
Tried the pancake stack here, it was alright but nothing special really, good American-sized portion though, gets you full. Couldn’t get a coffee ‘cause their steamer was not working. Also felt like the music there is way too loud for a breakfast place.
M. D.
Sadly both mine and my girlfriend's poached eggs were over cooked and there was a mix up with my girlfriend's order.
The staff were really very helpful and took the service charge off too. They passed our feedback on to the chef immediately. Sadly we didn't mention it as soon as we tried the eggs.
May give them a second chance based on the customer service. Otherwise I wouldn't go again.
A. A.
Great place in terms of trend.
Too expensive and the food it’s just okay. You can make it much better at home to be honest.
Helpful stuff but very busy and too long queues.
The Greek young girl at the reception is the star of the place!! 😃☺️
R. J.
Lovely atmosphere which makes it a great treat. Slightly more expensive than a regular cafe but the quality of food and service makes it so worth it. Our waiter Owen was very attentive and helpful. Will be returning back very soon.
D. L.
Food was good, service wasn't... and they had tagged a service charge on to the bill. No one gave us a menu, so we had to go take one from the bar, then had to go back to the bar to make an order as we had been sat for a while waiting. Guy behind the bar gave the excuse that he was new. Not really rocket science is it... Food however was very good, as was the coffee. Not impressed by the 'optional service charge' we found on the receipt after paying with nothing on the epos to remove it.
W. R.
Good food, very good coffee (proper decent crema on top of the coffee, and not overly frothed milk) and great atmosphere. It's pricey, but that's Canary Wharf for you - what do you expect? It's worth the money though - the pancakes are just fab and the portions are generous too.
N. M.
There was 1 hour wait time (last day of EOTHO scheme) . We decided to wait by hanging around elsewhere. I remember eating the pancakes some years ago and found the pancakes amazing so I've been craving it. After 55 mins, we were notified by text that our table was ready. Ordered pancakes and a milkshake. The pancakes seemed old and not fluffy the way I remembered it. Was almost stale. The cream was melting. However, the portion was huge (5 or 6 slices?) And I only ate half and took rest home. Customer service was 10/10 and staff were lovely though obviously tired from their busy day
S. H.
Nice experience, altho the food was nothing special, neither of us liked the cumberland sausages, service was very good, by friendly staff
A. B.
Spent a great morning having breakfast here. We were well looked after by our waiter Owen who was happy to explain the menu and was friendly and knowledgeable. Would like to visit again soon.
A. G.
The takeaway food options from the ground floor are good. The milkshakes are somewhat dear if you don't get a full fill, but are otherwise tasty. Upstairs is great, with a good American focused menu. Reasonably priced and good service.
S. G.
I’m still hoping someone will explain this place to me one day. It’s okay, but people go nuts over it. The food is middle of the road, you’ll have much better and much worse. The hype is unwarranted, why are you queuing to get in on your precious weekend?
The quiz night was quite fun, but nothing to write home about.
If the Kardashians were a restaurant they’d be Breakfast Club.
A. Z.
Let's start off with the great points. The place has such a great vibe and it's unique in Canary Wharf. Drinks were good too
However, the staff are so rude. The blonde hair girl on Saturday night didn't engage with any customers and came up to us and just said "we're closed" and snatched glasses from the table. I understand wanting to go home, but there are other ways of asking customers to leave. Change the staff to people who actually want to be there and this place would be great! I'd take more people there
V. G.
My fiancé summarised it as “remarkably average” and that seems fitting. I’m comparatively generous with my 3* review. The savoury dishes are underwhelming, the pancakes are better and that’s what really drove up our overall experience. The most frustrating thing about the breakfast club in Canary Warf is how poorly they manage the place. They are full of empty tables, yet they continuously send people away under the pretence of a 35minute wait. If I was the owner I would not be happy with how the seating is managed. A lot of missed opportunities. I definitely won’t come here again even though the pancakes were alright.
E. S.
This was nice. Basic concept but the pancakes are very good. Staff are lovely. Could extend the choice of milkshake, and have a few more bits on the dessert menu. Food is very filling.
D. V.
I have recently became a resident of Canary wharf and i was on the search for a new brunch place to fulfill my weekends. This is definitely the one. They provide a wide variety of sweet or savoury dishes and a GREAT coffee.
I wont say much reagrding the staff cause their hospitality is just fantastic ( you can find out yourselfs) . Ester and Andreas are making this experience feel more alive every single weekend.
D. E.
I am a big fan if the breakfast club go virtually every weekend.
Service is excellent time after time which is why I keep coming back.
I love the casual attentive service by the staff and would recommend trying it at least once. After that I am sure you will be hooked.
P.S. arrive early as it does get super busy and you get the added bonus of getting a seat of your choice.
C. R.
Had an amazing time. The atmosphere is very good, the food is amazing and our waiter Owen went above and beyond, with superb people skills and of course extreme politeness. Will definitely be coming back.
D. P.
It's ok place to have a drink but not a great place to chill with friends;)
C. H.
There's a small seating area near a bar on the ground floor which is decent if you want a quick bite. The main dining area is upstairs. There can be a wait for tables here.
If it's busy you can expect long waits for staff to see to you and bring your orders, and there's a chance they'll miss something (they forgot the bottled water and side chips I'd asked for when I went). The food is decent and the price isn't outrageous.
T. F.
Cool vibe and great music. Went with group of about 20 colleagues and used the Speak Easy. Nice selection of snacks - nachos, wings, fries - all pretty decently sized with fresh flavours. Would be nice if they had a non schooling beer, but tonic water was okay! Colleagues enjoyed the wine, cocktails and champagne :-)
P. B.
Good sized portions and plenty of options for everyone..
V. T. A.
Really warm and welcoming place! Amazing pancakes and super friendly staff, in particular Owen whom served our table with the best customer service. Definitely a regular spot!

I usually love going there but this time the service was really bad. It took a really long time for us to get something to eat. I re-ordered a drink and was ignored by the waitress had to ask again. When we wanted to know how much longer we would have to wait, we were told that it had only been 20 min (it had been 40).
People that had arrived after us were served before us!
Then we still decided to order a dessert and this time we were told it would take a long time, it ended up coming in less than 5 min.
Anyway, it was disappointing and not to the usual standard.
N. M.
Staff friendly enough but once seated we were completely ignored. We had to basically beg for them to take our order.
However, the food came quickly and was pretty tasty.
They add an “optional” tip of 12.5% to the bill without asking.

This place recommended and did not disappoint. The location is great right on the Wharf.
Two people had the pancakes which were huge. I had the breakfast sandwich which honestly paralleled NYC (which is hard to do).
I realize this picture does not help but we forgot to take photos 😁
G.
Great comfort food! Really friendly staff when I visited as part of large group and nothing was too much trouble, but have also been here before in a smaller group with similar helpfulness. Great 1970s-inspired decor and decent prices too, considering the location.
C. F.
Great place to go to for drinks as it closes late and the staff are always super friendly and attentive! The cocktail and food menus are 10/10
J.
Had a great breakfast here this morning. Just wanted to say how warm and welcoming all the staff was. In particular Tchara P who served us. Great customer service and a credit to your business 👍👌
P. (.
Massive breakfast and good all day, also love the secret bar at the back. There is also a secret menu (see photo!)
J. O.
Super place. The prices are pretty much in line with what you'd expect to pay in London, and perhaps a cheaper than average. Three espresso Martinis and two giant plates of food and a fiver change from 50 quid. The two girls working when we went last might were friendly and professional. We were there for 2hrs and had a great time
J. R.
Great breakfast, but not enough gluten free options and no gluten free bread, which was a miss, but our waitress was super helpfull and understanding. She checked all our questions with the chef, and helped choose the best option, a rare thing in restaurants! Will be back.
N. M.
The food was incredible, but our server, Teresa! (AKA the Dutchess). She made the whole experience. I don't think I could imagine a kinder more attentive server. Will definitely be back!
B. M.
Good quality food with veggie option, had the 'Reggie Veggie'. Reasonably priced for location. Atmosphere was a tad noisy considering it was 11am and there were a few noisy babies in the background. Service was OK, could pay more attention to detail on cutlery hygiene but overall would revist but not too soon.
H. C.
A place not for the faint hearted, but if you are really up for a breakfast feast look no furter.
J. L.
Always expect a queue with the Breakfast Club, and this venue is no different. Took us a while to find the new crossrail building but when we did there were plenty of places to eat, and The Breakfast Club managed to find us a few spots at the counter which worked fine. Food was good as always and we were also able to try some milkshake which was very tasty!
I. K.
One of the best brunch places I ve ever been to, and really cool music. Big portions, amazingly tasty pancakes, and Esther will always welcome you with a big smile!
S. K.
This one is a little bit different from the more central Breakfast Club. It's still exceptionally busy like the others, and you should expect some wait to get a table, but it just isn't as jazzy as the others. Same menu. Service is a bit slow considering how rushed it always is here - I've been here a few times when there was a long wait for food, food arriving cold, or at different times. The menu is different during weekdays compared to weekends as expected, when it's breakfast only. I've heard the music nights are popular, and it's certainly a good and welcome choice in the Canary Wharf area.

We went for an early lunch at 11.30, but had to settle for a late breakfast as lunch only starts on noon even on a business day in a business area- which is at best inflexible
So a burrito and a pancake stack between us and it was very good. Service a little off, having to ask for water and for top ups even though the place was mainly empty.
Still much better than the previous experience of this chain
M. S.
Ordered the Halloumi Wrap with Salad and the Breakfast Berry Shake - had a lot of berries in it! Absolutely loved it, only wished they served Halal meat - then I could’ve tried more options on their menu. Hence only the 4 stars. My friend ordered the Halloumi Burger with Sweet Potato Fries which was great too - she enjoyed it.

We had a late breakfast today prior to a day out in London. We were served by Owen, he was fabulous, polite and very helpful. Food was brilliant, lovely place highly recommend
L. A.
It is very hard to the get any of the waiters attention throughout the time you’re there. At first to get the Waiter to order your food, then for the bill. There was also a problem with our order which has happened to us on more than one occasion visiting this breakfast club.
K. S. L.
Had a great brunch here on a Saturday before a film. Wait was 35 mins but we squeezed in at the bar. Delicious food and friendly service (esp Andrew who looked after us)! Would recommend.
A. G. U.
We had an amazing meal at time at the breakfast club, massive thanks to our waiter Owen whose customer service was excellent; nothing was too much trouble for him! A credit to your team and we can't wait to come again!!
M. I.
Struggled to give this 3 stars tbh. My good friend treated me for my bday so didn’t feel this in the wallet otherwise it would have dented the old bank balance. I like that they did salmon coz it’s all about those omega 3s. The blueberry smoothie was also really good. However it’s so commercial now you’re just another number there’s nothing personal about the service. There were lots of crying babies and 1 brudda vaping his lungs out in the restaurant. Worth going once or twice to but not for everyday breakfast
D. K.
Honestly after all the hype and friend's recommendations, I expected better. It's just a standard breakfast place.
I got the full monty. Bacon is ok, not amazing. Sausage is really good and relatively bigger than what you usually find, but I'd prefer it to be smaller and we get two pieces. Potatoes not that great. Too much potatoes and beans in a plate. Black pudding isn't my fave.
Wouldn't go back - I know better places for English breakfast.
O. M.
If you're gonna go to The Breakfast Club, you gotta have breakfast right? My fiancé and I decided to go on a Monday morning after seeing the long queues which stretched out to, what seemed like, the west end every time we'd pass by the restaurant (a little exaggeration). It was still fairly busy but the queue was non-existent. All that aside, the Full Monty (full English with a twist) was delightful. The fried potatoes and onions was a refreshing change from the usual hash browns. A decent flat white was a good accompaniment finished with the fresh fruit salad. The service was quick and friendly. Absolutely no complaints.
M. I.
£5 cocktails until 7pm every day. Their buttermilk chicken burger never disappoints. Good service too. You always know what you’ll get. No surprises.
D. K.
It’s 2pm on a Sunday and I really need like REALLY need an English Breakfast! I started my quest at All Bar One they stop serving at 1pm and the Weaterspoon’s 12!!! OMG - then I Google All Day Breakfast near me.... The Breakfast Club! Booooooooom Azzy met me at the door gave me the heads up... They have a BIG All day breakfast! Wahoooooooo Azzy sever my beer, breakfast and was amazing! The food is okay not crazy good for £11 but there’s beer! And £2 for ice cream! Plus the staff are amazing, as is the music and. Atmosphere so 5 STARS well done Azzy...

I am very pleased with my visit at The Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf! I had some food and a cocktail and I enojoyed both of them very much. The service at the resturant was absolutley amazing. I would like to give a special shout out to the two girls who served me, Esther and Laura who made me feel very welcome and helped me with everything I needed. I would definently recommend it to anyone who is interested in a friendly lovely enviroment with some funky amarican vibe.
S. S.
Had a delicious brunch. The size of the portion is quite filling. Suzana was really warm and helpful in assisting with menu. Her style of servicing to customers is excellent
I.
Do a lovely American breakfast with bacon and pancakes! Quick service but often busy, that being said they have a good system where they text u when the table is ready so never really an issue.
G. T.
Everything was amazing, setting, service & food!!! However, i dont know if the beef chilli was supposed to be cold or not, but i think the beef wouldve tasted better hot/warm with the waffles and jalapeno poppers.
C. W.
Really nice place for brekky. We'll priced. Nice environment. Good staff. Been here several times. Go for it 😁
S. L.
Tasty porridge and pleasant staff in a very beautiful Canary Wharf location.
M. O.
Turn your phone it’s worth it.. once again breakfast club delivers
I. “. B.
Aside from the 40 minute wait time, the food and service was good. Whilst seated received a friendly and informative service from Suzanne. We will definitely be returning for future visits.
O. A.
Veggie breakfast was nice and filling. Pancakes were ok. Drinks are stupidly overpriced. Found a hair amongst my mushrooms, I raised it and got my meal on the house. Staff were pleasant.
E. L.
Good food, ok coffee. Very slow staff. Never got asked how food was, if we wanted anything else and hard to get their attention. Gave up on getting a refill on my coffee and asked for the bill instead. Which took 15 minutes to get. Very nice staff though, but might need that extra touch.
S. V.
They only use separate dishes to cook your meal if you state you have an allergy otherwise they cook vegetarian and meat dishes in one pan. Best to book a table in advance to avoid queues. If you just show up you may have to wait up to half an hour however if that does happen take a walk to the crossrail place indoor roof garden which is less than 5 mins away. The breakfast club send you a text when your table is ready.
D. B.
Really enjoyed our visit, we were welcomed and food was lovely. Our waiter (who looked like spiderman) was superb, he checked we were ok and obviously knows his job! Will return.
A. P.
So amazing. I had huevos rancheros and omg such value for money. It was huge, and delicious. My friend had the scrambled egg with bacon - also huge, great place for brunch. I couldn't take a photo of my food before starting because it smelt so damn good. Here is a picture of my half eaten breakfast 😂 salsa and guacamole was on point. Great service, no complaints , interesting decor and architecture, perfecto !
B. R.
Good live music but poor table service even though it was less than half full. Staff forgot about us once they had served the main course so we just left and had desserts and more drinks elsewhere.
B. S.
This place was honestly amazing! Food was great and service was exceptional. I would go back everyday if I could! Special thanks to our waiter Ryan D who made the experiance a real pleasure
M. S.
Very very very good breakfast - I ordered Huevos Rancheros and they were really good, with chorizo, guacamole. Simple but really nice, maybe just tortillas could be grilled or baked, because were a bit rubber. Interior reminds the breakfast clubs I saw in the movies.
K. M.
Ok Drag Brunch. The food isn't as great at events which is a shame because it is visiting on a normal day. Don't sit either side of the back door as you won't see half of the show. Prosecco bottles were swapped quickly to make the most of the unlimited offer, no issues there.
R. R. (.
I enjoyed, the place is beautiful and the food is tasty, but I found better and cheaper places in London, with the same food quality and even better. However I need to give 5* to the staff, they were very friendly with us.
T. E.
Really lovely pancakes. Big thank you to Danielle for making the stay so pleasant
I. M.
Great hearty food, seating and tables are nothing special (standard wooden table and chairs).
Booths are available if there aren't any special events/bookings (upstairs).
If you fancy brekkie at anytime of day, look no further. Perfect for brinner (breakfast for dinner).
M. C.
Lovely place, loved the atmosphere, very nice food, the staff were attentive and polite, our waitress Jenny did a great job recommending the specials, definitely fun place to chill with friends.
L. S.
When I taste good food I give five stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 the food's well prepared and the staffs are extremely lively, nice, polite and we were well attended. Great to find that there's a private bar behind 😁😁😁 Great environment, nice atmosphere ✌🏻
D. M.
First visit. Quick snack after photographic group visit to area. Quit an interesting menu, lots of choice. Food was very good, coffee excellent. Most of all staff were very helpful and charming. Definitely a place to return to.
S. K.
Amazing space! Delicious food, especially the American style pancakes. The staff are lovely. And they do an amazing bottomless brunch with drag queen entertainment!
E. A.
Phenomenal food, served cheerfully by always smilling staff, in a venue reminiscent of the movie Grease. They serve a great milkshake but if you are not feeling too well I recommend you ask the staff to see their resident doctor; he'll treat you well.
K. M.
RE: Stratford/Hackney Branch
Great food but you're watered down orange juice for £4 Is a rip off. In fact all the drinks are overpriced and can you clean your toilets. Because of this, we will not be going back.
S. ..
Fantastic for event hires - Great package deals for large groups. The staff were are all extremely helpful and friendly. Also the music and dancing late in the night is great. Will definitely be returning!
S. A.
The food was good, but the music was so loud that we ended up leaving early. It was so loud you couldn't even hear your own voice above it, let alone the people you're eating with.
A. K.
Staff were really helpful and friendly, especially our waitress, have visited Breakfast Club before but not been to the one at Canary Wharf, will definitely eat there when in the area again, lovely food well presented and lots of choice for the lunch menu☺️
M. F.
Decent food and portions. The place has a great vibe and the staff are nice
P. D.
Good for a quick lunch but the food isn't great. A lot of it is very bland despite being quite easy food to make. Their mac and cheese was a huge disappointment and should be avoided. Staff are always nice but the food is average.
A. H.
I’m speechless
You must try it’s impossible to describe with words alone...
M. L.
Amazing food and live music.
Today’s visit was worth any penny and Jenny made our evening even better with perfect service.
Andreas, thanks for delicious drinks.
See you next time!

The chicken and waffles are banging. Great atmosphere, all staff were brilliant. Very clean, had a lovely meal there.

Excellent breakfast this morning at The Breakfast Club. Very attentive staff, great food and a fab atmosphere. Lots of great events there, definitely visiting again soon!
M. M.
The place was absolutely perfect. Affordable, friendly and clean.
You definitely have to try the Elvis Shake (peanut butter & banana), most delicious drink ever!
K. L. P.
Great food, hectic but a quick turnaround time and friendly staff. If you have to wait to be seated you are asked to leave your name and number (There's a lovely roof top garden upstairs to go for a quick stroll)
M. S.
Great food. Retro decor is fabulous. American diner food done really well. Think Pancakes bacon maple syrup waffles burgers chilli. Good price and service. Recommende
K. L.
Great food and atmosphere.

We had a lovely breakfast today, food was amazing and plates were full! You won’t walk out of this place hungry 👌🏻 Great service from Teresa and all staff! Thank you 💖
K. S.
Fantastic spot in Canary Wharf - whether you want a huge stack of pancakes for lunch, or to indulge in some mac and cheese, this place has you covered! and the decor is great as well
A. J.
An enjoyable atmosphere with Americana-esque ambiance. Had the Full Monty but I recommend trying their Bennies and other specials off the regular beaten breakfast path. Their filter coffee was surprisingly good, too!
R. A.
Came here for lunch on national burger day. There was a long wait on our burgers as there was a problem in our kitchen. When we started to get impatient for our food, they offered us money off which was nice of them.
a. b.
Staff was great and food/drinks even better - what's not to like!
R. M.
It's the only reason I would wake up early in the weekend! Staff is great and everything is fantastic but the food is just incredible!!! Perfect cheat meal :)
K. Y.
Food was fantastic and staff were very friendly and helpful. Pancakes were just SUPERB N DELICIOUS. Would visit again
F.
The food was amazing. Enjoyed every part of my experience with the breakfast club. Absolutely loved Andy. Such a babe.
A. V.
Had a great time on Friday night, with live entertainment and great food (fried chicken and waffles). Robert (or Polka Dot) was a great host and performer, he made my day!
Y. M.
Went here during eat out to help out prices are quite high normally but it was expected due to its location. However the food was in large portions, and tasted amazing.
N. S.
Good food polite staff, mean guy behind the desk.
R. S.
Really nice breakfast and smoothies in the morning. Good cocktails and music at Dr Klugers in the evening. What? You can't find it? It s just there...at the entrance, door on the left down the corridor. Keep your tie on if you dare.
J. C.
Cool retro atmosphere with really yummy breakfast food
P. H.
Excellent breakfast food in a fun retro styled venue.

One of the best breakfast places I've ever been to, I didn't see any halaal meat options but the pancakes are on another level.
G. M.
Super heavy but tasty food. Outstanding customer service. Worth to try. Recommended to share :) understandably pricey
H. J.
Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely music.

I highly recommend The Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf. Food is amazing and the staff is very polite and professional, especially Laura and Jenny. Food is amazing as always :)

A good breakfast place with decent number of options (including vegetarian). Reasonably priced. Good quantity in the plates. Well flavoured.

Great place, had to come here after visiting the Soho original and this site did not disappoint!

Had a great time at the boozy brunch, food was delicious and Lucy (our waitress) was amazing. Highly recommend.
