l. w.What's cookin' have been providing this part of East London with quality music for years now. Whilst there is no admission fee you are expected to donate to the overall cost of paying the band's and putting the show on by putting a few quid in the collection glass that goes around during the show. Even if you put a couple of quid in each time the glass goes round it will be well less than a tenner, which is damn good value for damn good music. Then factor in the cheap beer prices it's a very good value night out. We'd love to go more but unfortunately children have got in the way (the little fun stealing, money draining bundles of joy). Please go and please support.
J. C.Friendly people, good music. A New Year's Eve event upstairs at the Leytonstone ex-servicemen's club. Two good bands. The "What's Cooking" rocking blues, soul and similar style music venue is held on a regular basis. We'll worth checking their Web site.
