I saw A Giant Dog's (US) first gig across across the pond at The Waiting Room in December 2016. Epic! The perfect venue for such a potent band. Highlights included meeting the band outside the club after the gig while a funeral parlor across the street burned to the ground, complete with fire brigade, and of course the on-stage urination. Good times.

Went to see friends perform in the basement, fab venue.
Large bar and plenty of seating, also can eat there, l wasn't hungry but l watched food being served up... Defiently will eat there next time.
Loved the vibe of the place, nice atmosphere.

Had an absolute blast with Not an Animal vs Viscera. Wicked underground music ;)

Small and intimate music venue, I was there last night to watch the fantastic Tragic Sasha and Emma Miller.
A very small venue with seating to either side of the floor.
Bar at back of room has all the usual suspects you expect from a gig.
This is a real throwback to days of old with little venues situated in or next too or in this case under, a popular pub.
DEFO worth a visit, I'm sure I'll be back soon!

Great service, food looks great. A small but perfectly miked concert space with no sound issues. Decent sized stage. Friendly staff too!

Good venue in Stoke Newington for intimate gigs. Keep an eye on their social media pages for the acts that are rolling through.

I saw Prodigy and Gary Numans guitarist Rob Holliday in his own fantastic band Sulpher last week, it was an amazing performance in such an intimate venue, he even passed me the mic to to bark down, he also performed an amazing cover of Marilyn Mansions 'the beautiful people '😎

A really cool venue underneath a very comfortable and nice city pub. Music volume/acoustics are perfect and has a real vibe. 100% would recommend and go again.
Also- the pub upstairs that the venue belongs too, The Three Crowns, great food and drinks and very comfortable.

The very definition of a dive bar - great venue for all types of live music. Great sound for such a small venue. Is located in a little bit of a public transport black whole - but there are plenty of buses to get you home after a gig.

Went to see The Middle Kids play and dicovered a rather nice but small venue below the Three Crowns. There is a small bar and toilets and the sound is really good, standing only but that is to be expected.
If you arrive early the pub upstairs is great with a wide variety of beers, nice food and plenty of seating. It is very clean and no graffiti.

Really cool venue for small gigs including up and coming artists. Quite good sound for the setting and has a really intimate vibe. It is a basement style venue below an upscale pub which seems to be good for both drinks and food.

Really good for such. A small venue. For DJ sets it becomes a bit of a boiler room. For gigs it's very intimate, so you'll be absorbed into whatever is on. Drinks are also very reasonable unlike many venues.

Great little intimate venue to see live music. Saw Keir here and he was great.

Saw Ferris and Sylvester play here, the sound was good and we had a good hang out in the bar upstairs. Have a good selection for American whisky 🥃. I've also had the food hear before when I was playing for other artists and it's really good!

Small intimate live venue putting on good bands with cocktails on tap upstairs

Compact, subterranean live music venue below Three Crowns pub, Stoke Newington. No frills, good sound. Fortunate to see a remarkable set from Durand Jones & the Indications, US soul band in the ascendancy. Probably the last time they play such a small venue over here.

Food was amazing, thank you to the chef for creating such a great vegan and gluten free dinner. It was excellent. Staff is lovely and the venue downstairs is cool

I went to the Waiting room to attend gigs which are happening in the basement. As is it is the basement it can get very hot during spring/summer. The sound is sometimes too loud and I advise people to have earplugs for gigs there.

(Translated) Concert bar in East London. The area is quite remote and the atmosphere is a bit more marginal than in the center, but if that doesn't matter to you, it is recommended. Large variety of groups live small room in a basement.

Bar de conciertos en la zona este de Londres . La zona está bastante apartada y el ambiente es un poco más marginal que en el centro , pero si eso no te importa recomendado. Gran variedad de grupos en directo sala pequeña en un semisótano .
